Newly converted stable block

Victoria.Stanhope@Hotmail.ComRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a lovely comfortable place to stay -- really nice set up with two bedrooms on either side and a living room and dining area in between. The patio area looks out over her garden - with roses cascading everywhere -- it is delightful. Claire could not have been more friendly and helpful. Definitely would visit again -- good for the gardens, vineyards and historic houses that are all around.

Peaceful location and gardens, v cosy little place. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, visiting the village and nearby areas; the reservoir, Sissinghurst and Hastings. James and Sarah were very responsive to our questions and requests.

Rural Garden studio in area of natural beauty

BelindaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I have stayed with Elizabeth several times before and as always she is a welcoming host, any little problems and she is quick to deal with them. The property is quirky, with slopping roof, kitchen has a combination cooker and airfryer. Fresh eggs are supplied from the free range chickens and ducks. It is in the countryside and at places the roads are single carriage way with passing places, so no rally racing.

Amy paid attention to detail in the accommodation which was noticed throughout and had lots of extra things for children within which helped a lot as we stayed with our 2 girls. We were very pleased with our stay and would happily stay again!

Barons Granary, The Bull Pen, Iden nr Rye

NicholaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It’s all been said before but… it was beautifully presented (top quality fittings, furniture etc), everything thought through for convenience and leisure… it’s like walking through the door to a warm hug! Also the bathroom is luxurious - have stayed in a few nice hotels but never had a roll-top bath ‘experience’ as good as here! The little outdoor area is an absolute haven and looks onto beautiful rolling fields (view that can also be enjoyed from the sofa if it’s drizzly). We were visiting family but I would have been happy to have spent a more time at the property relaxing with a good book etc. Can’t recommend highly enough - Joanna works very hard, but makes it look easy by being so relaxed and welcoming in her manner.

Converted forge with hot tub

SarahRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Nicola and Mathews place is stunning. I felt at home right away and our privacy was fully respected. The place is spotlessly clean and very well loved, it has a lovely aura about it too. The garden in which The Forge sits is well maintained with pretty flowers and the hot tub is huge! On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the biscuits, tea, coffee and breakfast goodies left for us for the morning, not to mention the Prosecco and crisps. The bed is so comfortable and the shower has a fab water pressure. The pub up the road sells delicious food and would highly recommend. Overall I feel very blessed to have had the chance to stay there. Hope to stay again! Best wishes, Sarah and Sam xx

Herne Bay The Nook

Eve was a lovely host and her cottage was exactly what we needed for our New Year getaway. The fireplace and heaters ensured it was always cozy, and the property was located a stone’s throw from the beaches and train station too. We would 100% come back and stay again. Thank you to Eve and her adorable dog Moon!

Log cabin lakeside retreat in private grounds

AnnabelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The lodge was excellent, really spacious and had a lovely rustic feel. The kitchen was very well equipped and the little welcome pack was appreciated. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. The location by the side of the owners property was very nice - in amongst the trees, with gorgeous views of the lake and there was plenty of garden to enjoy in the sunshine. Moreover though it was access to the lake that made the weekend. We enjoyed wild swimming, the kayaks and yoga by the lake. It's a really beautiful spot and less than ten minutes to the beach too. Shawn was a lovely host too. I would highly recommend this place. We went with another couple but we'd love to return with the children.

Charming oast house retreat

JanetRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We’d spent the day in Rye walking down to the harbour then arrived in this most beautiful Oast house with a fabulous garden - just like the photos. Had a very relaxed, peaceful evening and comfortable night then walked by an easy footpath to Bodiam castle in the morning. Every comfort had been provided with lovely personal touches. Thank you Helbecia.

Great place to chill

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I was working on the Isle of Sheppey and was looking for somewhere to stay rather than a hotel room. Mark's place was great, really easy to reach and everywhere was within a short drive away. It was really quiet and comfortable, a great place to relax after work.

Studio 102

SebastianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The location of this beautiful listing is idyllic. I was only here for one evening while away for work, I was made to feel at home immediately by the farm dog (Ash). You’ll tire out far before he does while playing fetch. The peace and tranquility of the farm is so pleasant to be around. I was fortunate to have good weather and enjoyed a long cycle around the county. The farm eggs were very welcomed and I purchased more to support local. If you find yourself in the area, you’ll struggle immensely to find something more beautiful and well valued. I’ll certainly be back in the future.
