Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

1 East Kyloe Cottage

Escape to the Northumberland coast for big skies and magnificent beaches. This comfortable 3 bedroom cottage is situated on a working farm, with St Cuthbert’s, St Oswald’s and the Sandstone way passing through. With Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed nearby there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. After a day of exploring, return to the cottage to relax and unwind in front of the wood burning stove. Secure storage of bikes and kayaks can be available on request.

The Blacksmith’s Shop

Newly converted detached cottage (which was historically the Blacksmith’s shop) situated on our working farm. Adults only, one king sized bedroom with bath, shower room and open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The perfect place to explore the hills, castles and beaches of north Northumberland. There are plenty of walks, enabling you to see the sheep and cows close by and an abundance of wildlife on the farm. A very quiet and peaceful location, yet close enough to St. Abb's Head National Nature Reserve and the award winning Coldingham Bay. Edinburgh, an hour away, famous for its castle and festivals.

The cottage is blessed with wonderful views and is bathed in morning light. For colder months my home is cosy with central heating and a wood burning stove; perfect to relax in front of after exploring the island .
