House vacation rentals in Wakayama

I used it on a family vacation with my small child and grandparents.It was close to Adventure World and tourist spots along the coast, and the supermarket and Tore Tore Market were also close, so I was able to travel smoothly.It was well equipped, but there was no hand soap, so I had a little trouble washing my hands in the children's bathroom and kitchen, but it is a facility I want to use again.

We had a very comfortable and private time.The children were very satisfied with the tent sauna, and we found various creatures, making good memories.I'd love to stay again.

The house is very good, the environment is very good, very close to the station, it's better to sleep early and get up early.

With a large bathroom, washing machine and a electric bbq stove, it really completed our trip and made it perfect. The house was just 10 minutes away from shirahama beach, which made it convenient. Very grateful for the beautiful week we spent in Gojo at Shogo and Minyu's place. They have been great hosts, and they have introduced us to the culture thanks to the time they dedicated to us. We are very happy! The house is really charming, large, spacious, quiet, and well located! They provided us with bicycles so we could explore the area. The truth is that we would return and recommend to our friends to try to connect with the authentic side of Japan, I think it is tremendously valuable!

Ryohei's House is very welcoming. Between the Manga Library, the toys for children, and the big bedrooms, it makes you wish you have a family to enjoy the place together. Everything is super clean, super organized, very convenient and fully equipped. It's close to Hashimoto station, which makes it super easy to go to Koyasan ! Plus there is a big supermarket/shopping center 15 minutes by foot. It's honestly the best place to relax and enjoy Nature. The views at Sunset are amazing. Like a Anime movie. Please book here !!!

Hardware: The kitchen utensils are super full, the pots and pans are fully equipped, and it is also very easy to cook something yourself.The tatami room and two beds on the second floor of a family of five are completely enough, and the room is private. There are also two bed tatami mats on the first floor, slightly tide, and the side window of the washroom can be opened at check-in to keep it ventilated. The best: be sure to try the hot spring room!The hot spring water is really used, and the homeowner is also meticulously separated from the hot spring pool, the surrounding area is made of volcanic rock, and it is so admirable that it is so impressive. I stayed with my friend.It was a beautiful room as pictured, the living room was spacious, and we had a very pleasant time.It was a shame that we couldn't have a BBQ because the weather was bad and there was no roof, but we were able to relax indoors. If you go by car, this is the best location alone. The house is right on the street, and it is quiet when you go in. Everyone I went with was satisfied.

Great place to use as a base for exploring Wakayama.

We used it with 5 families and 23 people. It was large enough for 23 people to spare the room. There were many children, and they responded to preschool children, so I decided. It was very spacious and the children had a fun time running around all the time. I heard that I can camp and play in the river in the summer, so I'd love to stay again for the summer vacation.

aya san is a warm and attentive host.The homestay environment is good, clean and tidy, especially the kitchen with free convenient food and nice utensils, we were impressed.Equipped with a washing machine and dryer, it is quite important to wash and dry your clothes quickly.The location of the homestay is also convenient, close to convenience stores and stations, and very close to Dai-jahara. All in all, very recommended.

I don’t even know how to start – this place is so magical that I almost didn’t want to write a review, just to keep it to myself. Staying here was everything I dreamed of: a traditional Japanese house, nestled deep in the forest on a mountain, surrounded by stunning nature. It’s simple in the most beautiful way – grounding, peaceful, and full of atmosphere. We stayed in two separate houses, both spacious, clean, and incredibly cozy. Sleeping on tatami mats, cooking in the rustic kitchen, grilling at the fire pit – every moment felt special. Our host was warm and welcoming, and even checked in to see if we needed anything. A small note: don’t come with a large car. The narrow mountain road and the steep driveway are a bit of an adventure themselves – but they are absolutely worth it. This place touched us deeply and has become a true place of longing. We’ll definitely come back and stay longer next time. Thank you for sharing this gem with the world.

Amazing find. Hidden treasure. Sorrounded by a lush green forrest and the sounds of birds. Not a super easy find. Very narrow road, the last couple of meters. (We felt like entering a hidden world from a Studio Ghibli movie: or at least understood the experience these are based on.) The nearest supermarked is a 15 minute drive. We loved the supermarked at 20 minutes. Close to the Hashiguiiwa Rocks. There were some very large spiders, especially after a night of rain, and I am anxious, but still: this was my favourite AirBnB stay in eight days Japan. Very much recommended!

Just a minute’s walk from the coast, it felt peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to enjoy the beach whenever we wanted. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended!

During my stay in Nachikatsuura, a charming minshuku greatly enriched my travel experience. The owner greeted us warmly, offering a local map with spot-on restaurant recommendations and detailed sightseeing routes, saving us planning time. The minshuku itself was a tranquil retreat. Tucked in a peaceful area, it provided a serene escape. Our room was clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly cozy—truly a home away from home. The highlight, without doubt, was visiting Ongawara Onsen. Its breathtaking beauty left me speechless, a memory that will stay with me forever. Overall, this minshuku offered exceptional hospitality and comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling to Nachikatsuura.
