Wow! Reserve this hidden gem now. This "elegant beach house" is beautifully decorated in contemporary chill--with all the amenities to sleep in and stay home or go out all day and come home and relax. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to gather for a movie, play board games, or retreat to our own space. We could go outside and play cornhole--or split time between the hot tub and the firepit in the beautifully landscaped backyard--then eventually fall asleep in the super comfortable beds. We hated to leave the place. Spotless bathrooms--and all throughout the space. The kitchen was pristine, and well-equipped (extra coffee! ;-) to cook our own feast or order out--and room for our 8 to sit at the same table, inside or out. 15 minutes to the beaches--Oceanside/Carlsbad--and you can bring the provided chairs, umbrella, etc. Instantly responsive hosts: "attentive but not intrusive"--like good friends we'd just met--the BEST! This house was absolutely GORGEOUS!! My friends and I got together for a girls weekend here and it was such a perfect setting for a wonderful weekend. Had to pick my jaw up off the floor when we first arrived! Hilda is a wonderful host and was very attentive and responsive. If you get the chance, absolutely stay here! Hope to come back again someday!!

My family had a wonderful stay. The pool was a hit with the kids. Beautiful area.

His home was everything we needed and more. Each room was beautifully designed for comfort and functionality, looked aesthetically modern but didn't compromise comfort. It had extras that other BnBs did not have (like laundry baskets, storage shelving and hangers, fragrance oils and extra towels / bath products. It was CLEAN, which is hard to find in a BnB, we felt comfortable because of this. Each room was also equal in size and design; of course the master / primary was a dream. We were only at the house to rest and not for leisure or relaxation but we got a great nights' rest each day. Home was large, plenty of spots to gather. Views were beautiful, driveway was amazingly large and streets were private, but welcomingly safe. Easy access to main freeway. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat, appreciative of Francisco and Team's prep to make this home available. The website and level of detail for information was impressive.

Really great space. Woke up to views of the mountains and horses. Jennifer was very communicative and accommodated us with early check in. She even left farm fresh eggs for us in the morning. Definitely recommend.

This was a great home, very clean and well equipped, super spacious for all of us that came out. Sudina was a great host, very helpful and quick to reply. We were here for a local car show and it was close and convenient for us! We are happy to have found this place and hopefully will continue to stay here in the future as we come every year

This place is a quiet getaway that is both peaceful and serene. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a long day out. I have no complaints whatsoever. Star was a great host, and her place deserves a 10 out of 10. I booked in Spring, so as you walk up to the home a bouquet of floral sents of climbing Jasmine, plumerias and gardenias greets you in this beautiful oasis.

Overall fantastic stay! House owner lives on property but the house is secluded just for house guest use. An incident happened where my daughter had an accident during nap time and Kathleen responded quickly and helped us with the change of bedding.

Simon’s property is absolutely stunning, fully equipped with all the necessities - perfect for any occasion or just to getaway and relax in a beautiful oasis. Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. There were also plenty of extra towels and comforters, which was a big plus for our group of 10. Definitely recommend!

The house was perfect for us. We played all the activities, cooled off in the pool, and then relaxed in the spa. Sunset and morning views are amazing! Hosts were very responsive. I appreciated the Canva pdf that had all the instructions for checking in and using the house. It was a great experience.

Highly recommend if you’re in town ! Beautiful home with an amazing back yard and a grill if you like to bbq a perfect get away for the family or even just yourself definitely a place I’ll be going back to host where supper friendly and fast with replying and made sure i had everything i needed for the stay

This villa was perfect for our wedding weekend at Mt Woodson Castle. It was only 4 minutes away! All amenities we could possibly need was provided. The view from the back of the villa was breathtaking. There were 2 jacuzzis that we wished we had time to use. Would definitely want to return again someday to just relax and enjoy the villa. The hosts were super friendly and responsive. Villa was easy to find thanks to very detailed instructions from the hosts.

The villa on the hill is a hidden gem that I would gladly go back to. The views were breathtaking from just about any spot on the property. One of my favorite parts about the whole villa stay was sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set in the evening. The villa itself was just as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside. The owners keep it very clean and stocked with cooking utensils if needed. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Southern California, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and spacious place to stay.

This was our first family vacation with 3 generations and the home was absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of space for everyone! Upstairs, 2 bedrooms have a Jack & Jill bathroom between them, 1 has its own, and the master has its own. Downstairs, the bedroom has a bathroom just outside the door and there are half baths at the home entry and in the laundry room. The pool was the highlight of our trip. Greg recommended heating it the first day based on the weather forecast and the pool temp, and it was a comfortable 84 degrees for our entire stay. The views are amazing and so many amenities that you really just need to bring your toothbrush! I’m a fan sleeper so I purchased a fan and left it there for future fan sleepers (although there are ceiling fans in each room). Fan sleepers will understand how important this is lol. Also, we couldn’t find a lighter for the grill but that may have just been our inability to find it. We HIGHLY recommend this home! Greg and his home are amazing!

We stayed at The Mountain House over a weekend, and it was amazing. Beautiful views from the house and the whole farm is so serene and peaceful. My daughter loved the animals (especially the goats) and if she had it her way, she would stay there full time. The chickens gave us lots of fresh eggs everyday. Also, I highly recommend taking one of the cooking classes that is offered as it really adds to the experience. We took the cheese making one and came home not just with knowledge of how to make delicious cheese, but also lots of cheese for us to enjoy.

Lydia was a very responsive host and was really easy to communicate with. We were a little skeptical because we knew we would be staying on the property where she lived with her family and were worried about privacy but the cabin is very private and although we naturally bumped into Lydia and her husband a few times, they did not spend any time out their back yard (where the cabin is located) for the duration of our stay so we had the place and the yard pretty much to ourselves which was great. We didn't realize how far away we would be from shops and restaurants. It is about a 20 minute walk to the nearby town so we did spend a lot of money on ubers but that was our own fault for not doing our research beforehand. Overall Lydias place is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, she even had some stuff in the fridge and cleaning products which was really convenient. Thank you Lydia for a lovely stay.

This place is exactly what you see. You have all the privacy you need, but you're not too far away from the market. Finding the place, getting inside and the amount of things that you can do at the home, makes it worth the stay. The house was spotless, and everything in the house works. No surprises.

We had a lovely weekend stay! Rowena is a fantastic host. She was warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She made our arrival smooth and our experience even more special by answering all our questions promptly, especially when we weren’t able to reach RedAwning directly. Her thoughtful touches, like leaving wine for us, really made a difference! The cabin itself is charming and full of personality. We enjoyed nights around the fire pit under the stars and peaceful mornings birdwatching from the porch. The neighborhood cat even hung out with us! Inside, we loved the quirky features, from the stone basement to the attic bedroom, and we had fun with the board games and projector setup. One thing to keep in mind is the stairs are uneven inside and outside the cabin, which could be tricky for guests who prefer more stable footing. Thanks again for a comfortable, memorable stay!
