Vacation rentals in Amsterdam-Oost

Carola's houseboat was a magical place to stay as a solo female traveler and first-time visitor to Amsterdam. The location was secure, and Carola lives next door, which made me feel extra safe. It still felt very private though! I liked that it was out of the craziness of downtown, but still very easy to reach by tram, bike, or walking (20ish minutes). The bedroom was cozy with lots of storage for my clothes and toiletries and stayed pretty cool. You never know what kind of bed you're going to get at an Airbnb, but this one was perfect. I slept well every night and only got woken up by a heron on the roof once! :) Carola herself is extremely kind and welcoming and made my experience special with small touches and our conversations. I can't wait to come back and book Carola's place again. It might be a little small for tall people, but it was perfect for me!

Я прекрасно провела время в жилье Паулиен. Это маленькая студия, расположенная в красивом зелёном районе рядом с каналом. Район находится не очень далеко от центра, и в то же время он очень тихий и уютный. Этот район застроен домами т.н. "амстердамской архитектурной школы" 1920-х годов и сохраняет особую атмосферу и очарование этой застройки. В студии Паулиен было все необходимое для краткосрочного пребывания. Кроме того, она обустроена с большим вкусом и вниманием к деталям. Паулиен - любезная и доброжелательная хозяйка, всегда помогала решить проблемы и быстро отвечала на сообщения (кроме одного раза, когда ответ пришел с большой задержкой, но это, наверное, недоразумение). Очень удобным было гибкое время заселения-выезда. В день моего отьезда была забастовка железнодорожников, и Паулиен подсказала, как в этой ситуации быстро добраться до аэропорта. Я благодарна Паулиен за гостеприимство, рекомендую ее жилище и сама охотно остановлюсь у нее ещё раз, если буду в Амстердаме!

Possibly the nicest host on Airbnb! the boat was perfectly located, close to everything you need and quiet enought to enjoy a nice evening and morning sitting on the water.. If you want to make a memory you'll tell your Grandchildren about, book a stay!

We had a great stay! The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful—he even drove us to the train station in the end when he saw we were traveling with a child and it was raining. We really appreciated the hospitality and would highly recommend this place to others!

Mirjam nous as accueillis chaleureusement dès notre arrivée malgré l'heure tardive. La chambre est très agréable, calme, spacieuse, lumineuse, décorée avec goût. Les petites attentions (thé, tisanes, café, stroopwafels, wihlelmina) sont appréciables et ont agrémenté joliment notre séjour. Nous avons grandement apprécié la possibilité de laisser nos bagages dans la chambre le dernier jour avant notre départ tout comme Mirjam nous a fait une confiance absolue en nous suggérant de laisser les clés à l'intérieur du logement si elle n'était pas là pour notre départ. Nous ne pouvons que recommander notre hôte et la remercions encore pour tout.

Ozzy’s place is a gem. The apartment is spotless, beautifully designed and incredibly well located. The train is quite literally at the door, which made getting around so easy. It’s in a part of the city that gives you a feel for local life…not too far from the center, but just far enough to avoid the overly touristy vibe. I loved that balance! The space itself is full of thoughtful touches, both calming and eclectic. It’s easy to see how much care has gone into creating it :) And then there’s Ozzy himself. A truly wonderful host. It’s easy to see why he has so many glowing reviews. He’s kind, attentive and genuinely thoughtful, with a calm energy and personality that puts you at ease right away. What made this trip even more special were the conversations we had…thoughtful, funny and unexpectedly grounding. I left this place not only well rested but v inspired. Ozzy and the space both have a way of staying with you... Highly recommend, and I hope to return.

Anoushka était présente lors de notre arrivé, ce que j’ai trouvé plaisant. Le logement était impeccable, tout peut se faire vraiment facilement du logement au centre-ville en Tramway. Autrement une marche d’environ 30-45 minutes dépendant où vous allez. Ses recommandations était bonnes, nous avons vraiment apprécié, je recommande !
