Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Escondido

My 2 colleagues and myself stayed here for a total of 8 nights as we were in town for a conference. It was brilliant and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Oceanside and this property .

This house was beautiful and the pool was amazing! Gabe was responsive and very friendly. check in was easy. The beds were so comfy, and everything was pristine. thank you again for hosting my family of 9 plus doggies! we will Def be returning soon! p.s. The pool heating was so worth it!

Lisa was such a great host! Very communicative and quick to respond. She was also very accommodating with our checkout since we were lucky enough to not have another guest check in after us. Her place is beautiful and the backyard is so incredibly spacious. She made us and our dog feel right at home! Huge bonus was having a big yard for Kiwi to run around and do her business, and she loved playing in the dog-friendly pool. Can’t wait to come back in the future!

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

It was wonderful. The views from the deck were amazing. Every bed was comfortable. I loved the bowl of gummy’s they had for us 😁. It’s was perfect for our family reunion everyone had privacy and the family room’s furniture was perfect to cozy up by the fire and watch tv. I loved the weather there. I opened up the windows and we had perfect weather so we never had to turn on the air conditioner. Kelly allowed us to put the cover over the pool and it warmed up the pool and the grandkids had a blast. We had multiple generations at home ( 4 generations from 85?to 1 yr old 😁) and everyone was happy. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy family together.

This was heaven on Earth! I will remember this stay for the rest of my life. The hosts are so generous, welcoming, and easy-going. We felt relaxed and free throughout our entire stay. They remembered my bday and hung a birthday banner in the living room! We brought our dog and they were SO chill about letting our sweet old doggy explore the grounds off leash and even accompany us up to the pool at the house! We had our 1.5yr old with us and made epic joyful memories as a family just enjoying the grounds for the weekend. This was the first time our daughter had ever seen a goat, a sheep, an alpaca, bunnies, or chickens in real life. Watching our toddler and our dog explore the animals side by side was my favorite thing I’ve experienced in life so far! It was so special watching my child soak it in, I can’t describe it. My family and I LOVE the Tipsy Goat Ranch and the amazing hosts. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We had a fantastic time! The property was beautiful. Everything was exactly as described and just like the photos. The gorgeous view was an added surprise. The house is private and very close to everything! Daniel was always quick to respond and very friendly!

The Bluebird Retreat was a really unique place to stay in Romona. It really felt like a getaway as it’s located in a really tucked away area so you don’t have to worry about neighbors or the sounds of traffic. It was truly just peace and quiet. Place was stocked up with everything we needed to bring some groceries and cook dinner. Everything was clean and spotless. The hose Lara was always responsive. Best part was waking up to all the sunshine and critters hanging around the place, squirrels and so many kinds of birds ( if you’re a birder you’ll really appreciate this place) plus the spectacular view of lake Sutherland 👌🏼 overall this place is one of a kind, if you ever find the need to be in Ramona, don’t hesitate to book ✅

Alexander's place was the perfect California get away for our family vacation! The location was awesome just a short walk from the beach. The backyard was so big for California and great for our dogs. It had a lot of seating and a hot tub which was perfect! Alexander was very responsive throughout our stay. There is a train right behind the Airbnb that used it's horn loudly multiple times a day and until about 11 which was very clearly listed in the listing but if you are sensitive to noise it might bother you. We had no issues with the train.

What a wonderful Airbnb experience! The bungalow was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We especially loved taking advantage of the outdoor amenities, including the cold plunge, sauna and hot tub. The outdoor space was perfectly tranquil. Our daughter and dog loved playing in the yard. The proximity to downtown Carlsbad was a huge plus. We were very happy with our stay!

CitrusDream lived up to its name! Head over heels for the jacuzzi that has jets. Really feels like an outdoor tub, I hopped in right when we got there and again in the morning. Definitely one of the highlights along with the gorgeous views and string lights at night. The trailer is comfortable and equipped with heat and AC. It was about 90 degrees upon arrival so it was amazing to have AC! Bonus there is a TV. Linens and bedding were quite comfortable. 20 mins outside of Julian- we had a wonderful dinner at Jeremy’s on the Hill. Farm to table restaurant recommended by our lovely host Ben. You will to smell citrus, hear farm animals, there will even be a rooster to wake you up, and Ben was kind enough to let you pick some oranges for the road! It was beyond peaceful, private, and a place I hope to visit again soon and will recommend to friends who’d like a little solitude. Thank you Ben!

Loved this spot. Great for 2 couples. Amazing outdoor space. Kitchen is FULLY stocked! Parking. Comfortable, very clean, and homey. We stayed for three nights and had everything we could need. Would 100% stay again. Beach supplies were greatly appreciated. Hot tub was a treat. Outdoor seating area was extremely comfortable. Laundry was high quality and super helpful. Didn’t have the opportunity to explore the neighbourhood much, but easy access point to the city as a whole. Great communication from the host, and very much appreciated flexibility and accommodation. Thank you Mari! Hope to be back one day.

This was my second stay at Meaghan and Derek’s property, just me and my dog, Oreo. It’s the perfect place to rest and slow down. The quiet, combined with the beauty of the surroundings, truly helps to cultivate a peaceful mind and leave you feeling recharged. Meaghan and Derek are wonderful hosts—you can genuinely feel the love and care they put into tending their property. It’s a special place, and I’m grateful to have returned. I can’t wait for the next time!

Really great space. Woke up to views of the mountains and horses. Jennifer was very communicative and accommodated us with early check in. She even left farm fresh eggs for us in the morning. Definitely recommend.

Zina & Craig are family for people far from home! They adopted our family into their lives from the very first interaction on the app!! Snacks, tokens, the vibe was high and the accommodations were PERFECTION! Definitely coming back!! The 420 was on point and the environment so special!! Came here for a family wedding and this place caught my eye mainly for the proximity, capacity, and pet accommodation. Residence Inn was our next option since all the guests were staying there and as a matter of fact, we spent much of our time there but having two bathrooms was important to us. We did have some issues but the host, Sonya, was very responsive and did her best to make things right. The house has pretty much everything that you might need so it’s perfect for light travelers. (Not us because we usually bring everything that we need with us :)). We even picked up a case of water before checking in but we were pleasantly surprised to find purified water bottles in the fridge and bu each bed, courtesy of the hosts. The house was clean and spacious. I wish we had more time to enjoy the space but we were mostly in and out of the house. Nonetheless, it was a good place and well worth the money.

I’ve never booked a reservation for San Diego but I came across Liliya’s home and I don’t regret it. It was supposed to be for my cousin and I given he’s never been to San Diego but he enjoyed the amazing view looking over Escondido and there were no complaints during our stay. Liliya responds by text and makes sure your stay is superb. Definitely recommend for nature lovers. Photos match the description.

This serene hilltop location is everything the listing promises. Tucked away in seclusion, it’s the kind of place where you can actually exhale. The view from the deck is breathtaking — rolling hills, vines, and the kind of quiet that’s hard to come by these days. Birds wake you up chirping in the morning, no traffic. Inside, the home is cozy, perfect for a peaceful solo retreat or a relaxing weekend for two. Out a few miles are several boutique locations — and We texted for in and provides so we could take long walks with our pup under the trees. Waking up to the sound of birds and rustling leaves, watching the fog burn off from the valley below — it’s one of those stays that makes you forget to check your phone. Highly recommend if you’re craving calm, comfort, and a little wine country magic
