Easily accessible (20 km from Amsterdam, 15 km from Utrecht, 3 km from the A2). Bicycles available; battery-powered boats, a sloop, and a sailboat available for rent. Breakfast, king-size bed (180x200), 40 inch TV with Chromecast, water cooker, hair dryer, .., everything is included. The KNSM Island is one of the hidden gems of Amsterdam, quiet and peaceful, but close to the city center. It is possible to sit outside on a private terrace and jump in the water for a swim. The sunsets are pretty spectacular as well.

Ilpendam is a picturesque village in Waterland, 8 km north of Amsterdam. We have the advantages of the countryside, on the other hand we are in 10 min by car or bus to the A'dam Metro! After a hectic day in the city, you can relax here in nature. There is a large wooden deck on the water with table and chairs. Here you can swim if you like or paddle with our borrowed canoes. There's also a terrace in front of the house, with a table and 3 chairs where you can have breakfast in the morning sun.

Our home is a completely renovated dike house from 1889, and your room has beautiful views of the Gouwzee and in the evening, you can see the lights of Monnickendam. After a good night's rest, you will enjoy your own wonderful waterfront terrace. Your apartment has its own entrance and is on the second floor of our beautiful house. Be aware that there is NO kitchen.

Only accessible by boat and boat is included (see photo), We always check you in personally and sail our own boat with you from the car park to the cottage in 5 minutes. We ask an extra deposit for the boat of € 500,- because Airbnb does not insure it.
