Edinburgh is 20 minutes drive or you can use Prestonpans train station to get to the city (10 min). Perfect location for golfing with Gullane, North Berwick, Reneisannce, archerfield, Craigielaw, Kilspindie and Longniddry on doorstep or pop to St Andrew in around 90 min (drive) Glenkinchie whisky distillery is also local to pop up to for a tour (10 min). 1 x dbl bed & 1 x dbl sofa bed

Super charming apartment with a view of the sea. We spent 4 days with the extended family there, and had lots of space in the three bedrooms and the beautiful living room. The kitchen was fine, we cooked every day. You can feel that Gina cares for the apartment, it’s very cozy and welcoming. Travel to Edinburgh or North Berwick by public transport is also essy if you don’t have a car.

It was lovely 5 nights stay we had. The host was very responsive and made sure that our stay was comfortable. Pros: Great location, a lot of toys and activities for our little one (She loved the stay so much that she did not want to return home), lots of activities to do in the park- both for kids and adults, had almost everything you need during a holiday. Cons: the sofas were not clean and had a lot of animal hair on them, the coffee machine was not working and some extra bedding like an additional blanket could have made the stay a bit more comfortable. In short, to summarise- it’s a “HOME AWAY FROM HOME”.

Fisherman's Flat Overlooking the Firth Of Forth

The Fisherman's cottage is a great accommodation. The hosts are welcoming (thanks for the cookies, milk, tea, coffee), and the cottage has stunning views over the Firth of Forth. We even saw some porpoises from our bedroom window. The cottage is located in a lovely village, not far from Edinburgh and close to several nice villages along the coast. We highly recommend this place!

This is our third time staying at Caroline's place so goes without saying that we love it here. Caroline is a warm and considerate host, always checkin in whether we are comfortable and if we need anything. The accommodation is in the lap of nature with greenery everywhere. All in all a gr8 place to spend a few days amidst peace n nature.

We stayed here to watch family members doing the Edinburgh marathon and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed and location-wise. The children loved the pool and playground and proximity to the beach was ideal. The caravan was cosy and had everything we needed! Thanks so much!
