Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. we visited to go to a wedding locally, so did not get to see to much of the local sites, but our stay was very comfortable and very pleased with the cottage as the weather meant we spent more time inside than we had planned. well done on providing such a nice cottage.

Fabulous! We had 6 days at the Old Piggery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are brilliant and the accommodation equally brilliant too. Peaceful location, well kept gardens, lovely hot tub and there was everything we needed at the accommodation. The hosts also left us some lovely surprises/treats too. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to come home and we will be back again in future. Thank you Sue and Phil!

We had a fantastic time at The Stables celebrating our rescue greyhound’s fifth birthday - she got to run around happily in the enclosed garden whilst we enjoyed our complimentary Prosecco in the hot tub!Secluded location, relaxing and everything you could need thought of by Paul & Fiona. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay with my family at this historic cottage. Especially loved the easy access to the Fife Coastal Path that we walked daily into Burntisland or Aberdour. Excellent hosts as well. Thank you for your hospitality, we would highly recommend this property!

Had a lovely stay at this cottage . Near to Edinburgh as my son was doing the marathon but in a lovely location . Kylie was response to our messages and a lovely homemade loaf gave that extra touch for our arrival . Would definitely recommend and stay again .

A very clean and cozy cottage in a beautiful area. There are some things that don't come across in the listing: the views out the windows are of beautiful rolling farmland with many windmills in the distance; the drive up to the cottage from the main road is again through beautiful rolling hills with views of the ocean; behind the cottage is a large hillside with grazing sheep. In general the setting was much nicer than I expected. Comfortable beds, nice heavy duvets, very quiet, clean updated bathroom. Our kids loved it too. All together a very nice, relaxing place, close to many beaches and quaint seaside towns.

We had a wonderful stay! Sarah added lovely touches like fresh flowers and delicious shortbread, which made us feel so welcome. The big garden was perfect for our dog, who absolutely loved exploring. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, we enjoyed watching the local wildlife and farm animals. A truly peaceful and charming getaway — we can’t wait to come back! A slight problem with the hot water and Sarah was great. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

We had a lovely stay at Natalie’s apartment in Crail! It’s a beautiful apartment in a very nice garden right in the heart of the town. We loved being able to explore the Fife coastal path right from the apartment. Natalie was incredibly communicative, helpful, and responsive all throughout. Can’t recommend it enough and we’d love to stay again!

Great stay in Philippa’s place, very cosy and set out in the countryside. Would definitely come back for some quiet time.

The cottage is lovely with some thoughtful extras like a head torch and some milk. I loved the location and views. I will definitely come back again.

The cottage was pristine, modern comfortable and very comfortable. The decor is modern but relaxed, the sofa is sooooo comfy and the bed is huuuge. The location is very peaceful, although to get to any amenities it does mean a drive, there is no shop, pub, restaurant etc within walking distance. The location is excellent for exploring Northumberland, under an hour from Bamburgh Castle, half an hour from Alnwick and Alnwick Castle, and an hour ish from Berwick upon Tweed.

A really cosy, home from home cottage with a beautiful enclosed garden overlooking the surrounding countryside. Very well equipped and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom is a real treat. Thank you Debbie.

Could not fault The Hemmel at all. Absolutely beautiful. The accommodation, surroundings and view was exceptional. Ezra our labradoodle loved the enclosed garden. From the greeting off Kate, the beautiful homemade cake and flowers left for us, watching the red squirrel and the beautiful Northumbrian countryside and beaches, there was nothing we did not like about our stay. If we decide to come back to this neck of the woods, this would be our first pick. Five stars and beyond.

The Bread oven was very comfortable, well equipped and furnished particularly if you want to cook your own meals. The china, cutlery and utensils were all of a much better quality than most Airbnbs .We enjoyed being to sit in an attractive garden. The home made bread, shortbread biscuits, fruit juice, butter, milk and jam were much appreciated and Andy and Sue were helpful and friendly hosts. It was also very useful to be able to charge our EV car on site. We were sent a comprehensive log book before we arrived with gave a lot of useful and helpful information about the cottage and the area. There was plenty of storage space both for clothes and food. We hope to return to explore more of the area than 3 days allowed.

I can't say enough about this magical cottage. The phenomenal view of the castle was the icing on the cake. Everything was wonderful here - beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, living area was cozy, bathroom was clean. Location is marvelous - restaurants and bars are close and the Royal Mile, Victoria Street and Candlemakers Row are all within walking distance. I would book this place again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful accommodation in the lush countryside an easy 15 minute drive into Alnwick. Helen (host) was very welcoming and the goodies waiting for us in the kitchen on our arrival was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again if we were in the Alnwick area. Thanks Helen!

Great place. Spacious, clean, comfortable. We saw the hare in the fields too. Near the A1 but not at all noisy. Lovely garden.

The cottage is well situated, easily walkable to local amenities. The kitchen is well equipped if eating in rather than dining out. The off-road parking is great for smaller cars but would have been a challenge if we had taken our estate car - narrow one-way street and tight turn. The cottage has an out building which has good sea views and provides shelter on those blustery and damp days. We are looking forward to a future return visit.

Beautifully appointed cottage in the lovely Warkworth. Very comfortable and great to have 2 en suite bedrooms. Well located to the village, walking distance to Amble and ideal for our Coastal walk to Craster with bus back! A perfect weekend!

We had a lovely peaceful and restful stay in this lovely spotlessly clean and very comfortable property. Communication with host excellent and very attentive. We recommend a stay at Pope Lodge.

I can't recommend the Wee Coorie Cottage highly enough. The place is spotless and has all the facilities you will need for a relaxing stay. Great wee touches like condiments in the fridge - things you don't often find in an AirBnB. Given it the other side of the world I doubt I'll be back but if I was to be travelling here again I would book it in a heartbeat.
