Our house is located between Haren (Gn) and Glimmen on a quiet road. From the house, you can walk and cycle in all directions: Drentse Aa river valley, Appelbergen, the Onlanden, Haren, the Noordlaarder forest, the Paterswoldse and Zuidlaarder lakes and of course the city of Groningen. Our spacious backyard overlooks a meadow, there are regular deer to see, as well as squirrels and sometimes even a fox. Right in the center of Winsum, according to the ANWB the most beautiful village in the Netherlands, is our B&B De krakende wagens. In the back of our garden, 2 converted gypsy wagons and 2 covered wagons are available as accommodation. They can be booked both separately and together. We have converted the crackling wagons into a B&B. So do not expect a top finish, but all amenities are available. In the morning, we serve an extensive breakfast to our guests with enough to make a lunch package.

B&B de Panheide is on the outskirts of the forest, 1.5 km outside the village. We have a small B&B with 1 unit, so a lot of privacy. The bedroom offers 2 box spring beds and a sitting area, TV, WiFi and view/use of the garden. Next to it is a room with a sofa bed for a 3rd person or 2 children. A 3rd person costs an additional €45. Breakfast is €10 P.P. and is also served in this room or outside on the terrace and is settled before departure. Free use of coffee and tea.
