Our apartment in the Sierra de Madrid is located at the entrance of Mataelpino, a small town shared with Cerceda and El Boalo. It is a separate apartment located on the same property as our house. It has a living room, kitchen, and dining room that is heated in winter with a fireplace, and a bedroom with a bathroom. In the room, there is a mobile electric radiator. In summer it is very cool as it is largely built into the rock. The apartment has an independent and exclusive garden area that is fenced where there is a barbecue, a table and chairs and some garden chairs to enjoy the sunsets. It is a quiet area surrounded by nature with many paths and routes to walk and disconnect. We'll be happy to make your stay as pleasant as possible and available to help you with any questions you may have about our accommodation.

Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

The holiday bungalow (approx. 70 m²) is located on an estate with a renovated, antique mansion house near Aveiro (25 km), Porto (50 km) and Coimbra (65 km). For the guests of this bungalow, there are three terraces: a small terrace bordered by hedges, another large terrace with barbecue and seating and a roof terrace from which, depending on the weather, you can see the sea in the distance. The 5000 m² lower garden has footpaths, countless trees, shrubs and a fish pond.

The Casas are the result of the restoration in 2022 of the building of the old Correio-mor, the first postal service in Portugal, created in 1520 by King D. Manuel.

There is also the possibility of staying with two children under 12 years old, on a sofa bed. It is a guest house located within the plot where the owners' house is. It consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room with a kitchenette and a bathroom. The garden, barbecue and pool are for the common use of guests and owners, but we respect the privacy of our tenants. For work reasons we are practically not at home throughout the day. Inside the house you CANNOT smoke and pets are NOT accepted without previously consulting with the owners

The guest space consists of a 35-m² loft and a terrace of about 12 m², separated from ours by a partition. Furniture and objects re/created by us coexist with original artwork and travel mementos. Cotton sheets, real towels, homemade soap, multiple lighting options, and other details make all the difference. You just need to bring your food: everything else is at hand. And the common areas are full of nooks and crannies to explore…
