We had a wonderful stay with Marelize and Dawie! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The unit was perfect, spacious and the fireplace was a big bonus for us. The location is absolutely perfect and ideal for anyone wanting to visit Franschhoek and all the surrounding wine farms. 100% would recommend!

This is near the end of a cul de sac, where you can walk along the wildlife reserve and down to the beach. It is a quiet spot and a spacious, romantic house. Wonderfully kitted out kitchen, comfortable bed with new linens, and a lovely outdoor table and couch. You can also walk to all the restaurants and cafes from here. The garden is open to the sky with trees and succulents. There's no sea view from the patio but the birds and privacy make up for it, and I enjoyed many walks to the beach and hours spent on the patio to eat and write. Great coffee pot as well!

Yolanda and Jean were so kind and welcoming! We were warmly welcomed by Jean who showed us around the property. We absolutely loved the large kitchen where we were able to cook and eat a delicious meal. It is such a unique space and very homey. We also had a great view of the mountains which was so peaceful. We wish we could have stayed longer to talk with Yolanda and Jean more and would absolutely come back again!

Wonderful stay here on the farm. Close enough to enjoy all the busy-ness that Franschhoek has to offer, yet serene enough to be able to relax. Looked forward to lighting the fire in the evenings. Well equipped, a beautiful farm, will stay again!

Such a lovely spot to spend the weekend with friends. We celebrated my husband's birthday this weekend and I needed a mixer to mix the icing for his cake. Lynne brought one right over. Two of the three couples had small children and the rooms provided ample room for all the little one's cots. The garden is GORGEOUS! We had an incredible time at Obiekwa.

One of the highlights of our visit was lighting a fire in the evening and watching the sunset dip behind the mountains—absolutely magical. Chanél is a wonderful host! Upon arrival I was welcomed with a bunch of beautiful flowers she had picked from her garden with a ‘Happy Birthday’ card attached. The attention to detail throughout the booking process, arrival and stay, left a lasting impression! The property is stunning - a truly charming oasis of tranquility. We booked for a winter stay but would love to experience this space in summer. A perfect getaway to rest, reflect and leave reenergized.

Absolute perfection for our weekend getaway! This cottage is the ideal size, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully & tastefully furnished with every amenity you could need. We absolutely loved cozying up by the fire. The beautiful surroundings and views are incredible, and Riebeek-Kasteel itself is an awesome town. Couldn't recommend it more highly for a couple - thanks for a wonderful stay, MG and I loved it!

Wonderful place, we wish we’d stay longer! Ideal for 3 couples. You get everything you can imagine for a perfect stay. But extra - very nice pool, we used even though it was a bit chilly. There are also few hot jacuzzi’s, but we did not find time for them. Beautiful gardens with local fauna. Unbelievable view on vineyards, we enjoyed both during sunset and sunrise. Host provides everything needed for grilling. Lots of recommendations from host on places to visit. Definitely recommend staying here!

Words can't express enough how amazing this place was for our family. Both the kids loved it and we're sad to leave, it really felt like home and our oldest asked if we could buy the place. The house was the perfect location to get to everywhere we wanted to visit. The house is set up with everything you need, and we'll stocked for toddlers in regards to plates, cutlery, drinking cups. The whole family loved this place, we hadn't realised before booking SA that it is thier winter time but living in hot Kenya this gave us a little taste of the UK and autumn time and we appreciated it more. Lovely evening at the Wednesday market, eating at the Toad and having lovely pancakes from pancake man on the market was a great ending to our stay. We would love to come back some day and explore more of SA, this place is definitely on the top 3 of best stays!

It was a pleasure staying at Riaan’s place over the weekend. The fireplace made it super cosy. They have such a beautiful space with amazing views and is very well located to main roads between Stellenbosch and Cape Town.

We loved staying at Carin’s place. The Rondawel stole our hearts, and Carin was very helpful in placing us in another cottage when we extended our stay. She gave the best tips and we truly had a blast staying here. The pool was very refreshing and the dogs always welcome you with a cuddle. Also the wine tasting with Johan was much fun. We’d love to come back again!

A truly peaceful and beautiful little gem nestled between the beautiful Stellenbosch mountains. Leonard and Valeria are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. I would love to spend more time here in the future, two days was not enough to enjoy the beautiful home and surroundings.

Our trip was made all the more special by our stay in Carol's beautiful home. It was full of wonderful art and artifacts and staying there was one of the highlights of our holiday. We all enjoyed the big, comfortable rooms, the lovely outside dining areas and appreciated all the amenities. The kids loved the sparkling pool and expansive, attractive garden. Carol was so friendly and relaxed and made us feel so welcome. We would wholeheartedly recommend their spot and hope we can stay there again in the near future.

We really enjoyed our stay in this little cabin. Loved the enormous garden with squirrels and the fireplace. Would definitely recommend and we hope to come back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, but I wish I had booked a longer one. I will be coming back. Louise is an awesome host. Very friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and luxurious stay, I highly recommend it.

We can't say enough good things about Hope Cottage in Constantia. It was absolutely perfect. Lucia is a joy and a great source of information about local restaurants and activities. She has thought of everything from the smallest details to making sure we were well taken care of. The cottage is stunningly designed. We did not want to leave.

We have just returned home from a fabulous 2 and a half week stay with Helen. The cottage met, even exceeded all our expectations in every well. It had everything we needed and had plenty of space. This was very useful if we decided to eat in or bbq, it was extremely clean and we were very well looked after by Helen's absolute gem of an employee Claudio. His ironing skills are legendary! Both Helen and Claudio constantly made sure we had everything we needed and all our requests were met extremely quickly and without hesitation. I was running the 2 Oceans and Helen took the effort to wish me before the race and to follow up post race. It really did feel like a home away from home

We stayed with a group of friends and our kids and had a lovely time! The weather was terrible so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside spaces of the house or the playground, but it was still cosy by the fire and plenty of space. We would love to come back in summer as the pool, jacuzzi, and hot tub look great. Thanks for having us.
