Farmstay vacation rentals in Finger Lakes

As a long-time ago long-time Ithaca resident, returning there pretty much every year, I know Ithaca very well. So I knew where I wanted to stay and in what kind of place fro this visit. Not only was the location perfect, so was the place and the setting. More than that, Rachel and Ethan were perfect hosts. It helped that they live in the farmhouse on the property, so if there were any needs, they could easily be fulfilled. I look forward to returning.

The place is spotless, clean and comfortable. The living room has a big window overlooking the pond where you can see sunrise and geese swimming. Occasionally the Highlands cows with come by the fence. If you walk up a pathway you can see the rolling hills and the valley. The place is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend someone who wants to get away from the hustling city to recharge. Casey has everything you need, from cooking utensils to lotion and shampoo. The place is perfect!

If you are looking for a place to disconnect and unwind from the busy world, this is the place. Beautiful, serene, relaxing. The Jen (host) is kind, sweet, and went out of her way to make welcome us and make us feel at home. would highly recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay. Erika and Jeremy went out of their way to make sure we felt at home and comfortable. Erika's granola was amazing, and Jeremy's coffee satisfied my husband's coffee needs. My husband is a coffee connoisseur, so he recognized a great cup of coffee! Jeremy knows his stuff when it comes to coffee. The location of this place worked perfectly for us. We spent our days at wineries and restaurants, returning to sleep at night and then head out again in the morning. The location allowed us easy access to all the sights we wished to visit, and Erika and Jeremy's restaurant recommendations were spot on.

Very cute cabin. We loved stepping out onto the deck and enjoying our morning cup of coffee with the sound of the stream in close proximity and the lovely view of the trees. My husband enjoyed a little fishing on the pond within walking distance of the cabin. As mentioned in the description, it is very close to the road. If you're a light sleeper, take some ear plugs. Also, it is a cabin so note that there may be a critter or 2 inside the cabin and bug bites are very much a part of the experience. I woke up with several bites. The shared bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. The shared kitchen was also helpful. We did cook a little breakfast there every day. Of the 2 cabins available by this host, this one has a little more privacy. All in all, we would love to return in the future. Great hosts.

This was our second time staying. We just adore this place! On this visit, the flowers were all in bloom. Morning coffee on the glider outside with all the birds is perfection. Inside, the home was clean, tidy and way more spacious than you think from the outside. Very comfortable. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely book here.

As soon as we arrived, Ed was there to wish us a warm welcome and to make ourselves at home. The property was absolutely beautiful with the best views. Mornings with complimentary coffee and listening to the birds sitting on the front porch was very peaceful. We really enjoyed feeding carrots to the horses. Definitely enjoyed our stay and will return in the future! Van and Ed were wonderful hosts!!

I spent a week on the farm. Perfect place to relax and ride a horse. Pictures are great but seeing it in person is better. The barn was fully equipped and clean. Rachel is an excellent host. Don't pass it up.

The house is beautiful and in a gorgeous setting. It’s extremely clean and well-appointed with everything you need. The house has been newly renovated on the inside and the furniture is comfortable. It’s was the perfect gathering place for my sibs and I. Thanks for sharing your home!

Everything was wonderful and we had a great time. The house was perfect and the road was virtually free of traffic and noise. We would absolutely come back. Seneca Falls is such a cute little town with lots to do within an hours drive.

We were on a trip across half of the country and had not slept well until we stayed at Tim and Katie's. Even our anxious border collie got comfortable quickly there. The house is spacious, clean, and very inviting. The hosts were also quick to respond and try to assist when we thought we lost something important after leaving. 5 stars all the way around!

My friend and I came here over the weekend and it was the perfect escape from our city lives. the place was clean, easy to find, peaceful, safe, and everything else you could want from an airbnb. Barb was an amazing host who gave clear instructions and was super friendly and nice - she gave us a lovely tour of the farm and introduced us to her goats! We have 0 complaints. Thank you Barb for the best weekend!!! We hope to come back one day <333

Mary was an incredibly gracious and accommodating host. She has a lovely cottage amidst a very private section of the lake and we felt we had all we needed to enjoy our peaceful retreat.

This place is truly unique. It's a get away space for musicians who share it when they aren't using it. The place has been built up and settled in. It's gorgeous, the location and the barn architecture. But it's not uptight. It feels like late 60s - early 70s rock and roll, or like classic country music. Maddy's family has a phenomenal record collection and the stereo sounds SO good. The albums we brought came to life there. There's also an excellent book collection, lots of rock and music stuff but also philosophy, literature, eco books, and classic kids book (lots of kids books and a massive toy trunk with toys for kids of all ages!). The kitchen has got pretty much everything you need, and all the basic amenities and appliances. Around about are lots of area lamps, interesting hangings, colored glass, rugs, throws, and well cared for house plants. Finally, the pond and field have not been chemical killed. So, there are lots of birds, frogs, fish, and nests.

This was a wonderful lake view location with beautiful surroundings and great space for indoor and outdoor activities. It was a short drive to town, close to local wineries and tucked away from noise and traffic. Perfect getaway spot!

Wow! Stunning views and peaceful silence were the highlights of Erik & Veronica’s property. A winery and distillery at the bottom of the driveway was an added bonus. Numerous wineries, breweries, and distilleries all within a couple minute drive. Erik was very quick to respond to any questions or requests. We will absolutely be booking again in the future! Can’t wait!

Brittany and Kenny were friendly, responsive and thoughtful every step of the way. We had a brief power outage, and they helped us with a little issue afterwards in no time flat. I would highly recommend The Riesling Ranch for comfort, beauty, access to wineries/restaurants/indoor and outdoor activities, shopping and just plain peace and quiet.

Really enjoyed our stay! My friend and I and our two dogs were looking for a quiet, cozy spot to relax and do some hiking, and we got that and then some! Instructions were very clear, and it was easy to find the cottage. Everything was as pictured, huge yard for the dogs (big selling point for us) and had everything we needed inside for a few days. Charming decor, a lovely deck with chairs to watch birds (humming birds were very active!) and listen to the creek. Bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, and the hosts even provided extra linens and towels for the dogs. Raylene came to greet us at check in and gave us pointers on the quirks of the house, as well as some local recommendations of things to do. The weather was cool and a little wet so be sure to have bug repellant! But it was the perfect temp for the dogs. Loved that the road leads into a state forest, that was a nice treat! Overall would recommend staying, especially with pets. Could have easily spent a week here!

Tina’s AirBnB was the perfect getaway for my fiancée and I during our visit to Seneca Lake. The location was private but very close to one of the main roads around the lake which offered extremely quick access to all there is to see around the area. Tina was also very helpful in providing a list of local places to visit and was all around very knowledgeable of the area. The space itself was extremely clean and spacious with everything you’re looking for in a place to stay.

One of my top two favorite rental spaces to date! Dan has created a space that met any need we had. Every last detail and inch of the space has been so well thought out. A bottle of wine was generously waiting for us upon our arrival. Dan is very thorough in his instructions and communication. He reached out during our stay to make sure we were doing well and didn’t have any issues. The setting is so peaceful whether you are up around the cottage or down by the lake. Our weather wasn’t great, so unfortunately time on the lake itself didn’t happen. We hope to visit again and be able to make use of the kayaks. Fantastic find if you’re looking to get away!
