Vacation rentals with lake access in Waterloo

It immediately felt like we were visiting old friends. Ron and Jess were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. They gave us our space and privacy when we wanted it and let us use their boats to tour the peaceful and beautiful lake. If you are looking for a calm getaway and to be surrounded by nature, this is the place to be.

Jess and Ron are a lovely couple and they made our stay so welcoming and relaxed. They were prompt, helpful and so kind. The property was beautifully kept and maintained indoors and outdoors. One of the best cottages with private lake view. The dock and fire pit were just perfect to enjoy day and night respectively. Hot tub was working anytime to take a dip and enjoy the scenery that it offers. Highly recommended for couples or groups of 4!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The bedrooms are huge, great office to work out of and the kitchen is great!! I would recommend this house to anyone needing to stay in the area.

Kristy is a fantastic Host. The location is quiet & adjacent to a large, beautiful public park. From comfy beds to a fully stocked kitchen & easy access shower, our stay was absolutely perfect and we highly recommend The Otis!

The checkin was easy; Hanspal was at the property to greet me and show me around; The neighbourhood was good, quite close to my office, the room was comfortable and there was ample space around the house for recreational activities; Highly recommended!!!!

We had a great stay at Alfonso’s place. It was a little bit cold for our liking but as soon as I messaged Alfonso, the temperature was adjusted. Great little one bedroom apartment, exactly as described in the pictures. Check-in and check-out was very smooth because they provided very detailed instructions. It is a basement so you hear people walking above you but everyone was very respectful of the quiet hours so it wasn’t disruptive at all. It’s about a 20-minute drive from the Laurier University so the area itself is very quiet and residential which was exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely stay here again!

It was our second time staying here when we visit Kitchener. The apartment is in a fantastic location, close to bars and restaurants and event locations. It's very comfortable with all the amenities we need. Gerry was very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

Best Location you could ask for! I was in Kitchener for an extended stay and this Airbnb was perfect. It’s located directly across from Victoria park with so many activities and events, and a few minutes walk from downtown Kitchener! Gerry was an amazing host and would recommend staying here if you get a chance. Thanks for having me!

The unit and building were impeccable. Checkin was a breeze and flexible. Had just a wonderful night of sleep in a comfortable space. Looking forward to staying again soon.

Tasha was amazing and extremely responsive. Anytime there were any small issues she was on top of it right away. She always gave us suggestions to ensure that we were having a good time and using all the tools she had. The location did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning waterfront. I highly recommend this property as a great vacation spot. Another note Tasha had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and on the property. Five stars!!

Robert’s cabin was perfect! We loved it so much that we would consider making another trip from where we live in Seattle just to stay here again. It was so clean and had everything we could want. I just love the vision they had when decorating their space. It was so beautiful. The hot tub was very spacious, we used the gas grill and it worked perfectly, wood was available for a fire, we used their cute seadoo pedal boat, which was so fun! Plenty of kayaks were available. The lake was a dream. We didn’t get to fish but there must be a lot of fish in there because they were constantly jumping out of the water. There were comfy seats all over the yard and a lovely gazebo. The inside was so cozy. Mattress was perfect. I could go on and on about all the things we loved but I’ll just say 10/10 recommend :)

Such a magical find near Cambridge. We felt right at home at Ahrens place. The two gas fireplaces were the perfect place to get cozy in front of after a long hike at one of the many near by trails. Such a bonus to be on the lake and watch the sunsets while warming up in front of a bomb fire. The wifi is very weak, but she informed us of this. Bring pre downloaded movies if you want to watch TV as there aren’t many movies to chose from on the satellite. Great stay. Grey value. Will stay again!
