Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Weeki Wachee River

This was our second time staying at Kelley’s home. The location is amazing! We enjoyed paddling and swimming everyday. We loved just hanging out in the water right off the dock when we weren’t paddling the river. Kelley has every thing you need to cook/grill at the house. After going to the store once we never left the property durning our stay. Kelley is friendly and beyond accommodating but gives you your privacy. We can’t wait to stay again!

Absolutely perfect getaway! This charming riverfront cottage is a gem—clean, cozy, and beautifully set right on the crystal clear Wiki Wachee river. The views from the dock were stunning, and we loved kayaking right from the property. The host was super responsive, check-in was a breeze, and the place had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Highly recommend for anyone craving a serene escape!

Amazing location. Beautiful home. Perfect kayak location to main river. No direct neighbors on either side . Dolphins arrived one morning to say hello . It truely is a magical place. Thank you 10/10 definitely will return.

The place was spotless and very welcoming. The access to the river is right around the corner and the dock and patios were a welcome spot to spend down by the water. We definitely had an amazing weekend and would love to book again in the future.

Location and amenities were PERFECTION. Kayaks and paddle boards for all of us with Hospital Hole and Rogers Park a short paddle away. We enjoyed the rope swing and saw several manatees swim right by the house. Loved using the green egg for BBQ dinners and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed to entertain. Great house!!

My family and I were here for Mother’s Day weekend to kayak the Weekie Watchee river and Jose’s place for this did not disappoint! We were equipped with the right amount of kayaks we needed for the people in my party and the head spring was a quick nine minute drive. The vast river frontage and the plentiful seating to enjoy the views was wonderful and the propane grill came in handy the night we wanted to grill steaks for a special meal. Comfy beds and lots of under the sink bathroom items supplied to make use of in case you forgot anything. Luxury Native brand shampoo, conditioner, and body wash supplied! This host is responsive and cares to make your trip memorable. Book, you won’t be disappointed.🙂

We had a wonderful stay at Nana’s River House! The outdoor space is absolutely fantastic — perfect for relaxing, grilling, or just soaking in the serene views of the river. The location right on the water couldn’t be better; it felt peaceful and private, yet still close enough to everything we needed. Inside, the house was incredibly comfortable. Everyone in our group felt right at home. The beds were cozy, the living area was inviting, the kids loved their private cave, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. We were also really impressed with how well-stocked the house was. From the kitchen to the bathrooms, everything we needed was right at our fingertips — it’s clear the hosts have put a lot of thought into making this a perfect getaway spot. Highly recommend Nana’s River House — we’re already talking about coming back!

To my surprise I had a gift and snacks(including water and juice in the refrigerator)awaiting upon my arrival and I really can’t say enough about how friendly and attentive Aldo was during my stay. We really enjoyed our stay here. May was very responsive and always communicated very well. It was nice and quiet , exactly what we needed as a short getaway. The neighborhood was safe and we never felt uneasy at all even though we returned back late at night we would definitely stay here again. Make sure you check out the Rusty Belly restaurant. The food was so good. And for Karaoke , The Bridge was so much fun. Small dive but good crowd.

This townhouse was an excellent find for a few nights stay to visit some relatives in Wesley Chapel! It very comfortably accommodated two adult couples, and it was great to have our own bathrooms. The outdoor patio has a great view of the golf course; it was shady in the morning for coffee, and a relaxing spot for end of day wine. The townhouse is comfortably furnished and very clean. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits to the area.
