Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Downtown, Durham

Our stay here exceeded our expectations. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the pictures do not do it enough justice. Once inside, the home felt much larger than anticipated and had a warm and cozy feel to it. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and I can’t recommend a stay here enough.

The home was exactly as described. Very welcoming, and so much information about the Durham area. We very much enjoyed our stay, and hope to visit again soon.

Best AirBnB so far. We have stayed in many places around the country and THIS HOME has been the best by far. Spotless, organized, welcoming, comfortable and perfectly located. Eric is a phenomenal host, anticipated our needs before we even asked, and was flexible to suit our travel plans. Quick to respond to any request. Everything you need is there. We plan to stay here again, even forwarded the listing to very “fussy” brother who will be visiting from Denmark. Wonderful experience, highly recommend!

We needed a pet friendly place near our daughter's wedding venue in downtown Durham. We had fun, frenetic days, and it was wonderful to come back to a quiet neighborhood and beautiful home to both relax and reflect. Bill is a very friendly, communicative host, and the surroundings are just beautiful! We would highly recommend this home to anyone needing to be anywhere in the RTP area! Thanks so much for providing this welcoming space for the most wonderful (and emotional) few days we've had in a very long time!!

This place was amazing! Chris and Shannon were quick to respond and help with any issues we encountered. I used this airbnb to host some of my wedding festivities (like rehearsal dinner) and the space was perfect with setting up the dinner outside for my guests. Everyone had a blast. The space was clean, easy to get to/close to everything in downtown, and the neighborhood was quiet. Chris and Shannon were also super helpful in making sure my wedding weekend ran smoothly by allowing me to drop of chairs/tables early and tour the space prior to the event (when asking them). Highly recommend!

The place was clean and comfy, love the back porch. Josh was a great host and gave us some great recommendations. Close to east campus. 10 min. walk to field hockey and softball field. Durham is great city with lots to do.

Excellent hosts and perfect for our family stay. The home was very comfortable and suited our needs with small children and the hosts were very friendly and had a pack n play and high chair set up! We loved being able to drive just a few minutes and be at great restaurants, ice cream shops, grocery stores, and more! Very convenient for visiting Duke campus.

Jess made a stressful time relaxing. From months, to weeks, to days before our son’s wedding she was extremely accommodating! Even to allowing us to sleep a few more hours after the late night celebrations! We love that you love our fur babies as well! The beds were comfy and the couch and living space was perfect for sitting around relaxing!! Thank you Jess for everything!! God bless!

Lanae was just the kindest hostess. We were coming to Durham to see our daughter and her partner. Suddenly their dog fell ill and Lanae was able to take us earlier. Her house is lovely - great pool, squeaky clean and near a beautiful park. We are so grateful for a perfect stay. We will be back! Laura and Joe

We were in town for a special family event and Jonathan’s place was perfect for our needs. It was spacious and clean. The living room and kitchen area is open and the entire place looked professionally decorated. Jonathan was also a very responsive host.

My kids and I felt very comfortable and at home here. Arriving at a very late hour to a security system and very comfy beds, waking up to quiet, clean, and everything we could need. Amy and her staff were very responsive to questions and recommendations. She was incredibly kind.

Yuan was an amazing host super accommodating with my last-minute booking after our original plans fell through. After a quick conversation, he had no problem with us bringing pets, which was a huge relief. The home was clean, in a quiet, lovely neighborhood, and bonus there’s a pool! Highly recommend.

This is our second time at Amanda’s place, wonderful location, quiet neighborhood that is close to everything. What you see with the pics is what you get, which is a great, well kept place. We have stayed at a number of Airbnb’s this is one of the very best.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Jill’s home. The space was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited our needs. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary 7-day YMCA pass provided for everyone on the reservation. Such a thoughtful and generous perk that added so much value to our trip. Jill was a fantastic host with excellent communication throughout our stay. She was responsive, helpful, and made sure we felt welcomed from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend her home to others!

We came into town for a weekend wedding, and we're very pleased with our stay. Our host was welcoming and communicative, and the home was very clean and well appointed. We felt very comfortable and at home.

This space was the perfect escape. I came here for a solo writer’s retreat and left feeling inspired, grounded, and creatively recharged. The environment was peaceful, clean, and exactly as described. It gave me the clarity I needed to focus and reflect. The host was kind and communicative, making everything smooth from start to finish. If you’re looking for a quiet, calming place to reset or create, I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely be back!

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful. We were delighted with the peaceful atmosphere. The presence of a car charger was a huge plus. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Jesse's place was wonderful for our stay. We stayed here for a week and felt right at home. We were able to walk to a quick breakfast just a block away, grocery options two blocks away, and an easy walk downtown in the evening. We even hopped on the fare-free public bus for one trip. The house is easy to use, and having access to the washer/dryer is a definite plus. Having labels on all of the light switches was a convenience that we hadn't seen at other rentals before. We especially liked sitting on the porch with morning coffee. At times the neighborhood noise was a bit loud, but some of that will be lessened once the construction next door is done, so that isn't an inherent issue with the rental. Overall Jesse's place was great and his responsiveness along the way was really appreciated. Durham was a lot of fun for us during our stay (both for work and for fun), and we would rent here again in a heartbeat next time around.

Amy & Elizabeth’s place in Durham was great and a perfect stay for our weekend in Durham. It was extremely clean, was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable., and the location was perfect. Everything was exactly as described. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a convenient stay in Durham.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Easy walk to Duke East Campus and 9th Street. Everything was exactly as described and Susan was very easy to work with.

We really enjoyed Bill's place. The house was very clean, and had plenty of supplies. The amenities were as described and the house was private and peaceful. Bill was very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We would 100% recommend this stay and hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Glenda’s Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The backyard was a huge bonus, perfect for our dogs to run around and enjoy. Glenda was a fantastic host, and we’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly stay!
