Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Belize

The views from the back veranda were epic, like something out of a movie! The house is private and peaceful with plenty of space to spread out. It was great to have the pool to cool off after a day out exploring. Morning coffee while birdwatching was our favorite, there was a pair of toucans that frequented. The true gem of this house is Consuelo, her kindness and hospitality left such a positive impression. Consuelo cooked us an amazing Belizean meal served right out on the veranda. We would definitely stay here again!

Super nice answered all my questions, location was the main attraction to Me. Walking distance to everything (lots of restaurants, drugstore and beach). Can’t wait to go back in January!!👍🏼👍🏼

We had an ac go out and it was REPLACED within a couple of hours!!! Lots of communication and very peaceful!!

This is a very well priced lodging for what you get. I appreciate the coffee supplies provided by the host. We also chose this one for the ability to do our laundry and having Air conditioning.

Extremely close to the airport which is convenient. Quiet in the evenings, and had enough space. Recommend renting bikes to get back and forth from the rest of the island, it's about 10 minutes of riding to get to the main tourist areas. Would stay again

We had an amazing time at Birdhouses, Lucrecia and Luis are some of the nicest hosts I have ever met! Lucrecia helped us in organizing taxis from the airport, having those logistics in place took a lot of weight off us for this trip. She also has plenty of recommendations for things to do on the island. Make sure you you take the bikes around, you can always find something fun to do They were amazing, we will definitely be back!

We loved our stay! Four of us were in San Ignacio for a friends trip and Terry's house was spacious, nicely appointed, and perfect for us. The pool was clean, a lovely temperature and great for hanging out at all hours. There were pool floats available, two hammocks, and ample seating in multiple hang out areas. The backyard is full of trees and shrubs and we enjoyed birdwatching from the deck. Instructions to the house and lockbox were thorough and it was very nice to have a covered parking space. Terry lives next door and was available to us for suggestions for a taxi driver for our night out, as well as providing us with much appreciated snacks and goodies for our stay. The bedrooms were clean, the beds and bedding comfortable, and AC worked well. Definitely recommended especially for friend groups and families. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed at Laura’s Place so that we could explore Placencia for our honeymoon. Laura was helpful prior to arrival, flexible & accommodating with check-in, & always available for help while still providing privacy & making it feel as if the property was our place for our stay. The bnb was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with supplies too. The air conditioner was a much needed reprieve from the heat & overall we had a wonderful stay.

This stay was even more beautiful than the photos! The property was exactly as advertised, and very, very clean, with every amenity you would need for a comfortable stay. Leda and Laura were our hosts, and were extremely helpful in recommending tours and transportation. It was a little far from town (a 25-ish minute walk down a main road), but taxis are easy to flag down and affordable. Would highly recommend this property!!

This was my was my second time staying at the beautiful apartment. It is home away from home. Safe environment, comfortable and on the beach. It was a great pleasure. I cannot wait to return.

Sunset Studio was the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Located just steps from shops and restaurants, yet just far enough away from the bustle of the main street to truly relax with ocean views. We loved the private sunset deck, great space for morning yoga session, and the friendly dogs and cat that made it feel like home. The complimentary bikes and kayaks made exploring easy. Some minor noise from a nearby barge dock and finishing construction next door, but nothing that disrupted our stay. A great spot for animal lovers looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway.

The host was very responsive, very easy check in, had all the amenities we needed and Windy welcomed us when we got there. Close to good restaurants. Thank you!

Luz and Dale were amazing. Luz showed me all the hot spots and picked me up at the airport. Dale has a small store of apparel and sunglasses that I purchased from. They been there all their lives and definitely pointed me in the right direction. Thanks guys.

If we ever decide to come back to visit Belize, this will be our choice to stay. The comfy cabin Is at the very end of the island. It was peaceful and being able to sit out on the dock every morning watching the local fisherman go by and as well as sunsets it’s the perfect place to get away and relax. Very close to town by either bicycle or golf cart. We enjoyed our time very much.

