More like 6 stars for location! Amazing community and the best Pupuseria right outside the gate. The patio was perfect with some shade so we could sit outside all day and swim in the lightly covered pool. Loved everything about it. Thank you so much!

Wow! This place was truly a home away from home plus! Everything we needed was there with the added bonus of a water dispenser with plenty of water! Martin, the property manager was very responsive and incredibly helpful! He even went out of his way to help us when my husband forgot his fishing rod. There was a fantastic notebook in the living room area with instructions for everything in the house, and it included recommendations for restaurants and activities. We went to some of the restaurants and went on a couple of the suggested activities, and they were wonderful! The services provided by the suggested companies couldn't have been better! I cannot recommend Tina's home highly enough. From booking to checkout, the process was easy and seamless. The home is gorgeous and has everything you need and more. The view cannot be beat. The pool was refreshing after a day out snorkeling or into town or to Caye Caulker. Eva, the house manager, virtually acts as a personal concierge - seeing to everything you could possibly need at the house, tons of contacts for snorkeling, fishing, massages (at the dock) and restaurants. She met us as we docked and was available throughout our stay to ensure a wonderful visit to Belize. As noted in the description, the house is a 25-minute golf cart ride on, at times, an unpaved dirt road. It can be bumpy but overall it's definitely worth it. The beds were comfy, the A/C was a dream, and we cooked a few meals there and found everything we needed. We hated to leave but are grateful for the hospitality and beautiful place to visit. If you're considering a San Pedro visit, this is the place!

We had an ac go out and it was REPLACED within a couple of hours!!! Lots of communication and very peaceful!!

Great place on the quiet end of the island. The place was beautiful, even better than expected. We loved using the bikes to get around the island. We did 2 snorkeling trips, and a fishing trip, and had an afternoon at the Split! It was a wonderful trip!

My family had a great stay at Bonnie’s place! It was in a good location, just minutes from the main street of Placencia. We really enjoyed going to the Beach Club for the day and the kids had a blast in the pool! The house was well-equipped with pretty much anything we could need. Bonnie was extremely responsive when the A/C had a snafu that we were able to troubleshoot. We had a great meal down the road in Signe Bight at Vern’s Kitchen as well as several spots in Placencia (finished off with Tutti Frutti of course). There is construction on the house next door which is a little unsightly but it was not loud and didn’t bother us at all. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend the Salty Bliss!

We loved our stay! Everything was just like pictures. The guidebook they sent was so helpful. The bed was comfy. The plunge pool was great after a hot day hiking around. We loved going to the (very close) waterfall. We would definitely stay again. As they say, you do have to cross a stream to get to property, we had an suv and had no problems!

Terrys place was beautiful! More than enough space for our family of 4. We enjoyed the pool very much! Surroundings were magical, watching the birds and wildlife during the day was very peaceful. Terry was quick to respond and helped us coordinate excursions. Even last minute they were able to help accommodate a trip the to zoo. Neighborhood was quiet and fairly walkable to a few restaurants and market. Taxi recommendations were available and easily accessible, though a little pricey, but that was fairly common for the area. The excursion company through Terry and JP was seamless, tour guides were some of the best we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back again!

We had a fantastic stay with Hilary & Pike. The apartment was great, communication was easy and helpful, tour of the island in the buggy on arrival from Pike was brilliant, and the complimentary bikes were a lovely touch! Couldn’t recommend Hilary & Pike’s place enough!

Had a great stay at Bobbi's place! The studio had everything we needed and was in a great location to have some privacy but conveniently close to everything. The couch was comfy to sleep on (not a sofa bed, though) and Bobbi gave us extra blankets for it. Would recommend this place to anyone!

This was where we went on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it!! The penthouse is beautiful. The outdoor sitting area is massive and so comfortable. Diana was so helpful. She made sure we had a way to easily get from Belize to Caye Caulker. There was a nice man with our name on the sign at the airport. once we took the water taxi to the island,another man was waiting to bring us to the room on a golf cart. The location was fabulous. it's on the edge of town. It was quiet but close to everything. Having access to the bicycles was very nice. We explored the whole island like that. Be sure to check out the stingrays at sunset at Iguana Inn and the tarpon are cool too! Sunrise there is spectacular at the room but even more so on the 2nd story deck by the pier. I would absolutely go back

Ricky was incredibly helpful with recommendations in the area both before check-in and during my stay. The house was super clean and organized. He responded to any questions I had in under 10 minutes and also assisted with airport transportation and general transportation needs. Overall, it was a real pleasure. I would suggest that if you choose this Airbnb, it might be a good idea to rent a vehicle to get around, especially if you’re not comfortable walking. Other than that, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying at Laura’s Place! It had everything we needed for our trip. The location was very private and being able to eat at Weezie’s cafe was a great perk! Victoria in the office was so kind and helpful. She answered all of our questions and even tracked down a fishing pole for my son to use off the dock. We loved this location and all of the amenities.

