"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area.Also I provide two bikes at the house. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/（If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

Japanese traditional house/relax at the riverside

This house was built 120 years ago and stayed by a lot of people who have plan to go to Koya-san. The house is in front of the river and you can take a look. It will make relaxed. We can do tea ceremony, if you want. We have 2 toilet and 1 bath room with big bath tab made by a Japanese special wood, Hinoki. There is a 24h super market, Okuwa near the house.(5 min away by a car) And high rank Japanese beef restaurant(2 min by a car) You can enjoy Yakiniku.

2021年4月に完成したばかりの新しい洋室のお部屋です。『ゲストハウスあがえ』の隣に併設していますが、完全個室で一組様貸し切りですので、コロナ感染などが心配な方にも安心してご利用いただけます。スーパー（Aコープ紀南熊野古道ちかつゆ店)・バス停(古道歩きの里ちかつゆ)・飲食店(笑路茶屋)・ドライブイン(古道歩きの里ちかつゆ)が徒歩30秒以内、ガソリンスタンドまで約500m、熊野古道・近露王子から徒歩約5〜6分の便利な立地。オーナーは地元出身・在住の熊野古道ガイドなので、歩き旅のことや周辺の見所・情報などに詳しいので何でもご相談ください。困った時の送迎などにも可能な限り対応いたします。基本的に素泊まりですが、お食事の手配も可能です。(お食事については、『その他の特記事項』もお読みください) 『あがえ』とは地元の方言で『私の家』という意味です。自分の家で過ごすようにゆっくり寛いでください。　こちらのお部屋は今のところ『あがえ2』と呼んでいます。
