Vacation rentals with a balcony in Douro River

Luís was an amazing host and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. He was extremely responsive, and shared a lot of helpful information about Porto, including restaurant recommendations, suggested activities in Porto and must see historical locations around the city. His apartment exceeded our expectations with so many personal touches/decor that added to the ambiance. It’s also located in a great spot that is walking distance to a lot of fun areas in Porto. I would definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect … overlooking the river across from Porto. It’s convenient to the Don Luis bridge, making walking to Porto very manageable. Absolutely beautiful sunsets viewed right from the balcony

Great place to stay if you want to explore Porto and its surrounding area! The apartment is new and equipped with everything one may need. An added benefit is the garage. The host is always available in case of questions and super helpful - thanks a lot!

It was such a lovely place as the other reviewers have stated. Ana didn't skimp on amenities or welcoming gifts. What differentiated this Airbnb from any others was the personalized service that Ana and her team provided. Someone met me and took me into the apartment and showed me how everything worked. He took out a map and gave me lots of information about Porto. Ana answered immediately if I had a question but more than that, checked in and offered suggestions. For example, when it was raining for a couple of days, she sent suggestions for things to do on a rainy day. When I wanted a tour of a couple of outlying towns, she set it up with Rui who not only was an excellent guide, but was a wealth of information about the country. When the power went out in the whole country, Ana immediately started keeping track of how I was doing. I cannot express how safe and cared for I felt. Whether traveling alone or with a family, this is an excellent choice!

We had a lovely stay! The apartment is beautiful just like the photos and is spotless. The location is ideally located on a quiet street in the centre of Porto, within walking distance of all main attractions. We had issues with the code for the building not working, however Guest Ready responded within 20 minutes and sent someone to test the lock. They told us that the lock was working fine, but we never managed to get it to work for the whole stay ourselves and had to resort to using an alternative way to get into the building. Some outdoor seating for the balcony would have made the apartment even more perfect, but this didn’t take away from all the other good points making this a 5 star stay for us.

It’s a nice, quiet, clean place with a great view. There’s a lot of restaurants and activities around the area. I really recommend the place 😁

Very good house, easy access, the rooms and other compartments impeccable. Comfortable sheets. We slept very well! It's worth it, since in addition to the common areas, it also has games in a separate room. And the isolation of the place is also very good despite being one house next to the other, you can't hear anything outside. Good for listening to music and relaxing

We had an amazing stay at this villa for the weekend! The place is beautiful with the best view and although around 45 mins-1 hour from Porto, it was perfect. It had everything we needed and more and the host was super responsive and helped us with a later check out which was great. There is also a gorgeous family owned restaurant right by where the food and people were amazing! Would highly recommend and would 100% come back to this place!

As a family of 5 traveling with little kids we felt right at home! Although the restaurants and market are 5 mins or 1-2 miles from the house it’s not a walkable area. When exiting the house be careful because of the traffic on the highway. Very clean home and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Kids enjoyed the back yard and basketball goal and video games in the living room. We enjoyed the country scenery. Was able to get an Uber and have the same driver each trip to the market and restaurants. Uber trip from the house to local markets and restaurants is €3. Would stay here again! Family friendly! Lots of space! Adequate heating in the home!

Our stay was excellent! Elsa was over the top in every way! We had a gift of wine and custard tarts when we got there, Elsa arranged a reservation at an amazing restaurant and she responded quickly to any inquiry. Would definitely come back to this beautiful sanctuary.

We really liked the spaces and all the conditions, except the excess light in some rooms. Still, that detail didn't ruin the experience, which was fantastic. Communication with the host was quick and friendly, resolving the questions I presented. The price paid was clearly a positive factor, given all the conditions made available. Aconselho.

We spent 3 wonderful days in this house with our family! The house is very beautiful, well-equipped, with great quality utensils and everything we need for a comfortable stay. It was impeccably clean and organized. The outdoor space is excellent, especially for those traveling with children — safe, pleasant and well-maintained. In addition, there are river beaches nearby that are perfect for the little ones to have fun safely. The host was extremely thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay. We definitely recommend and look forward to coming back soon!
