The Hammock House, a private space in the forest

Spend a relaxing time in a healing space surrounded by nature Forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have a relaxing time in a room surrounded by trees. The inn is located a 5-minute drive from the Akiya Coast, in a natural environment surrounded by mountains and fields. Currently, renovation work is underway on the premises, so there may be some inconvenience, but it is a perfect space for those who want to spend time feeling the breath of nature. A comfortable stay style to enjoy the four seasons There is no air conditioner, but the room is comfortable with the natural breeze. In spring and fall, you can just open the windows to be comfortable, and in summer, the ceiling fan and electric fan will bring cool air. In winter, the warm flames of the wood stove envelop the entire house. A special relaxing experience that is out of the ordinary Mexican hammocks can be installed in all rooms. Especially on summer nights, you can have an extraordinary experience of being in the woods by sleeping in a hammock with the windows open. However, due to the richness of nature, insects may come out when it gets warm. Please be careful if you don't like insects. Although the house is in the middle of renovation, please enjoy "living with nature" that you can't find in the city.

Yokosuka Tenkū | A Showa-era Japanese hideaway at the end of the stairs

Built in 1934 and with over 90 years of history, Yokosuka Tenkū is a traditional house on a hill that retains the atmosphere of the Showa era. This retreat, which is said to have been the home of a naval officer before the war, retains a quiet, elegant atmosphere that is quintessentially Japanese. At the top of the long staircase, you'll find the sea breeze, the sounds of birds chirping, the greenery of the garden, and, at night, the starry sky. Enjoy a relaxing time while experiencing the “everyday life of Showa-era Japan” that you wouldn't find at a hotel. About a 10-minute walk from Yokosuka-Chuo Station on the Keikyu Line. Finally, there are about 50 steps, so we recommend coming with light luggage. Check-in is self-check-in using a lockbox. A somewhat nostalgic house by the sea

We remodeled this beachfront house ourselves. It is a 30-second walk to the beach and has a Showa-era feel. The name of the facility ”Hayamana" is a combination of Hayama (Hayama) and Mana (Soul). It's not luxurious by any means, but it has a nostalgic, soothing atmosphere. The property also has a stand-up paddle rental, and beginners can attend a school. The owner is a certified professional of the PSA (Professional SUP Association), so that you can fully enjoy the activities of the sea with peace of mind. There is also a surprisingly unknown trail entrance surrounded by the greenery of Hayama, 5 minutes away on foot. Conveniently located within walking distance to various restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, drug store, coin laundry, etc.
