Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Douro River

This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

Amazing. A very nice weekend in the cottage. To mention a drawback, the dry bathroom is good for a couple of days, but for a long stay with the heat and that would be a little more annoying, it smelled a little. I missed some kitchenware in the kitchen, but it was good, the necessary for cooking and setting a table for two. Thank you Andrea.

It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. We had an amazing time at this lovely house! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to the river. What really stood out was the warm hospitality. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, offering great local tips and making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

After 3 days in Porto, on a whim we decided to spend a night in the Duoro Valley after many recommendations. We lucked out finding this beautiful Quinta for a one night stay and are so glad we did. It’s family run and they are very helpful and involved. It was cherry and loquat season when we arrived so we were able to pick straight from the tree and enjoy next to the pool along with a glass of wine and port that they make on the estate. The view is spectacular and the hospitality is outstanding. We highly recommend the wine tasting/tour and don’t miss the bread van every morning at 9:30 (you will know by the continuous horn at the gates) with fresh local bread and pastries you eat while overlooking the valley. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay at Joaos’s place. If you’re thinking about it, go it! The view was absolutely stunning! The place was super clean, well decorated with comfy furniture. The bed and linens were top quality. The host was very responsive. Hopefully we’ll be back one day! Highly recommended!!

We spent a week in Apúlia for a family vacation and it was absolutely wonderful! The beach house is located right by the ocean – the view is breathtaking, and the whole place has an amazing atmosphere. The house was very clean, well-equipped, and situated in a peaceful, quiet area away from the center of Apúlia. The host, Luis, welcomed us personally and gave us a tour of the house – a very warm and kind person. There were seven of us, even though the house is meant for six people, but Luis kindly arranged an extra bed for our teenager without any problem. The place has a unique charm – we spent hours on the terrace just watching the ocean, grilling fresh fish we bought in Apúlia, and enjoying the peace and quiet. We highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. We would love to come back! The beaches in the area are absolutely stunning. There’s also the Apulia Surf School in town, which we highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this Airbnb in Porto! The home was designed so beautifully, it gets such lovely natural light throughout the day, and the hosts were very hospitable about cookies, coffees, wine, etc. We already know that we will be staying at this location. The next time we come to Porto!

This place was fantastic. It has an amazing location with views of the river and town from every angle. The place was clean and the space was perfect for 2 couples wanting to explore the area. We really enjoyed our stay in Porto and would recommend staying her for the perfect getaway.

Best choice on our trip to León! Stayed three nights with my parents and we loved it. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with nice wooden furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed, even coffee makers. The terrace had a beautiful view, and we spent such peaceful time there. Although it's right in the center with lots of restaurants around, it's in a quiet street—super relaxing. Definitely I wanna be back to this place again!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The apt is in a great location with ocean and river views. We watched the sunset from the spacious and comfortable balcony daily. Luís has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. He gave a very thorough orientation and showed us where we could find all the necessities. Every area of the apt. is comfortable. Luís provided recommendations to local restaurants. He really takes pride in providing a comfortable place for his guests to stay and it shows in the presentation. We will certainly return to Luís’ place in the future.

A great choice if you’re looking for a very well located, clean apartment with good amenities & a view. We loved having the balcony and watching the goings on in Plaza Mayor - hen’s celebrations, proposals, holiday selfies & the general buzz really added to the atmosphere of the trip. Great hosts who were very helpful. Highly recommend.

The apartment is a delight from the moment you walk in. It is beautifully decorated and feels like a home. Great bathroom with amazing rain shower and hot water. Bedroom and kitchen and living areas are all well presented and equipped with all you need and with lots of additional touches. Very quiet for sleeping, and great air conditioning in bedroom and living area. Great location to explore Porto, and don’t even have to walk very far at all, including a great cafe next door, to find lovely eating places. Pedro was a wonderful host in every way.

Nuno was great and the place was in a fantastic location to explore Porto. We were able to walk to all our spots and very reasonably priced as well. Great deal!

Maria’s place is in a great location and it is the perfect place to stay in Madrid. It’s got everything you need, kitchen was fully stocked and bathroom too. Loved staying here, I will be back soon.

Incredible stay. It has a super nice studio, super clean, everything super tidy and you have everything you would have in your house. Both my parents and I felt right at home and that's not something that any accommodation can do. And Mireille and her husband are great, attentive and respond immediately to whatever you need. If I go back to Salamanca, I will definitely stay with them 100%

Our best Airbnb experience ever. The apartment is in a building on the perimeter of the historical center of Salamanca. Even though we were at walking distance from the all the main attractions of the center of the town, which can be very busy at times, the apartment is remarkably quiet and peaceful. From the living room we had a lovely view of the ancient Roman bridge and the green park of the river Tormes. The interior is new, very luxurious and of high quality and design. Faguguri provided the best possible level of comfort. The beds, the kitchen amenities and the elegant bathroom are of the highest quality. Faguguri is a fantastic host, very responsive and attentive. She even surprised us on the last day of our stay by personally driving us to the bus station for our return journey.

Hands down!! Best place ever! Vacationed in Barcelona, Ibiza and Madrid and this was our favorite ❤️ If I could give it 10 stars I would. The place was beautiful, modern and had a nice touch with some sweet treats left for us at check in. Thank you Jesus for responding so quickly to any questions we had.
