Vacation rentals with beach access in De Fryske Marren

We really had a wonderful relaxing weekend with Anne and Paul. Incredibly friendly welcome, beautiful accommodation and especially wonderful beds. Really a weekend to relax and unwind. We had bad luck because the bike rental was unexpectedly closed but we were allowed to borrow the bikes from Anne and Paul for 2 days, super nice. You can make beautiful trips to the beach, or to Bolsward or Harlingen. I can recommend it to everyone.

A great place, very nice central location and yet quiet. We enjoyed the roof terrace very much. Lots of cute cafes and boutiques in the neighborhood. Beach and harbor within walking distance. I'm sure we'll be back!

We had a really nice stay with great views and a cozy, private balcony with evening sun. The decor is very tasteful and modern, the apartment is clean and well-maintained, the hosts are very friendly and make really delicious ice cream 😉 We will be happy to come back!

Jan-Warner's apartment in one word: great! A bright, light-flooded, tasteful, modern, furnished apartment. Of course, everything was clean and functional. For example, we have never found such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation apartment. The whole apartment is furnished with a sense of detail. But the location surpasses everything! Right on the Sneeker Meer, on the corner of Princess Margret Canal and Starter Eiland. And in the apartment or on the terrace, an unobstructed view of the colorful hustle and bustle of the sailing and motor boats, as well as the commercial shipping. Even in bad weather, it was never boring with this view. Beautiful tours through the Frisian villages and lakes are possible by bike in the immediate vicinity. Sneek itself is just 15-20 minutes by bike.

We stayed in Hindeloopen during a weekend trip and booked a room with Sharino. The amenities were great, everything you needed was available and also super clean. We were also provided with a baby cot on request. Sharino was always easily accessible and gave us a detailed description of how to reach the apartment. Although it was in the attic it was superbly insulated, we did not notice anything from the heat. We're already considering whether we'll book next year. Although it is minimally located outside, you can still reach the harbor in five minutes by car. It's incredibly quiet for that.

We had two wonderful days in the most beautiful weather in a great location. Tamara is very warm and available at any time. Parking in front of the door and completely uncomplicated check-in. The apartment is very clean and you have a great view of the sea. Thanks, Tamara, for the nice break with my loved ones 🥰

The apartment has a great location! The surroundings are quiet and you have many excursion possibilities. We felt very comfortable and missed almost nothing. (Except a hairdryer) The highlight is the view of the water and the small garden!

Great place right on the Canal. The house is superbly equipped – there is really everything you need for a comfortable stay. The quiet location in the residential area is particularly pleasant, ideal for relaxing. Upstairs it can get quite warm due to the sunlight, which is still completely fine in May. However, it could get much hotter in high summer. The host Aukje was easily accessible at all times and responded quickly and kindly to messages. You can walk to Lemmer in about 20 minutes, and you can reach the sea in just five minutes by car. Overall a highly recommended place to stay! We will be happy to come back!

Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay in the beautiful house of George and Irene was simply wonderful! Three generations have found the perfect place to stay. The house is comfortably furnished and offers a quiet location, yet close to the beach and shops. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast on the terrace, where we were surrounded by breathtaking nature and could watch many geese, rabbits and other animals. Very nice location and a beautiful spacious house. It is only a short walk to the nearest sailboat rental and the view from the house was great! Glad the kitchen was complete with herbs and oil. Communication with host was quick and efficient. Definitely worth the repetition!

What a wonderful place! The house is spacious and light. Nice living room with spacious dining table. We enjoyed the sunny terrace on the waterfront. Everything in the house is available for a comfortable stay. Nothing was missing. Dishwasher blocks, towels, made beds, coffee cups, everything was there. Children could subboard from home (sub brought by themselves). We rented a sloop in the area. We will definitely come back!

We had a very relaxing stay with six plus dog. The location of the house is very quiet and really beautiful - several times we were lucky enough to admire an enchanting sunset over the lake. Within walking distance, we were several times at the small harbor and were able to relax there. Several small villages are easily accessible by bike, by car we were in various places of the IJsselmeer and in Sneek - all super cute! The house itself is spacious and optimally divided with a ground floor bedroom with its own bathroom but separate toilet that can be used by everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, although we would have liked a regular coffee machine in addition. The combination oven/microwave is super convenient. Big compliment too😉: Finally an apartment with enough hangers!

We had a great time in this beautiful house right on the water! The location is simply fantastic – you can look directly at the water from every room. The house is very modern, stylish and designed with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen has a lot of kitchen appliances and spices. In general, nothing was missing. A small note for those with pollen allergies: There is a lot of nature in the area, which is beautiful – but it is advisable to have allergy medication with you if you are sensitive. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the house!

We had a wonderful time at Connie's lovely stay. The cottage is brightly quiet, lots of privacy, near the beach on IJselmeer. A beautiful environment, nice lunch at the Strandhuijs.

The apartment Zwaluw has a very nice view from the large balcony. Hosts were very accommodating, friendly, concerned about our well-being and warm. For longer stays, bed linens and towels were exchanged and residual waste disposed of. Thus highly recommended. Gladly again, best regards, Sabine and Andreas.

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

The hosts Gjis and Sophie were very sweet. If we had any questions, they were immediately available and the location was great. Free parking was right outside the door and also a Spar right next door. The beach was a few minutes' walk away. In the immediate vicinity were also restaurants. Quick access to the highway. The apartment left nothing to be desired in terms of amenities and was lovingly furnished. It was also great that you could connect your smartphone or similar multimedia devices directly to the TV. All in all a nice place and we would definitely come back! Julia and Tommy

We (3 sisters) enjoyed the nice, friendly welcome, clean cottage with nice beds. We were allowed to park the car on the premises for a few days while we cycled the 11 city tours. Which was a reassuring thought for us.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Stavoren. Sietske & Henk's apartment is just beautiful and exactly as it appears in the photos. Clearly a lot of thought was put into this apartment. It was very clean, tastefully decorated and had everything you could ask for. The location was also amazing. Close to the station and bars/restaurants but also quiet and private. I had the pleasure of meeting Sietske several times and also shared a drink. She is a very warm and welcoming host. I would definitely stay here again when I'm next in Stavoren. 🥰

Absolutely beautiful and spacious place to stay right at the harbour in the heart of the old town of Urk We loved it and could have stayed much longer-felt like home

Super central located in the beautiful Urk. It was only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the idyllic sailing harbor with very nice restaurants. We had everything we needed in the apartment. Thank you so much for the beautiful welcome and the hospitality to Jans
