Vacation rentals with a fire pit in East Neuk

Caroline’s place is absolutely perfect. The decor is 2nd to none. The kitchen utensils were plentiful we all felt so at home there. Some lovely walks along the coast from the doorstep. Would love to return. Many thanks Caroline for a very enjoyable stay Jan, Jo & Nova

We stayed at Charlotte's house for a family 50th Birthday celebration and it was just the perfect place for 3 generations to relax, have fun and spend some quality time together. The whole house is beautiful and so well appointed with everything we could need both inside and in the garden. Kids and adults alike had a ball and it definitely lived up to being a peaceful house but just minutes from all the East Neuk has to offer. This is a stunning property and we loved our visit! 😍

Melissa was a friendly, helpful and very responsive host. The house was exactly want we wanted and expected. The place was also spotless. The rooms were all good sizes and the bathroom was modern and had a really nice shower (with a bath for the kids) l. The location was great for our little family that wanted space in the evenings but happy to travel a bit to get into Edinburgh, we found the short drive to Kirkcaldy where we could park at the station and get a train directly into central Edinburgh worked perfectly for us. Or you could use as a base for driving to different parts of Scotland. I wish we had time to look at the local area some more as it's near a coastal path. I would definitely come again and recommend to others.

Caroline’s place in Elie was just wonderful! We were celebrating an 80th birthday and having special family time. The place was so well organised and set up for a large family. It was incredibly clean and comfortable and gave us a wonderful stay. Elie was stunning as always! Caroline and Zoe were very helpful to our needs and checked in with us. Thank you all. Would definitely stay again!

Had a fantastic nights stay here , very relaxed , bed super comfy loved the bath in bedroom , very nice touch with Prosecco would highly recommend and would stay again , thanks Ryan

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay in Maggies place. Cottage was exactly as described, hot tub was easy to use and absolutely amazing. A lovely and cosy little place perfect for a wee getaway. Local pub staff were also very friendly and food was yummy.

Our family had an amazing stay at the coal house,kid friendly with toys they can play with, very clean and had all the stuff we needed Carla and Alan were great host and fast to answer any questions we had. Would recommend for anyone that has kids Thank you again

It was a beautiful getaway! A paradise close to the city. Amazing house, felt like a home away from home! The attention to detail in the house was different from anywhere else we've been in the past. It was stacked with all sorts of equipment and anything you would ever need. Beautiful garden with gorgeous lights. The fireplace was where we spent most of our time. We had another highly enjoyable weekend at Swallows Nest, our 2nd short stay at this very peaceful and comfortable property. A home from home, in very beautiful and special surroundings. Already arranging our 3rd visit … :) Highly recommend for a family or couple. Thank you both!

We absolutely loved our stay in Edinburgh. It was a perfect spacious apartment for our family (2 adults, 2 young kids). The terrace and extra bathroom was a godsend. The location was amazing. The apartment was lovely, and well-equipped with a lot of little extras included, like enough dishwashing tablets, washing capsules, extra bathroom products, shopping bags, streaming TV, etc. We had a couple of minor issues with a beeping fire alarm and the toaster short-circuiting the electricity, but Francois was immediately responsive and helpful, even bringing a replacement toaster. The only downside was that I had to vacuum the main bathroom when we arrived due to copious hair from previous guests. Highly highly recommend this property, especially for a family. Really lovely flat in the center of Edinburgh, lovely terrace and parking spot. Walking distance to the main tourist area, nice bakeries and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

A beautiful, cosy, warm flat practically on the beach in Portobello. The flat is so quiet in the evenings, and the beach is perfect for long walks. The city is really close by bus or uber. I would absolutely stay here again when I come to Edinburgh.

We loved our stay at 1881. The colour, furnishings, 2 great bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, excellent kitchen. Borrowed an excellent novel while there and finished it. Jak and Kerri are fabulous, friendly hosts who go above and beyond with info, communication etc. Short walk to the lovely Aberdour Silver Sands beach where you can get fantastic fish and chips, overlooking the water. On the Fife Coastal path and we stayed here rather than Edinburgh and caught the train in from Aberdour station, a short walk away. Highly recommend!

Had a brilliant stay at Fiona’s studio. She was a responsive and accommodating host. Great location in a lovely seaside town , well situated close to a bus route that takes you right into Edinburgh. Also very walkable to the train station in Prestonpans. Would defiantly stay here gain and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

Myself and my partner had an amazing time here from arrival till we left. Leigh was nothing shy of being a fantastic host! She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and always responds quickly if you have a question or need something. The cabins were pristine and beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and comfortable experience. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back in the future.

What a wonderful stay we have had, blissful tranquility personified. Perfect location, function and relaxation. Lovely spot with homely settings surrounded by chickens, sheep and horses… all well designated boundaries for our little Shorkie pup to learn the ways of life. The cabin itself was immaculate, dreamy fixtures and fittings with discrete mod-cons. We were there in summer but winter months would be totally covered!! The hot-tub is one of the best we have ever experienced. Super high pressure jets, fun features with bath tap-like flow and spouts of water etc. LED propaganda. And full blown jacuzzi experience. The attention to detail is profound. Little multi-tool accessories in the kitchen for grating, cutting pizza, all sorts. All sockets have USB. One could go on… Most of all, there was attention paid to shower pressure!! This is the make or break for Haley and I and it was well covered! Quality materials from present-less hosts, delivering quality present perfection.

The cabin couldn’t have been more relaxing! Exactly what we needed after a long travel to start our trip. We were able to relax and unwind with the outdoor bath and fire pit and the chilled champagne and breakfast basket were perfect on arrival! Thanks to Mandy for giving us the best recommendation on a local golf course, Murrayshall was gorgeous and challenging! Thanks for this little gem Alice we hope to be back!

The cabin was exactly what we needed! Super comfortable and a lovely spot to sit outside on a summer evening. The living room is ideal for a glass or four of wine!

Brilliant stay, listing exactly as what we received. Tub was warmed on arrival. Secluded and private stay.

Craig’s place was nice and spacious, a very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and a nice outlook. A great area for exploring, Dunkeld was a really lovely village with some walks around the area. If I had to comment I would say the kitchen could have a comfy seating area so you can look outside and see the forest, some foil and baking paper for those who like to cook after a day exploring and a tin opener too. A lovely visit and we even spotted a beaver on our evening stroll.

Fantastic location! Felt like home away from home. Samantha was extremely helpful with the amount of information she provided when we first booked. Would definitely recommend this anyone looking for a quiet cosy weekend away!