The host was very responsive, very easy check in, had all the amenities we needed and Windy welcomed us when we got there. Close to good restaurants. Thank you!

Luz and Dale were amazing. Luz showed me all the hot spots and picked me up at the airport. Dale has a small store of apparel and sunglasses that I purchased from. They been there all their lives and definitely pointed me in the right direction. Thanks guys.

If we ever decide to come back to visit Belize, this will be our choice to stay. The comfy cabin Is at the very end of the island. It was peaceful and being able to sit out on the dock every morning watching the local fisherman go by and as well as sunsets it’s the perfect place to get away and relax. Very close to town by either bicycle or golf cart. We enjoyed our time very much.

Leila was a great host and Blu Zen was phenomenal. We were greeted at the dock and escorted to our condo, which was immaculate inside and looked just like the photos. The place was clean and spacious and the A/C worked perfectly (and was adjustable). Leila suggested we use Murray as a tour guide and he took us from the airport to the water taxi terminal, and to cave tubing and a howler monkey preserve (highly recommend Murray as he was easy to communicate with and was very knowledgeable). Blu Zen has a couple restaurants on-site that were easy to walk in to (we were there off-season), and the market had all the necessities we needed (including a coffee bar, ice cream, beer fridge, and a freezer with meats, bacon, etc.). They also have bikes (free) and golf carts for rent which we took up to Bliss Beach to see the sunset. It was an easy 10 minute ferry down to the south island that leaves right from the dock. Super comfortable and felt like home.

The staff at Diamante were excellent. Text communication prior to check in, transport to and from the airport, staff was working the property day and night by cleaning the pool and hot tub, gardening, and security on property at night. The service was excellent and easy. The location of the property is right on the beach, and next door to best restaurants, docks, Central Park, and piers used by the tour companies. Would highly recommend it!

This is my second time staying at Hummingbird Island, like tge first I stated it was a great experience, the place was very clean and felt like home. Very spacious, rooms and very nice kitchen, if you have a family it's great because if you want to cook a meal, you are provided with everything you need. this place is close to town, great location, the swimming pool was a great addition, specially if you have kids, my son enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back definitely. And the manager was very nice and friendly, he helped with our languages, and with golf cart rental, you definitely need to rent a golf cart. Thank you Hummingbird Island, we had a great time . This beachfront condo was perfectly as described with amazing views. The condo staff is super friendly, responsive and helpful. A small area of restaurants is just five minutes away by cart for breakfast, smoothies, lobster, shrimp, fish dinners, etc. we experience great seaside view that kept the terrace cool all day where we spent hours just listening to the water and working. The condo has plenty of extra linens and towels, including beach towels. The kitchen is well stocked, including a coffee pot while the pantry had a few salt, pepper, seasoning basics. Blender too. Some of the popular San Pedro restaurants in town were about 20 minutes away by cart but totally worth it and the ride is always a fun daily excursion. Secret beach is about 20 minutes away. We come here frequently and this was probably the best proximity location to all of our favorite spots. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location, off the beaten path but easy to get to everything. You will want a golf cart. Edwin and his family are lovely.

This condo was beautiful & had everything we needed. The beach was peaceful and private. The condo is about 20 minutes out of town by golf cart, so it was really nice having our own cart rental for our stay. There are some really nice restaurants nearby and Belize Pro Dive Shop will pick up on the nearest dock, which was really nice. Some other companies would not go that far south for pickup. We are from a mountain state and left some cookies out which attracted some sugar ants in the kitchen, so keep food in closed containers/bags or in the fridge. This area has more permanent residents, so it is very peaceful. If you want more of a night life scene (which we didn't) or don't want to rent a golf cart, I'd suggest staying closer to the center of town. There is a bar (Stax) right across the street. It was nice having a food option right there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed this spot!

The condo worked perfectly for our family of four. It had everything we needed and the location was excellent. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
