Peaceful and cosy with stunning views of the sea, our wooden lodge is a special place in a picturesque part of the Roseland in southern Cornwall. Perfectly located for walking, admiring stunning coastlines and fantastic food, the lodge is close to the pretty village of Portscatho and 15 miles from Truro. Guests have free access to the beautiful pool, small gym, sauna and jacuzzi onsite. Just 15 mins walk to a beautiful, dog-friendly beach too! We now have a a smart PAYG EV charging point too!

The cottage is located opposite the Standard Inn, perfect for those end of day sundowners. 300 meter walk to the beach and local shops. One small dog allowed downstairs. Not to be on furniture or left alone in the property.

There are stunning views from all the front rooms and outdoor sitting areas. The whole house is available to rent and sleeps up to 8 people. Note that although the house is a bungalow, there are steps up from the road to access it. No pets please.

One small note, there is a beer garden nearby, it's rare, but there can be noise. Normally only an issue if you're trying to sleep with the windows open.

Simply paradise.

Firefly is in the heart of the beautiful village of St Mawes, in the prettiest street. B &B without the B because there are lots of choices for breakfast (lunch and dinner too!) on the doorstep. In a quiet secluded location, set back from the action, but close to the sea for that early morning dip, the beach for a sunset picnic and the ferries for a change of scene in Falmouth. Life at its simplest. Come and enjoy.

It's ideal for a couple who want a convenient location, with free parking, good restaurants and pubs nearby. St.Mawes has local shops, two bakeries, a deli, seafood on the harbour, boutiques and amenities. It has easy links to Falmouth by foot ferry (weather dependent) and by car on the King Harry Ferry.
