Apartment vacation rentals in Venetian Lagoon

Arrigo’s home was in a good location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle (which we did) It was in a quiet, peaceful and clean location. Arrigo is a great host, when we arrived early he met us at the water bus stop helped us with my suitcase and walked us to his home sharing with us his love for Venice. He kept our suitcases while we walked around and explored until check in time. Once check in time came we walked back, he met us outside and walked us in. He showed us around the apartment and how to work everything. He then pulled out a huge map and marked down anything and everything from restaurants, grocery stores to must see places as well as bus lines to and from different islands. He also made a little handbook for reference of everything he went over with us it was amazing, he’s so organized and we actually referred to his handbook a few times for restaurants. He also left us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco from Vino Vero a must try very close to Airbnb.

The location near St Elena boat stop offers convenience, being a short 5-6 minute walk to the house. The house itself is very clean. There is a strict policy regarding trash. The shower area is small and has a half curtain, which causes water to splash everywhere. Communication from Yayoi was persistent.

The apartment was large with room to spread out and relax. We enjoyed the calm mornings with the sounds of seagulls and church bells. The a/c worked well and much needed after a long day out and climbing those 89 steps to get to the apartment on the top floor which was great exercise. The living room TV worked well and the couch was comfortable. There is one shower which has great water pressure, but is not very wide. It was a challenge for my husband and teenage boys to wash their hair. The frig/freezer/stove/microwave/dishwasher/nespresso/kettle/toaster all worked well, too. Mario/Paolo were both responsive and helpful. The location was central and loved having a grocery store just 25 steps from the front entrance. We loved Venice and would be happy to stay here again. This place is in a great location, on a canal, very walkable to everything. We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip and one night at the end. It started to feel like home away from home. Maddalena was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely return.

Fabio was super helpfull and responsive all the time. His place has a great location and is beautiful, comfortable bed, great wifi, good coffee!!! We loved it

We loved Maria’s place. It is exactly like the photos. We enjoyed sitting by the large window watching the gondola’s go by. It was an easy walk to all of the key sights in Venice. We especially appreciated that the hosted facilitated our transfer from the train station. What a great way to start our visit! We highly recommend this place and would stay again.

The location was on the outskirts from the main tourist area but it was very quiet and close enough to restaurants and the coop! The Airbnb was our favorite of the 5 we stayed in. Very clean, large and the most comfortable bed!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Great location (away from the crowds), quiet, amazing building and apartment, loved the rooftop terrace and it was perfect for a family of 3. Our host was very accommodating and explained everything very well :) Our daughter loved sitting along the canal right by our place. A bonus was the bed rail that we used for our daughter who slept on the second floor! Paolo thought of everything! Thank you!

This is a really nice place in a calmer and more “local” location of Venice. The views are fantastic of the water, canal, and a gondoliering school outside. Lots of great restaurants nearby with IMO the best views of Venice. Those who know how NJ has the best views of NYC would understand. Be careful coming back from the main island later in the evening as the Vaparettos don’t run the same routes as during the day.

Great place to stay, very central for main tourist attractions. Place was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Felt very at home immediately. Very relaxed and homely apartment, very comfortable bed and sofa bed. Host was also promptly responsive to our requests and queries about the area, during and before our stay. Would highly recommend and definitely go there again for our next trip to beautiful Venice 😍

What a lovely place! We had an amazing time at Elettra's place. It has an amazing view and exceeded our expectations! I'll recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Venice or Murano. Elettra was very helpful and informative. Thank you for everything.

Nicola & Silva’s apartment was amazing, even better than the pictures, spotlessly clean, beautiful location, very well appointed, washing machine, Netflix , everything you could possibly need. The lovely big windows open fully to soak in the Venetian atmosphere. It is very safe and secure through three locked doors and a courtyard , on the third floor. A few minutes walk from Stratnova street with restaurant’s, a supermarket and shops, the ferry for the airport and train station dock about 10 mins in opposite directions. We are so glad we stayed in this area rather than the crazy busy area around the Rialto bridge, which is only a 15 minute stroll away through the gorgeous streets. Nicola & Silvia were amazing from the time we booked till the time we left, lovely welcoming hosts. Do yourself a favour and stay here, best Airbnb of our trip, we didn’t want to leave. Thank you Nicola & Silvia for helping to make our Venice experience amazing, we will be back and will send our friends.

Fabio’s place was well furnished and exactly as described. The location was excellent with easy access to everything but tucked away enough to be relatively quiet. Fabio’s colleague met us for check in and gave us an excellent dinner suggestion - best meal we had in Italy. Highly recommend for your stay in Venice!

L'appartement est hyper bien placé, la décoration est top. La vue sur le canal est géniale. L'arrivée autonome est un plus surtout en arrivant dans la nuit. Si vous prenez un taxi, il vous pose devant la porte. Les petites attentions sont très agréables, je pense qu 'il ne manque rien, il y a tout en équipement : lave linge séchant, climatisation, parapluie et cape de pluie... si je reviens à Venise, c'est sur je choisirai cet appartement.

Absolutely recommend 10/10! Away from the busy tourist spots but only a 10 min vaporetto from the main island. Was absolutely spotless and stocked for any of our needs. Would recommend in a heartbeat. My top stay I’ve ever had on Airbnb. Cannot sing remarks enough on how comfortable, quiet, and spacious this stay was. Everything was perfect!

Logement très spacieux et décoré avec goût. Il est très fonctionnel et très bien équipé. Stephano est très réactif et disponible. Logement à recommander à 10 minutes de La place Saint Marc.

Un grand merci à Giorgia pour son accueil chaleureux, sa gentillesse, son écoute et sa grande serviabilité ! Elle nous a donné d’excellents conseils pour découvrir de bons restaurants, de jolies balades et les incontournables de cette cité merveilleuse où nous avons passé trois jours inoubliables. Son logement, situé en rez-de-chaussée à proximité de toutes les commodités, est très propre, le lit y est confortable, et le jacuzzi ainsi que le sauna sont parfaits pour se détendre après une longue journée dans les ruelles de Venise, ville à 99 % piétonne (pas de voitures, pas de trottinettes, et pas de vélos non plus !). Nous recommandons vivement ce logement ainsi que Giorgia. Vous ne serez pas déçus ! Bon séjour !

Erika a été une hôte très accommodante et très réactive. Le logement était très propre, spacieux avec toutes les commodités. Il est bien situé, à 5 minutes à pied d'un arrêt de bus qui nous conduit directement à Venise et à 15 minutes de la gare de Mestre. Nous avons également pu profiter de l'extérieur avec une grande galerie et un coin patio. Le secteur était tranquille avec un très bon restaurant et une boulangerie à proximité ainsi qu'une épicerie à 10 minutes de marche. Nous avons été accueilli par Carmen, une dame très sympathique qui a su nous donner toutes les informations et directives nécessaires pour l'accessibilité au logement. Je recommande cet endroit et je n'hésiterais pas a y retourner.

Great Airbnb! Flavio reached out via whats app and made sure I was comfortable with check in procedures. He sent his cousin, who spoke English, to assist us. The Airbnb was very clean and exactly as described! No issues at all! Great location! Very walkable to where we wanted to go!

This property has everything. The canal views are spectacular. The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. Close enough to St. Lucia to walk. Also close to both the tourists hot spots and local areas. Host was amazing. We highly recommend!

It was great stay! I enjoyed a lot, beautiful neighbourhood, not far from Venice! The flat was clean, good condition and taken care well. It made me to feel, that im at home. Monica is the kindest host 100% ever! For sure coming back!
