It is a patrician house; the ceilings are higher (2.20 m) than typical Appenzell houses. The kitchen is fully equipped. 2 high chairs for children/baby cots are available. Dogs are welcome. A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The studio is located in a typical Appenzell house (built in 1689). A mix of modern and traditional furnishings awaits. You are only a 3-minute walk from the old town, many sights and the Appenzell train station. The studio has an open living and sleeping area with a pull-out 160 cm wide bed. There is also a TV with Netflix access. The kitchen is fully equipped and the cozy dining area is ideal for breakfast.
