Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Waterloo

Unique place for a group stay. We were ten friends going to a wedding nearby and we really enjoyed all getting to stay together. This is an amazing property that would be beautiful for a longer stay or family reunion. The mattresses were memory foam which might take getting used to. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

Beautiful, spacious and clean home. By far one of the best stays. Perfect for large groups.

Tanya was an incredible host. I had a very last minute cancellation and Tanya worked with me to host when I was in an incredibly challenging spot. I can’t say enough great things about the host and the space. Super responsive and amazing to book with. If you’re lucky enough to find this place during your stay in Cambridge I’d recommend booking it as you won’t be disappointed.

Everything was amazing and excatly as described, What a gorgeous place decorated beutifuly with a super comfortable bed and everything i needed for my stay. Close to downtown Kitchener with many great restaurants. My Host Christina’s was amazing, and available anytime, she was very friendly and very professional. Had an amazing stay at Robert’s place. I was visiting my long distance best friend and we had an amazing time. It doesn’t feel at all like you’re in the city, has a very cottage feel to it. Overall, the property was absolutely beautiful, the place was clean snd full of tones of amenities. Also he provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which is great if you forget! The brita was a nice touch aswell and the freezer was full of ice. The gym was awesome, it’s located in a separate building probably 10 steps from the house lol. I had the best time and would love to book again.

Lovely little basement suite! Backyard is lovely and huge with a big fire pit. We loved the little snacks, the super funny comfort guide, guest Netflix, and the water in the fridge. It was all the small details that made this such a lovely place. You can hear the upstairs tenants a little bit. Was fine for us but could bother some. Bedrooms are a good size, lots of room for luggage to be opened up. Lots of extra blankets around (loved the super soft grey one on the couch!). Make sure you read the instructions for check-in and go to the second door at back. I was flustered from flying and missed the instructions. Chris was very gracious about it and super responsive which was awesome. Finally, there is a fully functioning kitchen with all the amenities you could need, large TV, and super comfy couch! We’d definitely stay here again!!

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and a few families decided a hotel wasn’t for us this time. Best decision we’ve ever made! Three families stayed together in this house: 6 adults, 4 thirteen year old girls. The main floor, second floor and attic are one unit, and the basement is a self contained, separate unit. This was perfect for us! The parents stayed upstairs and the girls basically had their own apartment for the weekend. They LOVED having their own space (so did the parents)! From first contact, our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were so impressed with the little touches that greeted us. 100% would recommend and if provincials are in Waterloo again next year, we will absolutely return. Thank you for your hospitality.

Ryan’s cozy little home was the perfect retreat for me while my husband had heart surgery at St. Mary’s hospital. The location gave me the ability to walk, eliminating the hassle of a car. We had several occasions where the surgery date was changed and Ryan was always willing to accommodate us whenever he could. Thanks Ryan for everything Wendy

For what we wanted and needed, the Sawmill suite was ideal. We arrived very late after a wedding reception, so it was quite dark out. Once we located the address, however, the driveway and entranceway to the unit were very well lit. Even the steps down to the door to the suite were lit with some charming hanging bulbs. Helpful and quite lovely. The kitchen is everything you need it to be, the bathroom and shower clean and perfectly functional. The living room is large and airy, the couch capacious and comfy with plenty of nice soft blankets essential on a leather couch. A nice touch. If I have any issue, and this is a small one, it’s that there are only two lamps in the entire suite - one small one in the living room and one on one of the side tables in the bedroom. The overhead lighting is ample, but I prefer the softer light of lamps, especially in the evening and for watching TV. Again, a small complaint. Overall a wonderful home base for exploring the St. Jacobs area!

Kathy was great, always helpful and supportive. She even offered to let our dogs out if we were going to be away very long. Wonderful large back yard for them as well. Perfect for anyone staying with furry family. Plus the decor was very cute, and the yard amenities charming.

We had a weekend getaway as two couples and Krista's place was perfect. The decor was stylish and amenities were thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

The unit and building were impeccable. Checkin was a breeze and flexible. Had just a wonderful night of sleep in a comfortable space. Looking forward to staying again soon.

We recently spent two nights while my 15 year old son was in a basketball tournament. The walkout basement unit was brand new with all the wonderful finishes. The large patio door to look at the treed backyard was lovely. In warmer weather even a patio set. The bedrooms were very comfortable. It was a very large space and the kitchen had all the amenities you could need. The only thing that could be better would be and additional sofa or chairs for watching the large screen tv. The three seater sofa kinda tight for 3/4 people:). I would definitely recommend this place and I would go again. It was situated in a modest clean and safe neighborhood. Very quiet.

Lovely place ...indoors and outside! Beautifully decorated and comfortable. The neighborhood invites you to explore its diverse streetscapes. Convient to walk or bike ride to the river to enjoy walking/bike trails. Heather is a generous and gracious host. Hopefully we will return. 😊

My family enjoyed our stay at Faran’s. The unit is spacious and well decorated, had everything we needed to feel comfortable. My daughter particularly enjoyed the swim spa and I wish I’d had the chance to use the patio & gym, which looked great! Easy communication with Faran & and overall smooth stay!

Krystyna's place is an absolute gem - an oasis of peace and beauty! Our stay was amazing in every way and nourishing for the mind. Krystyna and her husband have created a backyard that has to be experienced to be believed - charming, green, and a haven for birds. The sound of birdsong made each day perfect. The kitchen has all appliances, and Krystyna has generously provided for every cooking need, and treats beyond that too! The best part of the stay of course was a few moments spent with Ruby, the pet of the family! Thank you, Krystyna and Bill!

This is the perfect getaway. Scott and Sandra’s place is even better than it looks. There is a huge amount of space to roam and the cabin and outdoor kitchen area are thoughtfully designed. There are many little touches that make one feel cozy and welcome such as the fairy lights that come on at night or the bottle of water and glasses in the cabin. There are carp in the creeks and horses in the pasture. Can’t recommend enough.

Adorable log cabin, lots or room. Spotless, and charming accommodation. She even made homemade baked treats. Its very cute and would be nice honeymoon getaway or with children.

Great little cabin. So close to the city yet felt like we were miles upon miles into the wilderness. Very private and comfy. Would recommend to a friend :)
