Beach front home with cosy, coastal interiors.

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Spent a lovely and peaceful family weekend at Simone’s place. Upon arriving the Airbnb was very clean and tidy, looked just like the photos with some added personal touches in the kitchen (thank you). A lovely view over the beach which was so much calmer and peaceful in comparison to others beaches further along. 10 minute walk to the high street with some very nice independent shops. Simone was flexible on checkout which was great for us as we had nice weather the weekend we visited. 🙂 Would highly recommend, and I would definitely return!

Sandbanks

So impressed with Katie’s place. What a fantastic house it is. Tucked away down a long private road and at the end of it sits the property. My family and I loved it. Fell in love with the amount of rooms and just how much space there was. Great for dogs too. Lovely and clean and lots of nice touches. If you want to explore Sussex then this place is perfect. Easy to get around from here. For a long weekend break it was ideal. Thanks to Katie for making our stay an enjoyable one.

Unique 14th century house in the Citadel of Rye

CarolRating, 5 starstoday
Just experienced the most perfect 3 day stay, in an absolutely ideal location in Rye. A spotlessly clean, stunning character filled property with low beams, wonky walls and sloping floors, which all add to it's wonderful charm. A very responsive, helpful and kind host, who really wants you to enjoy your time there. No questions too hard and always a very warm prompt response from Becky. We would 100% recommend this property and host, if your looking to book the perfect getaway in Rye. Thank you so much Becky, for all your quick responses and for allowing us to stay in your beautiful property. Kind regards, Carol.

Contemporary Barn in the Kentish Countryside

WayneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, we felt right at home. Dee and Jeff were exceptional hosts, very friendly and welcoming. They really do go the extra mile, as all the reviews say - to ensure we have a pleasant stay. The barn was everything I expected and more, you could see there were so many nice personal touches and preparation that went into making our stay as amazing as it was - from the complimentary breakfast (locally sourced), to the mobile charger and bottles of water by the bedside. Also, loved having access to Netflix and Prime! Will absolutely recommend and stay again, maybe in the Autumn/Winter time to take advantage of the log burner and fire pit outside!

Beach house, cosy with stunning views.

KayRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Thanks so much David & Donna for a wonderful stay. The location was brilliant for proximity to the beach which was perfect for the children. The games room, table football and board games made our time very enjoyable. We went out and about a lot enjoying lovely days out at Battle, Pevensey Castle and Herstmonceux castle plus also enjoyed lovely meals out. Our favourite restaurant was the Thai restaurant in Battle (wonderful and would highly recommend)! The house was also the best equipped of all the Airbnbs we have stayed in! Thx so much.

Calf Shed, fully accessible farm cottage with pool

KevinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

Interior designed guest house in Goudhurst, Kent

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation is beautiful, stylish and comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and the attention to detail really made it feel like a luxury stay (fluffy towels, soft bed linen, high-end toiletries etc). The garden and pool were gorgeous and we really enjoyed relaxing in those spaces and spotting the wildlife (woodpeckers, squirrels, kestrels). We had total privacy but the owners were incredibly accommodating and responsive if we needed them. A five star stay in close reach of farm shops, pubs, a winery, national trust properties and shopping.

➡️ The Barn House ⬅️ Swimming Pond▫️Jacuzzi▫️Chicks!

AstridRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay in this immaculately converted barn. It is huge, plenty space inside for when it was raining. The pond and the jacuzzi were a real treat, and the games room was used by everybody. We loved our barbecues outside, overlooking the valley, listening to the chickens. And we couldn't believe we had breakfast with still-warm-from-just-having-been-laid eggs! We would have loved a dryer or a bigger outside drying rack for all our wet stuff, as we had a toddler with us, but that didn't spoil our fun. We will recommend this beautiful place to our friends!

Cottage with tennis court and pool

DannyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Perfect place for our family of four to stay for a peaceful and secluded retreat for a couple of nights. The cottage was lovely and the grounds and surrounding garden were beautiful. My two primary school aged daughters loved spending time in the swimming pool and even attempted to play a bit of tennis! Caroline was a brilliant host and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Super friendly and always clear and responsive with communication. Would love to stay here again some time and hope we get a chance to do so!

Log cabin lakeside retreat in private grounds

AnnabelRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The lodge was excellent, really spacious and had a lovely rustic feel. The kitchen was very well equipped and the little welcome pack was appreciated. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The location by the side of the owners property was very nice - in amongst the trees, with gorgeous views of the lake and there was plenty of garden to enjoy in the sunshine. Moreover though it was access to the lake that made the weekend. We enjoyed wild swimming, the kayaks and yoga by the lake. It's a really beautiful spot and less than ten minutes to the beach too. Shawn was a lovely host too. I would highly recommend this place. We went with another couple but we'd love to return with the children.

The Hopper Hut self-contained accommodation

CarmelleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My boyfriend and I just got back from a peaceful 2 night stay at the Hopper hut. What a wonderful little place, in the middle of nowhere but close enough to the village and beyond! Very clean, beautiful decor, comfy bed, TV that you can watch either from the sofa or bed, 2x outside seating areas, one having a fire pit. We had a takeaway from the local Indian the first night, and we cooked in the fully equipped kitchen on the second night. Greatly appreciated the bread, eggs and jam (there a butter in a holder next to the microwave which we didn't realise until after we went and bought butter lol) We visited Bewel water and cycled the whole trail, the hut is close to the 5 mile mark of the 13 mile trail. The shower at the hut is amazing and was just what we needed after 13 miles cycling! This break was so peaceful, Veronika is a lovely lady, my boyfriend appreciated meeting the doggies too. Would definitely return and highly reccomend! Thank you

Oak Framed Mini Barn

SteveRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I had a fabulous stay with my dog,the views are incredible and the surrounding countryside is so beautiful, lovely woodlands and meadows to explore,we walked for miles and definitely want to go back to see more of the area, great for wildlife, deer, rabbits,Buzzard,Barn Swallows, also heard a Yellowhammer if that’s your sort of thing. Romy was great host, very friendly and was available when needed but not intrusive, had lots of info on local life and popped round to help when I couldn’t get the cooker working, she soon sorted it out. Not too far to drive into Hastings,St Leonard’s or Bexhill on sea for the beaches or town. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and look forward to going back sometime soon.

Beachfront apartment with wood burner & courtyard

GailRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Thank you Mathew for allowing us to stay with our dogs. Even though our stay was an emotional one, we felt right at home and that made things a whole lot easier. Being Autistic with other disabilities/difficulties, it can be very hard travelling and staying away at different locations. From the moment we arrived we felt like we belonged which really helped me to cope, thank you We loved the basement apartment, it was perfect from everything it offered, to the unique quaintness of its character, to how quiet it was, to feeling so warm and inviting. We look forward to returning again
