Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Whitstable

Just back from a short stay. We loved it. Thank you to Erica and Pete for allowing us to share your home. We will certainly be back.

This was our third stay in Whitstable and we had again a very relaxing time. Fleur’s house is very nice, full of light, well located, quiet and we had everything we needed.

⸻ We had a great weekend staying at Joe’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Joe was a fantastic host—responsive, welcoming, and clearly puts a lot of care into making sure his guests have a great experience. It truly felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again

Great find on Airbnb for a few days in Whitstable with our puppy. The house was lovely and welcoming to walk into after our long, cold and wet journey from Buckinghamshire . It was perfectly situated for our needs - Nicola had even provided dog bowls and towels which was very thoughtful. On arrival back from a day out, we discovered the smoke alarm bleeping as it needed a new battery. We contacted Nicola and almost immediately got a response, the issue was dealt with really quickly which was wonderful.

A lovely and very comfortable cottage, located near the High Street. It was very clean and well equipped, excellent. Parking can be tricky but we managed to find a space only a 5 minute walk from the property. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

The whole family experienced the ‘wow!’ factor upon entering this charming property. The pictures are a true reflection but it goes to show that a real life. 3D version is often so much better. Jamie is incredibly helpful and responsive and treated us to very flexible arrival and check-in times. It’s a very central location, easily walkable to the beach sauna! Highly recommended.

Second stay at the property and we hope to repeat again next year. Lovely location and accommodation.

The initial problem with no keys available was sorted out, thank you. As we self-catered virtually all the time, it was very handy to have Sainsbury's very close by in Harbour Street. Excellent meal on our last night at The Lazy Lobster which was able to cater for one omnivore and one vegetarian

Really enjoyed our stay at Paula’s flat. Loved the seaside decor. Two big bedrooms and plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobes. Lovely furnishings in the lounge. A pretty little garden full of roses and a sunny deck. We always managed to park on the street near the flat. The parking behind the flat was very tight and not suitable for a larger car. We walked to the seafront in five minutes and to town in ten. Great location. Whitstable had real charm - an active seafront, lots going on and loved the shops and cosy restaurants on High St and Harbour St. Paula emailed a really detailed list of things to do and restaurant, pubs and cafes to try which was much appreciated as it was our first visit to Whitstable. Great place to walk the coastal path. We also drove to Botany Bay and walked to Broadstairs. Had a lovely day in Canterbury exploring the lanes full of interesting shops and restaurants, did the river walk and saw the beautiful cathedral. Despite mixed weather plenty to do.

I would highly recommend Anna’s basement apartment! Great space and she’s a very communicative host!

Lovely flat, with a great sea view. Really tidy & clean. Clear instructions of how to get in & WiFi etc… it was perfect for what we needed. Only there for one night as had an occasion to attend in Deal. Would recommend x

My partner and I had a lovely time at Genevieve’s flat. It served as a perfect base for wandering around the local area and the flat itself has been decorated to a high standard. We especially enjoyed sipping some Kent wine in the window seat! We will absolutely stay here again when we are next in Margate :)

We had a lovely long weekend at Dan and Erica's place. The flat was really well set up for children and felt like a home away from home- our 3 little ones loved it! The flat is in a great location for exploring the area.Lots of things to do locally and a great folder in the flat giving recommendations. Could have easily filled a whole week with activities. We hope to be able to come back very soon.

Just returned from a really lovely couple of days at Windy CornerCottage. Location is fabulous. Easy to find and parking very easy in the space provided. Sea front 1 minute walk, nearest shop 5 minutes. Plenty of pubs restaurants coffee shops within easy walking distance including co op and Sainsbury’s local. Windy Corner cafe is on the ground floor below the flat great for a snack or coffee. Despite proximity to everything location is wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The apartment itself is very comfortable and homely. Slept brilliantly in the double bed. Didn’t use the twin room but it looked very comfortable too. Bathroom was clean with lovely walk in shower and kitchen/ living room comfortable and clean. We did not cook or use washing machine so cannot comment on these. Communication was great from the minute we made the booking. We collected and returned keys to the cafe who couldn’t have been more helpful but there is also a lockbox if needed. Overall experience faultless.

Brilliant weekend stay with Sally, absolutely great location. The accommodation was spotless and a great location. Previously having a property in Whitstable we knew the area well and within 5 minutes you are at the heart of the town. Sally was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble. We are already planning our next trip and will be sure to stay with Sally again.

Perfect destination for a long weekend 😀 Super clean, beautifully decorated flat literally 5 mins walk to the sea. Whitstable around a 25 minute flat walk along the coast road with ice cream parlours en route. Owners very helpful and left a lovely selection of treats including wine and a selection of baked goods. Everything thought of including toiletries, charging cables and cushions on the outdoor furniture. High quality of fixtures and fittings throughout. Absolutely loved the enclosed private garden with flowers and chirping sparrows. Close to restaurants, take aways or a nice M&S for eating in. Would recommend to anyone.

The old school flat is ideal for those with mobility difficulties, with all you need on one floor. It’s near to the town centre- short drive- and 5 minutes walk to the cliff top over the beach and sea front. The flat is well equipped with comfortable beds

This is a brilliant airbnb. It is a real home from home. Everything is of a really hi spec from the bathroom to the bedding. It had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Julie was a great host and was very flexible with the times of arrival aand departure which helped us out immensely. We were given a lovely friendly welcome and information on good places to eat etc. We were even given a bottle of milk! Cannot recommend this place highly enough, will defo be back!!

We stayed for two nights at Zoe's flat and really loved it. The space is spacious, calm and thoughtfully designed. It gets great natural light and watching the sunset from the living room was a lovely way to end the day. Our kids really enjoyed the books and games, which made things more relaxing for us too. Zoe shared some great recommendations and the location made it easy to walk everywhere. Would definitely recommend!

It was a privilege to stay in Teresa’s lovely seaside flat. From the moment I walked in the door of this bright, cozy and beautifully decorated flat it felt like I was entering someone’s home, not a typical rental unit. It was clean, well outfitted and decorated, with the most incredible view of the sea. I would most definitely recommend and hope to return myself on future visits. Thank you, Teresa!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to the beach, which made morning coffee walks and sunset views super convenient. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing.
