Vacation rentals with beach access in Wealden District

Wonderful apartment in a fantastic area of St.Leonard’s. Such a beautiful view of the sea. Cannot recommend this home more highly.

The apartment is very nice, tastefully decorated. We felt right at home! Nothing is missing in terms of equipment, point+++. Great bedding! The location is ideal, making it easy to visit Hastings and the surrounding area on foot or by transport and combining the quiet and proximity to the city center. Madelaine was always responsive and the hosting was very nice and facilitated by the explanations and advice given on site. The little touches on arrival are a real plus! It's good to know that the noises and footsteps from upstairs can be heard, but Madelaine & her husband have always been very respectful and these noises are therefore not annoying. Thanks ☺️

The apartment is stylish, comfortable and very clean. We loved the view and the space was great, high ceilings and period features. Having been to St Leonards before we knew that our favourite restaurants were walkable too. Moyra was a great host and very helpful and considerate about check in time, much appreciated.

As it turned out my wife & I caught a cold from Hell at the last moment, and because we were visiting an elderly relative in a care home and the other house guests are also of a certain age we decided not to go , but here is the comment from the two guests who stayed . “ Everything was fine, very well equipped, a little shabby in places, excellent position and parking worked well.” From my side Phil made everything run smoothly so I would not hesitate to recommend the apartment. We had a wonderful two night stay at this property. Sonia was very helpful and sent clear instructions for self check in. There are stairs to the apartment, but worth every step. When you enter you find a beautifully decorated apartment with view of the beach and pier. The rooms are a good size and the beds comfortable. A real home away from home - I hope we can return one day!

Just got home from a couple of nights stay at Jason's fab holiday home. Exactly as described, very stylish, very comfortable & with the added bonus of a welcome pack. Only a short drive from Eastbourne seafront & Pier & very close to the Harbour too, spoilt for choice of things to do & see. Jason is an excellent & generous host, communication was spot on and very easy & it was also great to meet him. Thank you for letting us stay, I'm pretty sure we'll be back time & time again.

We had the most amazing time staying here a truly special place, thank you. Fabulous blend of period features and modern creature comforts. We hope to stay again in the future.

Tracy & Marks property was very spacious and just what we needed for a weekend get away with our friends and their families. We traveled with 3 children under 2 and luckily Tracy & Mark were very kind and flexible with our check in to work around nap/ feeding times which was a real help. The house itself has everything you need in the kitchen, which looks out onto a lovely garden, the dining room next door was very big and a great place for cooking group dinners, the lounge included a small pool table and a darts board, they also had a great selection of board games. The location is just a 4 minute drive from the beach front in Hastings, which had some great shops, & really lovely places to grab a bite to eat and drink. We had a fantastic stay, thank you both!

A lovely well furnished property close to local amenities. The property had all we needed, including coffee machine and teapot and egg cups. Items we find often aren't provided in Airbnbs . Kitchen was well equipped. Decor was clean and it was well furnished. Reclining sofas were really enjoyed by our 2 year old grandson. They provided a travel cot which was great as reduced our luggage. Communication was excellent. We had a great stay and would totally recommend Daphnes. It was fascinating to read about how this had been in the famiky for so many years,

Great place near everything. Close to bus and train. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and beach. Would gladly come back again.

Andrea’s place in Brighton was absolutely outstanding—by far the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Every corner of the apartment was spotless, fresh, and clearly well cared for. It made the whole experience feel extra comfortable and relaxing. Beyond the incredible cleanliness, the space was beautifully set up, fully equipped, and in a great location—close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, but still nice and quiet. Andrea was also a wonderful host—warm, responsive, and thoughtful throughout my stay. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Brighton!

Catherine's kittiwakes air bnb was fantastic. I was a little apprehensive booking Kittiwakes air b n b for the size of our family however it was a perfect size with the added benefit of storing luggage etc in the garage! Catherine's attention to detail is superb we very much enjoyed our stay.

This is a perfect place for exploring Eastbourne. It is near the sea and not far from the town centre. The neighbourhood is quiet and leafy. The accommodation was extremely spacious and Caroline included every possible incidental you could think of. She was there to greet us on arrival and at our departure - nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning.

Paul responded very quickly to messages. He was so helpful for advice, tips, information and was so kind to accommodate with some essential food items for Vegans. Paul's home was lovely, clean and tidy. The garden was so beautiful and the home so close to the sea. Paul was so kind to meet during check in to help show us around the house and also to give some advice on the local area. I could not have asked for a more perfect stay for my birthday, thanks so much Paul 😊

Very happy with our stay , a lovely clean flat ,great location ,couldn't ask for more , responsive owners which always makes life easier.

We had a short stay but the place was very spacious, quite unique, well decorated and had fantastic views being on the seafront. Great for sunsets too! The local area was peaceful but has some amenities, cafes, restaurants, pier and arcade so everything you need to have a break. Canterbury & Ashford are not far for some sightseeing/shopping. Angela was a great host too! Thanks again!

Fabulous appartement with superb sea view. Excellent host, always responsive. The only downside was that we found the local neighbourhood less attractive than expected, but it can be a good outpost to explore for example Rye, Battle and Brighton. (There's a lovely sandy beach near Rye in a town/village called Camber, but beware of seagulls if you picnic, which you must because the quality of the local shops on the beach is terrible.)
