Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Bath

This was my first time ever visiting Bath and Penny Cottage was the perfect home away from home. Everything was clean, Ruby left great recommendations for things to do and was always very responsive. Everything is clean and updated. The cottage is located in an incredibly convenient location, just a half a mile from all of Bath’s major attractions and restaurants. We really had a wonderful stay and I do hope to come back to Penny Cottage in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our host was lovely! Good clean accommodation with a homely feel. Easy to get to Bath by car from here and private place to park outside the house.

Joe was an amazing host it was our first holiday away and for my little dog to we got ourselves bit lost gave Joe a call it wasn’t a problem he gave very good instructions and we found him and had the best greeting from Joe and Ernie the cottage was absolutely stunning the grounds are breath taking it’s literally a slice of heaven my little dog loved his stay just as much and his new friend Ernie Joe was incredible the whole time couldn’t of asked for better at all we have booked our second stay already it was that amazing keep it up Joe it’s truely amazing

Jill’s house is a beautiful, warm and welcoming. The walled garden is glorious and the local area is quiet and quaint. Within walking distance to the centre of Bath and with Jill’s helpful instructions, communication, friendliness and recommendations we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much!

Absolutely fantastic location, Bath a 10 minute walk and the lovely Widcombe village less than 5, everything you need on the doorstep, we didn’t use the car once in four days, perfect. Pollyanna was super helpful and really responsive, highly recommended. Morning coffee from The Colombian Company in the village a must ☕️❤️

The cottage is beautiful and looks exactly as described in the pictures. There is a lot of assistance from Jon & Sophie in finding the place, they also include recommendations for restaurants, groceries and transportation whilst in Bath which is extremely helpful. It was a great stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Bath.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment and we loved Bath. It's a very walkable city. The apartment is located on the third floor above the shops on a picturesque commercial street with very good cafes and restaurants. Easy walking distance from the train station over the Halfpenny Bridge. The apartment was well equipped, everything necessary for meal prep. The bed was comfy. As others have mentioned the bathroom is very small but workable. Excellent value.

This was a lovely place to stay in Bath! We were at the center of all activities and conveniently located to restaurants and the shops. Anthea provided a clean and cozy place for us during our stay, with extra touches like snacks and breakfast goodies. So thankful to find such a great place for our short time in Bath. Lovely place in a lovely area! Very clean throughout and had everything we needed. It was just a 15 minute walk to the centre of bath so lactation was also perfect! Would love to stay again! Great communication aswell

We really enjoyed our stay at Henry’s garden apartment. It is extremely well located. Walking distance to all the major sights in Bath. The apartment itself is very well equipped. We were lacking for nothing! Would definitely recommend!

Margaret was a very responsive and helpful host, and very flexible. The place was ideally located for us, a short walk from Larkhall village and walking distance into central Bath. Her instructions were super clear to follow and the off-street parking space a bonus.

Top floor apartment was worth the stairs! So prettily decorated just like pics. And VERY CLEAN!! Comfy beds and living area made up for the small bathroom. Perfect location for walking everywhere in Bath. Stunning City with so much history…the Roman Baths exceeded expectations and the Pulteney Bridge was picturesque. Neat shops, parks, architecture! There was a great grocery store nearby. Great check in instructions and it was easy to drop off bags and go park (separate fee) at recommended location a short walk away. If you don’t mind stairs, this is a perfect location for all of your Bath needs. We loved it! Highly recommend!!

We had the most wonderful time staying at Rebecca’s place in Bath. It immediately felt like a home from home with a really welcoming cosy feel to the place. The interiors are beautiful and if you love art you’ll love relaxing in the 2 lounge areas. We are a family of 4 and it was the perfect size for us. Great location, walkable to everywhere and we even got a takeout one evening from the local Indian a few doors down and it was excellent! Would highly recommend as a base to explore Bath if you love period properties and character.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The flat was beautiful—clean, stylish, and really comfortable. Anne Marie was so lovely and easy to communicate with, which made everything super smooth. Plus, the location was perfect—an easy walk to the city centre. Couldn’t have asked for a better place!

The home is delightful. The extra touch of having tea. Coffee and milk and a bottle of prosecco made things even more welcoming. We struggled with the tv remote but they immediately came to help. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I have never stayed in such an elegantly decorated Airbnb apartment. Hugo and family have gone to great lengths to curate an amazingly beautiful and eclectic collection of art on the walls, which seems quite fitting for the historic location. This was a very comfortable place to stay, near to town and parks. There is no street parking nearby, so loading in and out needs to be handled strategically, but there’s a good long-term lot, about a ten minute walk away. Since the building is well over two hundred years old, you might notice some mustiness. In all, however, the plusses completely outweigh any minuses, and our family much enjoyed staying in this apartment.
