This is a lovely place to stay. Very quiet. It has been so well converted into accommodation.The views are terrific. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen facilities are good. Everything you need all in all. Thanks Alison for the breakfast supplies. We hope to stay again . Janice

Sam was an excellent host! She caters for every need and is very warm and welcoming. The treetops has everything you need, was very clean and tidy and the hot tub was a bonus. We will definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to everyone! Would give 10 stars if we could.

Just a lovely little sanctuary …. Beautifully decorated and just right to use as base in lovely part of the country … garden lovely n secure for dogs ( so that helps with the ‘chillaxing’!!! 😊😊

A perfectly peaceful getaway, badgers rest is spacious and has everything you need for your stay. I really enjoyed sitting outside and taking in how peaceful it was. Fiona and her partner are so friendly to talk to, I felt very welcomed arriving by motorcycle also ☺️ Fiona had great recommendations about the local area and countryside walks you can take from the Airbnb also. Peaceful location and gardens, v cosy little place. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, visiting the village and nearby areas; the reservoir, Sissinghurst and Hastings. James and Sarah were very responsive to our questions and requests.

Lovely , comfortable ,well planned accomodation in peaceful surroundings A real home from home , equipped with everything you need Unfortunately the WiFi did not connect , so I had to sit on the owners patio to connect to theirs. Short term this worked out ok, and wouldn't put me off returning . Mary and Simon were very personable , and the ease of a comfortable cabin with it's covered terrace and far reaching views made it an enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay at Penella's place and would definitely use it again. We went in order to visit Rye which is beautiful but busy, and Penella's place is incredibly peaceful with the real benefit of onsite parking. There are amazing views and we particularly enjoyed watching some beautiful sunrises from bed! The Plough (a 5 minute walk) does delicious food and our top tip for Rye is the Kino independent cinema. It shows recent film releases viewed from arm chair seating with a stylish cafe/ bar as well.

This last minute stay was definitely one of my favourite places. Jane had gone to lengths to make sure I had all I need from breakfast to bathroom essentials. The area is beautiful and I enjoyed having my breakfast outside in the secluded garden. There are lots of local walks that Jane kindly provided information for. I hope to visit again soon as there are still many more places I would like to see.

It’s all been said before but… it was beautifully presented (top quality fittings, furniture etc), everything thought through for convenience and leisure… it’s like walking through the door to a warm hug! Also the bathroom is luxurious - have stayed in a few nice hotels but never had a roll-top bath ‘experience’ as good as here! The little outdoor area is an absolute haven and looks onto beautiful rolling fields (view that can also be enjoyed from the sofa if it’s drizzly). We were visiting family but I would have been happy to have spent a more time at the property relaxing with a good book etc. Can’t recommend highly enough - Joanna works very hard, but makes it look easy by being so relaxed and welcoming in her manner.

Thank you for great, comfortable accommodation! The fairy lights leading you up to the entrance, at night, was a lovely surprise. Sitting out admiring the beautiful garden was a real treat. It felt like the ‘Tree of Life’ was just before us! It was heaving with fruit, lots of different birds, butterflies, squirrels and a beautiful fox underneath eating the cherries. Have recommended this Airbnb to our friends, who live locally, if they need extra guest room.

Such a beautiful little find, with amazing views and everything we needed - and only two minutes drive from the wedding we were attending! Everything as described, great communication from Diana and when we did have an issue on our second night she responded quickly and resolved it! No complaints - thanks for having us! Also, the shower is amazing!

We had a lovely stay in the cabin celebrating our anniversary. The garden is a very peaceful place to relax. The cabin is clean and stylish.

Nicky’s place is very clean and comfy. Nicky is friendly and helpful. We had a good time staying there. We would be very happy to stay at Nick’y place if we visit the area and need somewhere to stay.

Lovely stay in a beautiful rural area. Checking in was easy, our host was super communicative and the guest house was spotlessly clean and felt both cosy and modern. Only slight downside: it happened to be an extremely hot (31C) weekend and the place has a bit of a greenhouse effect during the day, with two unshaded, sealed skylights, and hot air gathering under the high ceiling. However, our thoughtful host had opened lower windows in advance and found us a fan on request, so the heat was manageable in the end. In any case, heat was much better than rain! All in all, a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation is beautiful, stylish and comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and the attention to detail really made it feel like a luxury stay (fluffy towels, soft bed linen, high-end toiletries etc). The garden and pool were gorgeous and we really enjoyed relaxing in those spaces and spotting the wildlife (woodpeckers, squirrels, kestrels). We had total privacy but the owners were incredibly accommodating and responsive if we needed them. A five star stay in close reach of farm shops, pubs, a winery, national trust properties and shopping.

Exceptionally well equiped location. Really everthing you need was there and more. Very friendly and helpfull host. She even hang up our washing for us while we were out. A lot of hart warming welcome gifts, like bread, butter, clotted cream, marmelade, tea, and more. We felt immediately at home and had a fabously stay over at Tina's.

The accommodation was spacious, very well maintained, and equipped, also beautifully furnished and very cosy. The position in Ashdown Forest was stunning, and the surrounding garden lovely. A generous breakfast was left in the fridge, and we were very comfortable.

We’d spent the day in Rye walking down to the harbour then arrived in this most beautiful Oast house with a fabulous garden - just like the photos. Had a very relaxed, peaceful evening and comfortable night then walked by an easy footpath to Bodiam castle in the morning. Every comfort had been provided with lovely personal touches. A lovely comfortable stay. Warm and very clean. A great touch was a Xmas tree and a bottle of bubbly delivered to the accommodation.
