Vacation rentals with a home theater in Cape Town

It was a beautiful places for the family. Its literally right by the beach, playground, miniature golf, restaurant's, caffees, and little shops. If one, doesn't have a car, there is a train in walking distance, that stops in every little town. The neighborhood is clean and friendly, we never felt unsafe. The view from the window is breathtaking, mountains and the beach. The sun does not shine right onto the side of the house and it does get a bit cold, but there were many blankets provided. We had a fantastic time. If more families stay, I would recommended plastic plates and cups for kids, as I personally was always afraid of breaking the nice ceramics. For longer staying guests, I wish an extra sheet for the bed would be provided, to change sheets after a while. Enough towels were provided. All in all totally recommenable.

Wir waren 4 Wochen bei Peter und haben eine schöne Zeit hier verbracht. Wunserschöner grosser Garten. Guter Standort um Ausflüge in alle Richtungen zu machen. Peter war jederzeit da wenn wir Fragen oder etwas bräuchten. Wir würden wieder kommen .

I would definitely recommend this airbnb to anyone playing on going to cape town and staying on the city center area. The balcony makes all the difference - it’s spectacular. We couldn't ask for a better view on beautiful Table Mountain. The apartment was spotless and well fitted with everything you need and beautifully decorated. Many restaurants and shops in the area as well and an easy enough drive to Cape Town. Wendy was a responsive host and provided additional information and weather updates. We will book it again!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist einfach fantastisch. Man geht raus und ist mitten in der Stadt. Das Haus bietet viele Annehmlichkeiten, die ich gerne genutzt habe. So konnte ich in den Arbeits- und Ruhezonen bequem arbeiten. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Dachterrasse. Dort kann man bei einem guten Getränk den Sonnuntergang mit Blick auf den Tafelberg genießen. Denise war immer gut erreichbar und hat schnell geantwortet. Ich komme gerne wieder!

A perfect summer getaway! Right in the middle of vibe-y holiday-makers and beach goers and yet still secluded and chilled. The apartment is beautifully decorated, we were entranced! And the fact that it’s a stone’s throw away from some of the city’s most beautiful beaches, 2 ice-cream shops and the most delicious smash-burgers we’ve ever had…we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible place. Location was so close to everything and in the heart of the action — can walk to everything! I’ll be staying here again when I come back.

Luke’s place was absolutely stunning! He showed us around the house and had great tips for us about the area. The house was wonderful and super kid friendly. Luke left us pool towels and toys for the kids as well which was very nice. The house is extremely spacious and the outdoor area and pool was a delight. Juliet his housekeeper and Nanny was a wonderful lady and looked after us and the children very well. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here and highly recommend the house. Wonderful hosts and immaculate house. Great location too in proximity to malls, grocery stores and restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful experience

This venue is the cleanest-whites, safest , modern place, with squirrels eating infront of you in a beautiful maintained garden , birds. we have a lovely stay at Katie's place. We are a big family and had lots of space to spread out and enjoy our stay. There is a lot to keep everyone entertained. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

We needed a peaceful family get away. Melkbos Lodge was perfect for us. Dirk was helpful. Location was great. We are a big family of adults and this suited us. Lots to do at the house. pool and table tennis table. pool table, and the beach and sunsets fantastic. Suggestion: Umbrella for beach and beach chairs would be a good investment. Also a list of activities to do around Melkbos and Blauberg. We hope to visit again some time.

Adele and Bevan were incredible hosts. The property is safe, secure and immaculately clean. It’s perfectly located for the winelands and actually, the property itself exceeded our expectations - it has more perks and amenities than the pictures show. As hosts go, we couldn’t recommend Adele and Bevan more, who also helped my family out in an emergency, going out of their way to assist us. Would highly recommend the property to a small family or couples looking for a safe and secure base to rest during their visit to Cape Town.

Ein tolles Haus an guter Lage. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war top. Er war für Check-In und Check-Out vor Ort und auch sonst für Fragen/Probleme sofort verfügbar. Den einzigen Abzug in der Bewertung muss ich für die Zimmer im Obergeschoss geben. Erstens führt der Zugang über eine sehr schmale und sehr steile Wendeltreppe und zweitens kann im Einzelzimmer die Türe nicht ganz geöffnet werden, da das Zimmer sehr klein ist, und das Bett die Türe blockiert. Dies sind jedoch die einzigen Kritikpunkte. Ansonsten kann ich das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Das Haus ist ein eine absolutes Strand-Traumhaus. Die Lage mit dem Blick auf das offene Meer und dem Geräusch der Wellen hat etwas magisches. Die Gegen ist sehr sicher und man kann in wenigen Minuten zu den Pinguinen spazieren oder vor dem Haus schnorcheln oder schwimmen gehen. Für Ausflüge zum Kap der guten Hoffnung ist es perfekt gelegen und ebenfalls um in einer der viele nahegelegenen Städten zu bummeln, ins cafe zu gehen oder andere Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Das Haus hat auch einen malerischen Garten sodass man ebenfalls einfach dort draussen das Wetter genießen kann.

SPECTACULAR! A diamond in a slice of heaven. We are already booking to come back and stay later this year. Jitesh is an amazing host and made us feel right at home. His beautiful apartment in Dolphin Beach is just wonderful - with real plants, a filtered water system, and a fully stocked kitchen. The views are what make life worth living. To fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean was bliss. PLUS Jitesh's WiFi is SUPER FAST AND works during loadshedding so the apartment is perfect if you are working from home between kite sessions! Jitesh was really communicative, very welcoming, and not only did we have a fabulous stay, but we made a new friend! This is definitely one of my top 5 ever Airbnb experiences. I cannot recommend Jitesh's home enough. We miss it already!

I had a great 8 week stay in this apartment. Have been using Airbnb for more than 10 years and Natalie was the friendliest and most helpful ever. Great host! Because I have visited the area several times, I'm self relient, but if I had needed anything, it was very clear that I could count on her for local advise and help. The place is compact, but just right for 1 or 2 people. Can not think of a single negative thing to mention. In 8 weeks I never heard the neighbors and saw them maybe 4 times, but if you want there are plenty people to meet in the pool, garden, or on the beach. With the windows open, because of the sea breeze, it never gets uncomfortably warm, in the day or night. (unlike other places in Cape Town) This is the best kite spot in the area (and in the world if you ask me) And here it's right in your back yard. Plenty of Shopping and restay at walking distance, but I recommend renting a car, for ultimate convenience.
