Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Civitella in Val di Chiana

We had a perfect break in Lorenza’s lovely house. It was extremely spacious and exceptionally clean. The garden is beautiful and well maintained with lots of areas to sit in and enjoy the peaceful environment. Our dogs loved their walks in the woods nearby and they enjoyed meeting all the feline residents! Lorenza and her husband are a lovely friendly couple who have put a lot of thought into ensuring their guests have a great holiday.

What a wonderful experience! The description of the home was excelled by the reality. It was very clean and tastefully decorated — Anna has an eye for design and art. the three bedrooms easily accommodated us. The large patio with its charming table and vine screened roof was a charming place to enjoy our morning cappuccino. the home is situated in a agricultural community built in 1788, situated in extensive vineyards. The buildings have been thoroughly renovated into a series of private homes. The community contained renters like us, but also young communities and older retirees. We had a chance to get to know people in the neighborhood, who were uniformly friendly. the AirBnB is about 25 minutes away from Arezzo by car. The best place to park we found was in the short term parking at the train station. From there it was just a short walk to the Old Town. Anna was a wonderful and charming host. We recommend this property highly!

Great flat to explore Cortona! Excellent location and had everything you need

Saverio is a very friendly host, who also warmly greets you upon arrival. The house is clean and equipped with facilities. The view is breathtaking and in the area there is a lot to see and beautiful places can be reached within an hour's drive. Saverio also has a restaurant on the lake of Trasimeno where you can eat wonderfully. In short, a fantastic place to relax and unwind.

Very nice and spacious place. It was very easy to communicate and arrange everything with our hosts. We would recommend this Abnb to everyone who is coming to this part of Italy.

Raffaella deserves an extra star on the reviews. She is a wonderful host, very welcoming and very responsive. She went out of her way to make dinner reservations for us, at two wonderful restaurants - both in walking distance from her airbnb. The apartment was quiet, clean, with beautiful views. We did a lovely bike ride from town and enjoyed the beauty and quiet at Raffaella’s place. And her regional breakfast was such a treat!!! We hope to come back!

Norma was an absolute treasure, and her home and family were lovely. The property sits overlooking a lovely castle and a beautiful church with great views on the other side. The property has a great pool with plenty of privacy or interaction with the family, I only wish I spoke more Italian to be able to sit and chat with her lovely in-laws! Norma offered great recommendations for day trips, and overall the local area was great to explore. My only advice would be the usual: rent a smaller car to make life easier! Sitting on the patio overlooking the castle, with a glass of wine, is a memory we will never forget, and is highly recommended. Whether during the day or after the sun has gone down and the fireflies comes out (weather permitting) it's a Tuscan treat you won't want to miss. We truly felt like a part of the family and would love to return to her home the next time we come back. Truly a wonderful experience!

We loved our stay. The host was amazing, and the house had everything we needed. The internet was very fast and supported my work requirements back in the USA. Most GORGEOUS location, the view is exactly what it is and the cottage area is so cute. We were here for a wedding in a Cortona and it was the perfect setting. Definitely need a car for this area as well. Alessandra is very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend having breakfast or a meal outside to admire the view. There are bugs around but as goes for most of this region during the summer so highly recommend bug spray if you walk around outside. Our only note is the musty sheets but perhaps it was a quick change after the last guests.

The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, making it an ideal choice for a long and pleasant stay. The combination of stunning landscapes, cozy interiors, and thoughtful amenities made our experience truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this agriturismo to anyone seeking a serene and romantic getaway in Tuscany.

We have traveled and used Airbnb for several years and had good hosts, but NO ONE compares to Simone. He is the best we have ever worked with!!He was extremely communicative, kind, specific, helpful and timely. His details about how to find the place were on point. He left fresh fruit, water, milk, coffee/tea which was just what we needed. The rental was spotless and all was in working order. He helped with making a reservation for wine tasting which was awesome. We had an amazing time!!

