Cottage vacation rentals in Central Illinois

Our family loved our stay here! It was perfect for a mixture of ages (ranging from newborn to 15years old). Everyone was able to enjoy the space, the kids loved the pool, we enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the deck overlooking the pool. The house was comfortable, it felt familiar, my husband said the decor defitnely reminded of his childhood. The home is perfect to enjoy with family and friends or to lay back and relax on a rainy day.

Beautiful inside and out. It was incredibly clean and stocked with the little things. The cottage was secluded and yet walkable to drop our canoe. We fished and biked too! Great little shed with a lock. The screened in porch makes the whole place brighter and a perfect view of the full moon that night! Would love to know more about the history of the building. We ate carry out from The Wagon Wheel. The food and staff were fantastic! There was a full kitchen and charcoal grill at the cottage but we were too excited to get outside 🤣 Our red heeler also enjoyed the trip! We would love to rent it again!

This is our second time staying at this Airbnb! We could not recommend it enough if you plan to come to Hermann. I would suggest booking early because it does fill up fast! We had such a good time. Also, make sure to come prepared with snacks etc. There is also no cell service but good WiFi!

We had a lovely stay. it's super cute, private, and quiet. we will definitely book again. there are 13 other cabins to chose from. We also enjoyed the town and near by venues. Cool place❣️

Justin’s place was the perfect hideaway! So beautiful and very peaceful. There was enough room for the kids to play, variety of sports in the gym! Would rent again for sure… might even do it again next year!

Everything went smooth and the cottage was nice

This is an excellent Airbnb at a truly special location, nestled between two valleys. It was serene and peaceful. We saw tons of birds that I would never see how I been in the middle of the city. They insured that the house was completely immaculate. The beds were very, very comfortable. I never made any contact with the neighbors, but they all seemed really nice! I spotted some wild turkey a few deer and of course the groundhog! The place has a lot of style and some really cool features. We really enjoyed our stay and we’re very grateful for the host!

We loved this house! It was a great place for our family, with everything we needed, including a couple of baby gates to help us corral our three year old and little doggie. Such a charming home with a beautiful little fenced in yard in a peaceful, friendly neighborhood, close to Glen Oak Park and all its fun activities. The hostess was always friendly and responsive to our online questions and made check in and check out a breeze.

The place was great! The name is very appropriate cause it was so cozy!!! We didnt use alof of the amenities cause we were only there for the weekend but overall we loved it! We brought our dogs and they had a blast in the backyard!

We love Innsbrook and always have a good time. We liked this house, but I will put out there as a warning, that the walk down to the dock is VERY steep and may not be the best option for little kids or older guests. The stay was great, but we definitely needed to take caution when walking down the steep walkway to the dock. We were told that repairs are coming for the wood walkway, so we were happy to hear that for future guests.

Mark is a wonderful host- he has made lots of little touches to make sure the cottage feels cozy and homey. As previous reviews mentioned, there were a few fresh groceries supplied for our stay (which was a touching surprise, even though I read about it in the reviews!) and the bathroom linen closet was also stocked with a few essentials- which came in handy when we forgot something. The space was very clean and comfortable. It’s clear that Mark takes a lot of pride in the upkeep of the cottage! He was also very communicative and responsive. We’re hoping for an opportunity to come back.

The place was clean and cozy! The house was filled with nice touches, including end tables and convenient plug ins for phones, etc. Very close to the park and all of the Big Things in a Small Town.

Always my first choice (see prev reviews) Consummate host eg how often do you see a coffee maker 'preloaded' w a fresh filter, ready to go? :) Peets whole bean to grind, milk, half & half, OJ, cold & hot cereal, yogurt, fresh berries. This time, cherries, that made me feel like a piece of MI was there to welcome me! No matter the weather, the home is flooded w natural light & loved the sound of the rain, that came at night this time. Michael (& Paris) Thank you again !!

Amy’s cottage was perfect for our one night in the area while attending a wedding. It was very cozy and adorably decorated. The bathroom had any possible item you may have forgotten on your trip. Very easy to find with clear instructions!

This place was perfect for our family. Having a washer and dryer is a must for our active life. It is always nice when children are truly welcomed as they were with Rachel.

JJ and Sherri are fantastic hosts! We look forward to staying with them again!
