Condo vacation rentals in Douro River

This place was super clean. kitchen well organized. Location was superb...close to the Se Cathedral and also the bridge. there are 4 bedrooms which is very hard to find. There was no street noise and the Views were great from the balcony and host was kind enough to provide complimentary port wine and cookies.

6 of us stayed 5 nights in Joana’s apartment last week. It was a perfect set up for two couples and two teenage kids. Joana is extremely responsive to any questions and even provided me with a product she doesn’t usually keep at the apartment that I asked about. She went over and above to make us feel comfortable and checked in during our stay to ensure everything was going smoothly. She met us on check-in and did a quick overview of Porto but was very cognizant of our having traveled overnight so tried to make it short. We went to 2 restaurants she recommended both of which were terrific. Having a washer (and dryer which you don’t always see in Europe) was great. We would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We really enjoyed staying here. Communication with the owner was quick, smooth, and a very warm and attentive person. The house is very well connected to the center of Madrid and with a €10 RENFE voucher, we have been able to and will be able to travel unlimitedly by train for a few months, which being on the outskirts did not mean so much expense in transportation. Everything is very clean and pleasant, equipped with everything you need, and in a quiet place. (as some commented, in one of the rooms there is no window, only in the other, but this was not a problem for us.) We would definitely repeat.

This was an absolutely amazing and beautiful location for ourselves and our friends to unwind and enjoy. Miles and Pilar are wonderful hosts, they welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine, which we enjoyed immensely while taking in the spectacular views from the rooftop terrace. Restaurants, shops and grocery stores were within walking distance, so we had options as to prepare meals in the well appointed kitchen or to dine out. Overall we had an outstanding experience and can’t recommend enough!

This apartment could not be better located and is exquisitely decorated. Such a great value for the nightly rate. After a little help from our host with the washer/dryer, our stay was seamless. Thanks again and we look forward to our return!!

Martha is a welcoming host and responds quickly and adequately. The apartment was ready to move in well in time. Great beds & bath linens. The location is nice and central to visit the city, definitely recommended. During our stay there was some noise during the day due to work on the square but that is something of a temporary nature. We had a great time here.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. We received extensive explanations about the area and the apartment. Nothing was too much. Plus were the 2 bikes we were allowed to use to visit the city of Porto. Owner is very attentive and helpful. Should we wish to visit Porto again, we will definitely take this accommodation again!

We had a great time staying in O Grove! Great location with close access to everything you need. Pablo was great at communicating beforehand and even when we accidentally locked ourselves out was super speedy to get someone else to let us in. The apartment was great for our needs. It had everything we needed and we really loved using the rooftop that had a great 360 view! We had a good experience and definitely recommend staying here! Overall would recommend

Apartment located in a quiet area, no noise and a 15-minute walk from the Aqueduct. It has no elevator, but it is easy to climb. It has a spectacular view of the sunset from its balcony. Alicia was attentive to the arrival at all times and the entrance was easy and accessible. He left a folder in the living room with very detailed information about restaurants, places to visit in the city and surroundings, etc.

Spacious and comfortable apartment in a great location in Madrid

We had an amazing stay, the apartment was lovely and location fantastic!

The place is very functional and beautiful, you have a very beautiful view and Pilar was very helpful with all the details. We regret that the pool was not enabled, it was very hot and it looked very attractive to cool off.

Santiago is an amazing host—kind, attentive, and always available when needed. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. The space is small, but cozy and inviting, with a warm, homely feel. All the pretty plants made it feel like a genuine home rather than one of those impersonal apartments with plastic decor. It’s also very clean and well-maintained. Oh and the bed is super comfy! If I could give him 6 stars, I would! Highly recommended 100%!

What can I say, everything was fantastic...it felt like home! Eva is very helpful, she fulfilled all my requests. When she came to check in, she brought candy for our three children. Whenever I wrote to her on WhatsApp, I was answered immediately. If I return to Madrid, Eva's house will be my point of reference... also because the subway under the house is priceless! I highly recommend this place!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

A very spacious apartment with good amenities and a large terrace overlooking the cathedral. We especially liked the location, as you could reach a lot on foot. The car was safely in the underground parking.

Santi’s apartment is one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. It is impeccable in its modern, efficient design, and we appreciate how clean it is. It has fast internet and smart TV, and Santi pays attention to details. We would stay here again, because Santi is a fabulous host with a fabulous apartment. Two Train stations are walking distance and using the Halo makes it easy to access Urzaiz Train Station located in the mall. The Halo is an engineering marvel. We try to stay in Airbnb’s that are guests favorites in the top 5%. Santi’s apartment is worthy of being in the top 1%.

The apartment is just as described in the app, with spacious rooms, outdoor areas and very well equipped both in the kitchenware, as well as in the bathrooms or rooms. The terrace is excellent and very well equipped for dining or just relaxing with the views it has. Just one thing, you need a car to go down to the center or have good legs 🦵since there is a lot of slope. Montse, the owner, extraordinary service.

The apartment is very beautiful and in a great central area. We went everywhere by foot. The communication with Daniel was perfect, he is very nice and responded quickly. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Ila de Arousa is a beautiful place. lots of easy walks. good supermarkets. Kitchen well appointed to make our first home cooked meals of the trip. view from dining room surpassing any restaurant. would recommend this location for a restful break.