I was here for a long-term stay of 5 weeks. Vittorino's apartment was very comfortable, as the living room + kitchen + bathroom were all nice-sized. It was also a very peaceful apartment, sound-wise. Since the location is "sotto i portici", it was very easy to walk everywhere. Vittorino was always just a telephone call away if needed. I highly recommend Vittorino's apartment. Thank You!

The appartment was full of character, there was plenty of space in every room, and we spent hours with a wine or two on the balcony taking in the wonderfully beautiful view. The location was a perfect balance of proximity to the action and quiet privacy. Easily the best of the 5 places we stayed in around Europe this year.

If you are seeking a bit of Tuscan heaven... this might be the place for you!  The family owners are caring, thoughtful & engaging.  They are proud to share this family built & adored home with guests from all over the world.  It is bright, clean & full of charm.  It is as much a retreat as the setting it sits in.  We felt right at home among the beautiful olive trees, bird songs & children at play.  Casa Bonari is a place to return to again & again for respite, joy & simplicity. It is sweetly etched upon our hearts.

Paola’s place was an incredible getaway for the two of us - we played fetch with Nilde in the garden, had a night where Paola taught us to make pasta and tiramisu, and enjoyed the best sunsets. If you get a chance, definitely check out Osteria Alla Villa for dinner. We will definitely be back! Thank you Paola for the hospitality and making our first trip to Tuscany so special.

We stayed for 5 night and enjoyed this large, well appointed two story apartment. The place was warm and inviting and was an authentic home to be a unique setting. My family enjoyed the surroundings and there was plenty of restaurants to close from. Be prepared to tackle the 52 steps to the apartment door which my 90 year old mother managed twice a day. Keeps you healthy.

What a lovely spot to stay! The rental is quite large, with a spacious downstairs and a nice bedroom upstairs, and the views are amazing. It is located in a gorgeous part of Tuscany. Hosts were friendly. I especially appreciated the hot tub!

Very pleasant stay in the historic center of Chiusdino, a great place to visit the beautiful area. Apartment clean and equipped with everything you need. Franca is very helpful and proactive. Recommended.

Everything was great. Arezzo was convenient to Florence by train and Siena by car. Loft was as described, very comfortable. Well equipped. Fabio was very responsive to my questions prior to the stay. Arezzo is a nice town for restaurants and just walking around. Very easy walk to the train station. One thing to keep in mind - not a negative but be aware. The loft is located on a hill in Arezzo. Lots of hilly walking back to the loft. Very walkable and doable, but if you have mobility issues just be aware.

This was truly one of the most unique and inspiring stays we’ve experienced. Bianca’s warm hospitality and thoughtful communication made us feel right at home. The farmhouse itself was incredibly comfortable—cozy, well-appointed, and full of charm. And the scenery? Absolutely breathtaking. Every view felt like a painting.

Elisa's house is in a quiet area and a stone's throw from Arezzo Fiere. Spacious, tidy and very clean house. Flexible hours through self check-in. The host always responded to us in a very short time. Recommended!

This was by far the most beautiful view we have ever had at an Airbnb or hotel room. The house was beautiful, but the sunrise from the balcony is something I will remember forever. Vittorio also offered recommendations, and Fulvia was flexible with our check in. The apartment is in the perfect spot to become familiar with town. We want to come back to stay here again. My husband and I adored the tranquility of this stay. Our host Oscar was so proactive, responsive, and helpful. We are so grateful for the kind acts of service Oscar and his team extended towards us. I have Celiac and they took into serious consideration ways to prevent cross contamination and made sure that there were options available for me. Their restaurant was likely the best food that we’ve tasted throughout our stay in Italy! The lobby is filled with its aroma of fresh herbs being cooked. We also adored the little furry friends that would hand around our porch! He had a team of people who would take us to and from the nearest train station and were extremely flexible! The stay is up a mountain so we were so thankful there was someone skilled enough to drive us up and down! Oscar, thank you for everything! We definitely plan to visit again and strongly recommend that anyone stay at your accommodation for peace, tranquility, and amazing food!
