Had a lovely weekend in a nice house. Kitchen is well equipped. It looks neat and is clean.

We stayed at the place for two great nights. The location is great, as you are right in the city. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and very clean. You could use the hot tub and sauna as long as you want, which is a great plus. Communication was also smooth and super friendly. We highly recommend the place. :-)

We absolutely loved this house in Joure. It is great for a family to play inside and out. We loved the hot tub! Atsje was an amazing host and we very much enjoyed looking after the family cat Bing who is adorable! The town of Joure is beautiful and we had a great holiday 😊

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

We were in the house as a family with two small children and it was well suited for that. The house is cozy and tastefully decorated, and also the equipment was good (children's travel cot, children's dishes, children's chairs, etc.). A highlight was the hot tub (video monitored). The meadow was freshly mowed and there was cozy garden furniture. If you asked about heating the hot tub, the hosts were immediately available to us via Airbnb message with their friendly help. One thing we would have to note were the ants on the first floor (ant bait expired since 2021) and a few dust mice in the upper bedrooms, which we were able to remove ourselves due to the existing vacuum cleaner. However, the bedding was invitingly fresh, and there were plenty of fresh towels (welded). Common kitchen equipment such as salt, pepper, coffee pods and baking paper were unfortunately not available. Overall, however, the quiet house was highly recommended.

Justus & Heleen's house is absolutely fantastic, the photos don't do it justice as it is larger and better equipped than described. Extremely comfortable and for us ideally situated being only 10 minutes drive from the Medemblik Regatta Center where we were sailing. The area is peaceful, and local supermarkets excellent as well as a local restaurant serving good food. We will be back soon!

Very nice house with beautiful location on the waterfront. Neatly maintained. The house is equipped with all comforts! As well as a sauna, ... Host Eric is very helpful and is very happy to help if we have a question.

Our group had a very great time at this lovely accommodation. The location directly by the water was relaxing and offered beautiful views. The house was clean, well-equipped, and comfortably furnished. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly. We’d definitely consider coming back.

Perfect House with all facilities on the water, had a wonderful fishing weekend.

Very nice space. Glad there are separate rooms where you can retreat for a while when you are with a group. Room/apartments are nicely decorated and well equipped. The bed cities are also very nice. The amenities are really great. For example, we used the jacuzzi, sauna and the BBQ. The area is beautiful. Were awakened with a view of the woods. And lots of parking.

If you want to stay overnight in the Plattenland, this is absolutely recommended. The description already indicated that it is “back to the basics” staying overnight, so you should definitely take that into account. The chalets are simple but cozy, with a kitchenette, water heater with tap water and heating for a pleasant temperature. The plumbing is in a shared space, and while it is not luxurious, everything is functional with simple showers and toilets. The absolute highlight? Each chalet has its own jacuzzi with views over the country. You can also make your own campfire, although you have to arrange wood yourself. The only thing to take into account is that the chalets are next to each other and the path to the shared sanitary facilities runs along the chalets. So there is no complete privacy and tranquility. But that doesn't take away from this great experience of staying “on the farm”, where you wake up in the morning with a view over the countryside and the day starts in your own jacuzzi

Very clean and quiet place. The bed was very cozy and the kitchen had everything you need for a cozy BBQ. The grill, fire pit and hot tub were easy to use and enriched our vacation. We highly recommend it!

Some cottages are just cottages. And some are silences in which you find words. This was one of them. Received with two beers. No welcome folder with rules, but a lighter at the hot tub and a feeling of: "you are exactly right as you arrive here." The view? Horses. Grass. Breath. The smell? Wood fire. Coffee. Spicy memories of last night. The vibe? Between flights and coming home. I came here to write. To be alone. And to close a chapter. Mission accomplished. Gelmer and Nienke have built something that is right. Not because it's big, but because it's the right size. Every detail feels like it's been chosen with care, from the record player to the bed in which I actually slept like a man without deadlines. Tip for the next guest: bring something you can let go of. And if you do pick up a book... maybe something will come online soon that I have something to do with myself 😇📖 Thanks for the peace, the space, the two beers. Thijs

Great host and very cozy place to stay. We even extended the stay by 1 extra day and would love to come back one day.

The property was amazing, in a very beautiful village with peaceful scenery. The hosts provided us with free bicycles which we used in the mornings to visit nearby villages. We used the hot tub twice and sauna once, which was worth it and very enjoyable. The hot tub and sauna was for our private use and we had full privacy. The only small problem we had was that there were no restroom on the 2nd floor where the sleeping room was. Other than that we definitely recommend the property.

We had a lovely stay at Effeniks's! In retrospect, we secretly regret that we hadn't booked much longer. The hot tub with large wide views, exactly where the sun goes down, is wonderful. The cottage is beautiful, clean and equipped with every comfort. Really a place to relax and get out of the daily hustle and bustle.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house right on the waterfront! The property offers exceptional space and is superbly equipped – ideal for larger groups. We were received in a very friendly manner and immediately felt at home. Particularly practical was also the possibility to easily rent a boat right in front of the house. Our entire group was thrilled, and we'd love to come back. We can highly recommend this house to any group looking for plenty of space and comfort!
