Vacation rentals with breakfast in City of Carlisle

Lovely place just outside Dumfires. It is located on a quite street, but easily accessible. The place is nice and spacious - better than how it looks in the photos. Ann is super friendly and responsive and has stocked the place with all essentials including basic groceries (butter, milk, break, juice).

We loved our stay with Patricia and Allen, they were very kind and helpful, letting us keep our bikes inside the house, and spotting us when we arrived in the village early and inviting us over. They also recommended a local pub in the next village for dinner which was walkable and served great food, as their local pub isn't serving food at the moment. The room was cosy, the bed was comfy, and they served a fabulous cooked breakfast. We would highly recommend staying at their place!

We were very warmly welcomed by Sandy, who was a fantastic host, making sure we had everything we needed and also serving an excellent breakfast. Sandy's home is really beautiful - a real treat to stay in. The pillows were super comfy too, so we had a great nights sleep. We most definitely recommend it. Thank you Sandy

The apartment is great and very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a good stay. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed walks to the lakes and also to trails which can be accessed from the from the front door.

Perfect stay for our recent trip to the Lake District for a charity walk. Beautiful cottage with everything we could need and lots of communication from the host to make sure the stay and check in was smooth! A beautiful retreat in a beautiful part of the world. A great place for a meeting amongst friends. Plenty of space, extra blankets for cold nights and a fire to keep warm. An amazing authentic experiences which was loved by all of us. This was a place to remember. Thanks.

Lovely apartment booked for my sister in law visiting from the US. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable, easy parking and the perfect location for us. She was very pleased that we found her such a great place to stay and is hoping to return! I would definitely book Sophia's place again for visitors to Hexham...or maybe just for myself!! we know the area fairly well, and our usual place wasn't available on the dates we needed. this was perfect for our stay. The fluffy towels and great shower were lovely. basic supplies provided, and a chocolate cake :-) Bed is very comfortable too, we slept extremely well The local pub was recommended, The Stag Inn, Dufton and we had already booked ahead, for our first meal. (sirloin steak and corned beef and onion pie) We had a roast in The Mason's Arms in Long Marton on Sunday evening with our friends and it was delicious. 2 years since our last meal in there and it lived up to our expectations. we would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay in the Buttermere Suite. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the location was perfect. Walking distance to the lake, shops and great restaurants. The fridge in the room was a great addition for storing snacks and drinks and was replenished daily with a fresh bottle of milk and orange juice. Check in and check out was easy and the parking permit was a definite bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for a great weekend.

Amazing apartment, looked exactly like the pictures and had everything I needed for my stay. Was in a quiet location and within walking distance of local shops and the train station. The complimentary breakfast at Jay's cafe was delicious everyday. I would definitely stay in this apartment again if I am ever back in the area and would recommend to friends and family.

A lovely place about 25 min drive from Windermere (I got a cab there). The house itself if an old farmhouse with an authentic feel. Within walking distance of the village of Hawkshead. Paul knows many pubs/restaurants and cafes in the area and is very helpful in finding places for eats, etc in the area. A lovely stay just b4 New Year’s Eve. Great value. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Jacquie and David’s AirBnB! Both were incredibly personable, friendly, and welcoming! It really felt like staying with old friends. The rooms were spotless, cosy, and full of charm, and the breakfast was absolutely spot on; a perfect way to start each day. The area is stunning too, peaceful and picturesque with lots to explore nearby. Their warmth and hospitality made our visit truly memorable. Would definitely stay again!

Thank you Sarah for my stay was so great to meet you. I had exactly what I needed a relaxing break away! I stayed two nights and did activity locally so this was perfect, day two I relaxed and had best bath and most amazing sleep in this huge bed. Not to mention how brilliant breakfast was… whole table set up just for me wow 5 star service :)

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

Ambleside and the location of the accommodation were excellent. Andy was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast set me up for a big day out. Dietary requirements were easily met withour any fuss. The room was comfortable and cosy.

Wendy and Tony were fantastic hosts, and they made us feel totally at home. The location is so special, right on the Cumbria Way. We are so grateful for all the extra help - notably a request for porridge for breakfast before a race I had, and helping me to dry out my shoes afterwards!

Great stay in Mark's lovely home, very close to kielder observatory. really friendly hosts and gorgeous border collie! easy to find with helpful instructions and gorgeous surroundings- would definitely stay again

Rachel and John greeted us on our arrival and made us very welcome. wonderfully friendly people with a beautiful house where our rooms were exquisite they were clean and brilliantly furnished. The breakfast was fantastic lots to choose from and delicious. They recommended Ellendale brewery for a meal and again wonderful. I would recommend Rachel's place to anyone.

Our stay at Rob & Becky’s was lovely! A great location, very close to buses and the train station. The room itself was very tidy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also wonderful and a great way to start a day of exploring the area.
