The B&B is an apartment with its own entrance, private shower/toilet room, and is within cycling distance of the station in Veendam, from where the train leaves for the beautiful city of Groningen. There is also a lot to see in the province itself. However, after a busy day, you will always return to the tranquility and space of B&B HoutStee. You can relax under the veranda, enjoy bird sounds. Possibly in good weather, use the BBQ. Everything is available for this. You also have 2 bicycles at your disposal.

Beautiful, spacious house (130m2) from 1905 located on a quiet street. Very close to the city centre, train station, Groninger museum and Oosterpoort (10 min. walk). Ideal, luxurious and quiet B&B in characteristic street to explore the city Groningen. The house can accommodate up to 4 guests (2 bedrooms). Parking pass available for visitors on request (additional fee of maximum €15 per day depending on hours needed), please reserve in advance. Also there are two bikes available free to use.

Camper 'rust roest'

Altijd al een nachtje in een camper willen doorbrengen? Dat kan bij ons in niet 1 maar 2 unieke campertjes tegelijk. Je kan eerst starten met een kopje koffie of thee in een knusse zithoek in ons Daihatsu campertje uit 1986. De badkamer is vlakbij en volledig privé. Als je moe wordt kan je in een knalgele vespacar P2 in een opgemaakt bed (140×200) met verwarming de nacht doorbrengen. Tevens kan de Daihatsu worden omgebouwd tot een tweepersoons slaapplekje (160×200). maximaal 4 slaapplaatsen

Estate in the center of Assen

Have you always wanted to stay on an estate with a special family history? Then come to Landgoed Overcingel. Experience the peace and space, which was normal then, in a modern setting. In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly to preserve the estate, it was decided to partially convert it into an attractive B&B. A nice, cozy little house on the edge of the old center. Fully furnished, comfortable and fully equipped. Can be booked for a short or longer stay. On the first day, a partly organic, self-service breakfast will be ready for you. Supermarket nearby is at Meeuwerderweg 96-98 (open until 10 p.m./Sunday 8 p.m.) The B&B does not have its own parking space. Not far and the cheapest option is the Oosterpoort parking garage - street name is Trompsingel 23.

Chalet "Pear Blossom"

This rustic cottage in the large cottage garden of the "Willrathshof" can accommodate two to three people. The fantastic view from the terrace of the horse pastures lets you relax immediately! You also have the opportunity to stay with us in the straw. An adventure for young and old! Our farm is located directly on the Wadden Sea World Natural Heritage Site, through which you can walk with Watt'n Piet (Peter) to the island of Baltrum.
