Bungalow vacation rentals in Belize

This place is absolutely a hidden gem, located away from the hustle & bustle - which my husband and I found really appealing. It felt like being on a private beach! The host, Angel, was absolutely amazing, and provided everything we could need and went above and beyond (coconut water on the beach, always checking in when we saw him, kept the beach area on the property pristine). So long as you are up for longer cart rides, you will not be sorry you booked at North Beach. We highly recommend staying here, and we hope to be back.

This stay here was perfect. It was better than the pics. I thought that a place with a matching red fridge and microwave was really cool. Sergio our super friendly maintenance man was just spot on. We had a little issue with the septic system and Sergio immediately sprung into action digging up the pipe that the palm roots did their thing to and fixed the problem immediately. Everyone involved with this property was awesome. As well as their recommended services like Marvin from Leo’s car rental, just up the street, was extremely accommodating and helpful. The Seabrook's home is so comfortable, you have all the comforts of your own home all you need to bring is your personal belonging and groceries. The house was clean and ready for my visit. Enjoyed the ability to utilize Jaguar Reef's amenities and Hopkins is a warm and welcoming village. Rob reached out to me when I arrived and again after I left to make sure all was well. Rosie who manages the house in Hopkins was great and took good care of me. Looking forward in my return visit soon.

We were in one of Laurene's 2 bungalows on the beach. The location was perfect. The bungalow was simple but had everything we needed. We don't like large resorts so we were very happy at Laurene's place, located in Hopkins. Hopkins is a small town on the coast of Belize. There are a number of small cabanas and motels among local residences. There are many small, good restaurants. There are several businesses on the one main street that offer snorkeling, scuba, and rainforest tours. There are 3 grocery stores in town and several street vendors of fresh fruit and vegetables. South of Hokins, there are 2 large resorts, which we never saw because we did not have a car. When the wind is not blowing, the water is like a lake, just delightful for swimming.

Nicks place was fantastic! Just far enough from town to be quiet but close enough to jump on the gold cart and ride into town. The place is exactly as it says in the description. It’s not fancy like a resort but it’s clean, good a/c and has a great view of the sunrise. They were there to great is as we pulled up and walked us through the place and gave us some local recommendations for restaurants. I do want to mention that we had a little issue with the laundry lock at 9:30pm the night before we left. Property management was very responsive and had someone out there with in about 15 minutes to fix it so we could do our laundry before we left the next day. Great o stall experience. What a wonderful vacation! Having La Rontonda as our home base was perfect! Not only did the house/pool/beach exceed all expectations, we were just a short, fun golf cart away from the village. We loved knowing Reuben and Mariza were available when we needed them but had their home far enough away that we still felt very private, the gate was nice also! A golf cart made every journey into town an adventure, would highly recommend Captain Jacks for the golf cart rental. The private beach was wonderful, we felt like we were on our very own on island. Thank you so much Rene for your quick responses to my many questions! We give La Rotonda 5 stars!

Wasn't sure what to expect booking an AirBNB 70km from mainland Belize on short notice after finding out that both resorts at my dream dive destination were totally booked out. I was thinking it would be rustic. But instead arrived to find hot and cold running water (a luxury on this island) with a shower and flush toilet (the main resort uses composting methods, love the eco vibes but having a hot shower and a fresh environment between dives is a huge plus working in Mark's Favour). Name dropping the host got me a return boat ride at regular price on a week when both resorts at first swore it was impossible to accommodate me. Fully functional bar fridge running off solar power, enough lights to get through the evening and an all important floor fan. This island is HOT at night. The fan was life saving. Big private yard. Sunny spots when you want to get warm, but lots of shade at all times of day too. Just follow the iguanas. They know what's up. Did I mention diving? 🔵✔️ Thanks Mark!

The cabana was perfect. Ocean at your feet. Swam everyday. Beautiful breeze no need for air conditioning. Lived in my hammock. Everything is within walking distance. The caretaker Tracy was fantastic. So helpful, and kind. I would definitely stay again. The people of Belize are so warm.

Had a great stay with my family. Was near the airport and felt very safe. Alan was super helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend.

My wife, myself and our 14yo grandson stayed for 4 days. The place was incredible. A jungle experience everyone should try, from the guided cave tour by Alex to the bridge and then the stairs up the jungle mountain. The little cafe had awesome burritos and quesadillas. The trip in and the 2 river crossings was an adventure in its own right after all the rain that we had had, but we made it(in a AWD car) On our last day we were surprised by a special guest by a favorite of mine. “We’re not gonna take it” is my clue. Thank you Mike & sons, Alex and everyone else!

The neighborhood wasn't fantastic, but it was a relatively quick drive to the water areas and restaurants, etc. We felt safe in the house itself. The property is very secure. The yard and pool are nice and private. We were hesitant at first but once we got settled in we were very happy with the accomodations!

The host was very responsive and helpful. We will recommend them to anyone.

If you’re looking for relaxation and serenity this is the place. Waking up every morning to the sunrise, the view, a cup of coffee and a good book!

We LOVED staying at Al and Maria's rental home! The home was very clean, beautiful, and has all the amenities you would ever need! It was a plus that they have a great pool and a beautiful view from the veranda, where you can watch the sunset and listen to the birds. The location of this place was also great because it was on a quiet road that was only a 10 min drive from downtown. Al, Maria, and their son were all wonderful hosts! They really added to the great experience of our trip. They're wonderful people and always responded quickly! We will definitely book with them again when we return!
