The Stables at Boreham House

LyndseyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fabulous stay at Sara’s place and felt right at home from the minute we arrived. It was a great location for short distance driving to Knockhatch Adventure Park and also to get into Hastings for the day. The attention to detail in The Stables was just lovely - everything has been carefully thought about and parking right outside too. The beds were super comfy and we wish we could’ve have stayed longer. Sara and Simon were great hosts - we couldn’t recommend highly enough!!

Pretty, cosy cottage in a small nest of converted, wood-clad farm buildings off the beaten track in deepest Sussex. Compact-but-cute bedrooms, attractive living area with sofas and well-equipped kitchen, small gardens front and rear. Local pubs a short drive away. Communication was excellent and speedy. Peaceful Countryside Retreat with Sea Views – A Perfect Stayaway ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at the Entire Granary Barn Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful countryside setting and the distant sea views – absolutely stunning and so peaceful. The cottage itself is spacious, well-kept, and full of character. The large living area was perfect for relaxing in the evenings, and both bedrooms were comfortable, with plenty of storage space. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for home-cooked meals. Having our own garden space was a real bonus – ideal for enjoying breakfast outdoors or just soaking up the calm surroundings. The private parking space made everything even more convenient. This is a perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind, enjoy nature, or explore the local area. It felt secluded yet was still within easy reach of coastal walks and nearby villages. Highly recommended – we’d love to return!

Our family had a wonderful few days at the gorgeous Oast House property. Stunning setting with views across the fields. Local walks were great and maps available, along with local attractions all close by. Heather prepared an amazing meal for us which was well worth the money and the property had everything we needed for a peaceful and enjoyable few days away from the big smoke. The guest book in the property says it all about what a fantastic place this is. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

The Barn @ Hoods Croft

NicholasRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We absolutely loved our stay at the barn. From the moment we walked in, we wondered if we might be the first guests – everything was immaculate. The building itself is stunning, beautifully designed, and set in a truly special location. The space is generous and thoughtfully laid out. We stayed with our 12-year-old son and made use of the foldaway bed, which was both comfortable and simple to put away each morning. The facilities were excellent – high-quality sheets and towels, great shower toiletries, and everything you could want for making coffee, including a pod machine. Every detail had been considered. Sophie and Eddie were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The setting was perfect for us – peaceful and rural, with walks on the common right on the doorstep, yet still within easy reach of the larger towns in East Sussex. This was, without doubt, the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in – we’ll definitely be back!

The Cowshed, Tunbridge Wells

SurajRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Clean, cozy, comfortable! The Cow Shed is a delight, tucked away down a country lane and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed waking up to the birds and light streaming in each morning (although there were of course curtains, should you wish to sleep in!), and in the afternoon watching the cows mill about the field. The house is well fitted out with essentials and we found everything we needed for cooking, ironing, and the like. It is a short drive into Tunbridge Wells town centre. Caroline is also a lovely host and responded quickly to any questions that we had. We would happily stay here again!

Contemporary Barn in the Kentish Countryside

WayneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, we felt right at home. Dee and Jeff were exceptional hosts, very friendly and welcoming. They really do go the extra mile, as all the reviews say - to ensure we have a pleasant stay. The barn was everything I expected and more, you could see there were so many nice personal touches and preparation that went into making our stay as amazing as it was - from the complimentary breakfast (locally sourced), to the mobile charger and bottles of water by the bedside. Also, loved having access to Netflix and Prime! Will absolutely recommend and stay again, maybe in the Autumn/Winter time to take advantage of the log burner and fire pit outside!

Green Park Farm Barn

CliveRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our second stay at Victoria’s was just as comfortable as last time - a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and good bathrooms. It is also ideal for anyone with mobility issues given the spacious layout all on one floor. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow much time in the garden, but that can’t be helped! A nearby Morrisons is handy for basic shopping, with a large Lidl not far away. 30 mins by car to Glyndebourne. We would certainly recommend the Barn and hope to return ourselves again in future. Oh yes, and we enjoyed the welcome cake!