This Airbnb was the perfect home base for our time in San Pedro, Belize. The location couldn’t be better — it’s centrally located and within walking distance to everything you could need on the island. Having private parking was a huge plus! The host was incredibly attentive and responsive, always available with quick replies and fantastic local recommendations that made our trip even more memorable. One of the best touches was the complimentary airport/ferry pickup — such a thoughtful and convenient perk. The stay itself was very private and peaceful, and we loved the charming breakfast spot attached right in front of the Airbnb. There were also tons of great food options nearby, from restaurants to local food stands. If I ever return to San Pedro, there’s no doubt I’ll be booking this place again. Highly recommended!

I can not rave about this place enough. From our amazing host, Leila, who was so responsive and incredibly helpful before and during our stay. To the very peaceful location with all the amenities, the delicious food at the restaurant with amazing staff, and all staff onsite. I would recommend this Airbnb over and over again.

We had a wonderful stay at Popeyes Beach Condo hosted by Snezhana. The private rooftop patio with hammocks was a peaceful retreat—perfect for relaxing in both sun and shade. The location is ideal, close to everything yet still tranquil. The condo was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, and we especially appreciated having a fridge, safe, strong A/C, and a reliable fan. The staff was kind and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience, great vibes—we’d love to return!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay! It was super clean and comfortable and the resort itself is so peaceful and serene. During our stay none of the other casitas were booked so we felt we had an ideal amount of privacy. The one thing i’d say is that the casita has very sheer curtains that face the other casitas so if there had been other guests / families staying there i don’t think it would have been as private. Not a big deal but a potential consideration for travelers looking for more privacy. Also, i’d recommend arriving before sun down because the road to get to the casita is dark/remote. All in all would 1000% come back!

The highlight of our stay was Rafael, the caretaker. He greeted us on arrival and gave a full walk-through of the condo, showing us how to use everything and offering tips on where to eat, shop and explore. His insight into local culture and customs was invaluable, especially for first-time visitors. He even followed up after our night out and checked to make sure we made it home safely. The condo itself was spotless and fully stocked, with beach towels (a huge bonus), a kitchen ready for cooking and comfy beds with more pillows than Martha Stewart would dare use. The pool was crystal clear, the neighbors were friendly and secure parking was available for our golf cart. The TV included local cable and popular streaming apps. From start to finish, Rafael made us feel like family. His warmth, thoughtfulness and attention to detail turned a great stay into an unforgettable one. Every Airbnb should be this welcoming.

I had an amazing 10 star experience here - the condo had everything I needed for a very comfortable month-long stay. I felt right at home and very safe. SA, the owner, was very proactive with communication and provided so much helpful info (how to get fresh juice and local meat delivered, which days to visit the produce stands, duty free at the airport, etc). Emma and Edwin, the caretakers, are so friendly and are always available to help. Beyond spending your days on the beach, you can book numerous tours to keep you occupied (scuba, snorkel, cave tubing, Mayan ruins, ziplining, etc). I spent a lot of time just chillin' on the beautiful porch watching the gorgeous sunsets with a Belikin in-hand. If you rent a golf cart or bike, you can easily be in the heart of the town in 5-7 minutes with access to wonderful restaurants, markets and shops. I can't wait to come back when SA is also in town because she'd be a very cool person to hang out with!

My first time booking an Airbnb, and let me tell you. It was wonderful! It felt like home away from home. The location appeared to be just as depicted online. Mariah had some things on hand in case you needed them, such as sunscreen, a cooler, etc. Very thoughtful. Mariah has set the standard for future Airbnb hosts in terms of bookings. At first, I considered booking the Grand Caribe. So glad I chose Sunset Caribe: the name says it all. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Truly an exquisite gem. Definitely will come back

We enjoyed our stay, the place was between Secret Beach and downtown San Pedro which was perfect. The host was responsive and flexible with us for our checkout. We would stay here again!
