Beautifully furnished, very well equipped, homely and comfortable. Beds, linen, towels, kitchen equipment etc all top notch.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Ambleside. The ongoing updates and instructions were really appreciated and a great help. You couldn't get a more central base and even though slightly noisy later on in the evening the music stopped as if instructed to do so. Well worth the visit and hopefully sooner rather than later we'll return for another vist.

Photos don’t do this house justice, it’s so lovely! Loved the log burner and fully stocked kitchen (including basics e.g tea / coffee). Comfy beds and sofas and great location too (5 min walk in town centre). Parking is off street, couple mins walk from the house, so not too bad. Would definitely visit again!

Very comfortable place to stay for our Lakes break. Everything was as described, and Gwen and Mark were very helpful and accommodating. The back garden was a bit too tricky for our nonagenarian to navigate, but would otherwise have been a lovely spot to sit out in the afternoon sun.

The check in and check out instruction are clear, easy to get into. The location is great. Convenient to stores and restaurants. Parking slot is available. House is clean. Equipped with almost everything you need. I would strongly recommended this apartment for a family of 4 or 5.

We thoroughly enjoyed the two nights we stayed at this location. It was a shame there was no outside sitting area as the weather was fabulous.

Had a fantastic girly weekend at Robs place. We arrived early and Rob kindly allowed is to check in few hours before the actual check in time. The house was very clean and perfect for exploring the local area on foot as everything was accessible. Will definitely return if we come to the lake district again. Thanks Rob for a fab stay!!!

The Annex was lovely ! It was a spot me and my friends all enjoyed. We were visiting a friend who lives more in the centre of Kendal , so the Annex was a really good location as we only needed to walk 20-15 minutes to get into town. It is also very reasonable priced considering all the amenities you get (the ensuite bathrooms being my favourite )

The accommodation is very well-situated, with easy access to the M6 motorway and various attractions in the Lake District. Shops and restaurants are conveniently located nearby. The self check-in process was straightforward, with clear instructions provided by the host, who was both friendly and responsive. The house itself was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. A minor drawback was that the top-floor bedroom got a bit too warm during hot weather, though the ground-floor bedroom stayed pleasantly cool. Decent value for money too. I would happily stay again.

Absolutely delightful and charming property. Very comfortable and well equipped with the added benefit of being ideally situated close to Bowness town centre. The owners were very communicative and responded rapidly to questions. Thoroughly recommended!

We enjoyed a lovely peaceful stay. It was great to have the lakes and fells right on our doorstep. With the Pheasant Inn just across the road it was nice and easy to walk for a pint in the beer garden on a sunny day. Thanks for having us.

Wonderful place, lots of space for 5 of us. Great location. Lots of good places to eat - the Butter End pub is great. So is Shills of Cockermouth. As well as all the independent coffee shops. My only wish is it had recycling bins.

Tony was a great host! We went to Kendal for a very casual getaway and the BnB was in an amazing location. Tony was really friendly, helpful and even had lovely breakfast items prepared for us. The bedroom was cosy and we felt right at home. thank you so much for having us!

The property was just as described. We would definitely book to stay here again should the need arise. In terms of location, the property is close to supermarkets, the station, the castle and the M6, plus it only takes minutes to walk to the centre of Penrith

The house was excellent in every respect - clean, modern and well-equipped. It was located in a quiet street but within a very short distance of the town. Of particular note is that it provided off-street parking a few metres from the front door. It is clear from the comments in the Guest Book that our complimentary views were shared by large numbers of other guests,

David is such a lovely man and very helpful. His home is big, bright and beautiful. The bedroom is large, well equipped and super comfortable and it is very private. I had a desk to work from and an electric heater was handy when it got slightly chilly. Having a second room filled with chairs and a multitude of teas, coffees and chocolate biscuits was fabulous. The bathroom was spotless and having access to the kitchen was a huge deal. I didn't do much cooking but being able to store things in the fridge, warm up my homemade stew and eat with Dave's utensils was very useful. I had a couple of lovely conversations with David too. All in all, a truly fabulous place to stay and so much better than a hotel. Great base if you want to go into the Lakes or need to do things in the area - right next to the bus station and not far from the train station either. Thoroughly recommended and I'd go back in a shot.

Wow what a beautiful house, lovey location within walking distance to local shops, very relaxing stay, house is equipped with everything you need. We were very lucky with the weather on our visit. Our dog loved the enclosed garden, would definitely recommend this house to stay if you are visiting the area it is so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful.

Hannah was welcoming, friendly and really helpful yet not intrusive - a perfect host. It's a short and easy walk into town, everything was clean and tidy, and better than described in the listing in many respects. It felt like staying with a friend of a friend, an exemplary AirBnB.
