This area has had tremendous cosmetic investment by the organising committee of the world cup, as it is positioned on walking route to the stadium that is popular for sporting fixtures and concerts. Whether you are wanting to indulge in Cape Town sight-seeing, sample the best of Cape Town cuisine, relax in a fashionable coffee shop, cocktail bar or browse the historical cobble stoned district, you will not need to stroll far from your front door. We are 30 mins drive from the Cape Winelands, 20 mins from the airport, 10 minutes from Camps Bay beach, 5 minutes from the Table Mountain cableway, and the CBD, V&A Waterfront, Convention Centre is in walking distance. Only one block away, The Cape Quarter newly restored heritage site, is home to some of the city's best restaurants, bars, boutiques, coffee shops, museums and piazza entertainment - set amongst the quaint cobbled stoned tree lined avenues of the historical Cape Malay area. Camps Bay Beach is a 10 min drive and the cable car to the top of Table Mountain is also a 10 min drive. Guests access the entire apartment, private balcony, shared swimming pool and barbecue area, reception area and resident's parking garage accessed directly from the lift. I do not live on the premises. In most cases I make use of the Airbnb self check-in facility because I prepare for guests in the morning and live too far away to be able to return to the city for late check in times. I am however constantly available on message and phone for enquiries and conversation. De Waterkant is a hip neighbourhood full of restaurants, cafes, and museums. Venture out to Bo Kaap nearby and explore its cobblestone streets, green spaces, and rooftop lounges. Both areas are within walking distance of the city centre.

We are not able to accommodate children The first level (ground floor level of the villa)consists of the cosy decorated lounge with flat screen TV, a dining area and the fully equipped little kitchen which can be separated from the lounge by an artfully painted sliding door. A small terrace invites you to sit outside for breakfast or sundowners. From the lounge a staircase leads downstairs to the basement with it's bedroom, a passage to the bathroom(shower only)and the dressing room. The King size bed can be separated and configured into single beds. Our guests are invited to sit in the beautifully landscaped garden on their own terrace with sun loungers and side table or enjoy the big swimming pool . From here stunning views over the whole bay and the surrounding mountains as well as spectacular sunsets will delight your senses. We respect the privacy of our guests yet we enjoy to extend hospitality and the feeling of home from home .We are available under the same roof to advise,support,recommend and help our guests to make their stay a memorable one. Camps Bay offers restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping, and different beaches. It has been officially declared the safest area of Cape Town, due to privately organised street patrols and security companies. The beach is a 15-minute walk away. MyCity bus stop is circa 400m away on Geneva Drive with one route clockwise and another anticlockwise to transport visitors either to town or downhill to the Promenade . Wander through this stunning, bright townhouse and absorb design inspiration from its eclectic touches. Prepare a meal on the BBQ grill, take a swim in the pool, and light the fire pit while enjoying the sunset with family and friends. 11 The Retreat is only a 3 minute leisurely walk from the famous Camps Bay beach and restaurants. The house is spread over 3 levels. A 3 car private and lockable garage on the first, main living area inside and outside on the second level and bedrooms and bathrooms on the top and 3rd level. All levels are accessible by stairs and is therefore not wheelchair friendly or will not suit guests with walking difficulty. Accommodation is made up of 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Toilets are not separate but there is an additional guest loo on the second level. The house has a small private swimming pool, fire pit and gas barbecue. Pick n pay and a great variety of restaurants are just a short walk away. The property was newly renovated in 2015 and refurnished October 2016. For the duration of your stay, you will have access to the entire home. I am phone call away to assist with anything you may need during your stay. Enjoy security and serenity in the amazing neighborhood of Camps Bay. Stroll for just three minutes to the beach or enjoy the restaurant hub and local shops. Exploring beyond the area is easy with easy access to Cape Town and surrounding areas. We can also assist with airport transfers and all other traveling requirements. Should you wish for us to shop for you and stock the fridge and pantry before your arrival, we can do that too at an additional service fee.

The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

It is a comfy, light and open space where you will be spoilt with a view, the perfect location to relax and unwind either by yourself , partner or friends. I offer my full 2 bedroom aparmtent, and have full access to the apartments amenities. As a guest you will have full access to the entire apartment and access to a parking bay. Make yourself at home and enjoy my home. As I have mentioned I am moving overseas but have decide to keep my home on Airbnb, however I will still stay in contact with you regarding booking, questions and queries. I have arranged that someone will meet you to let you in and if you need any personal help on your visit The apartment is on the vibrant busy and ever-changing Greenmarket Square. Within a few blocks is a food lover's market for groceries, as well as infamous Long Street which is skirted with bars, coffee shops, and nightlife. One block away is the city sightseeing stop and office. Long Street and Adderley Street has multiple MyCiti Bus stops, 4 blocks away is the Cape Town Train station for buses and trains. Ther are cab services around where I can give you a number for or Uber is really convenient way to get around.
