Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Uvita

Buena atención de Gerardo, nos recibió y dio recomendaciones. La casa tiene cocina bien equipada, aire acondicionado y todo lo que se anunciaba. Se encuentran otras casas en el terreno pero igual tiene su privacidad. El baño tiene una cortina corrediza en vez de puerta, lo cual podría ser incómodo para algunas personas. Se escuchaba la radio de los vecinos fuerte en algunas ocasiones, pero en la noche fue silencioso y pudimos descansar bien.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cabinas La Chirincocas. William was available and easy to communicate with. Pablo greeted us warmly and allowed for flexible check in. The room and amenities made for a comfortable stay, and it was very clean. The location was great for walking to the Bahia Ballena park with many excellent restaurants. Would stay again.

It was a pleasure to stay here! And Gerardo is always responsive and willing to help. Great apartment!

El alojamiento que atiende Mariela, está en un área cerrada, es tranquilo y ubicado cerca del mar y del Parque Marino Ballena. Hay lugar donde estacionar el coche en la puerta de la casa. La estancia estuvo tranquila.

We were looking for a place to stay last minute for one night, and so grateful to have found Gissel's airbnb ! It was just as described in the photos and description. Clean, cute decor, and it had everything we needed, including a washer/dryer! Gissel was quick to respond, and the communication was easy! Thank you, we enjoyed our stay!

Fue un excelente hospedaje. La canina estaba impecable al llegar y siempre que necesitamos contactarlos estaban atentos a ayudarnos. El lugar aparte de estar muy bien cuidado y rodeado de maravillosa naturaleza, cuenta inclusive con todos los utensilios necesarios para cocinar, teniendo aún la delicadeza de poner a disposición diversos aceites o sazonadores para cocinar. Las camas estaban impecables, el baño igual, con los paños a disposición doblados de una manera muy elegante y la ducha contaba con champú y acondicionador. Asimismo tienen un “brochure” en inglés y español sobre lo que se puede disfrutar en la zona, ofreciendo su ayuda de ser necesario! Al igual que cuentan sobre los diferentes restaurantes que hay cerca y cuentan con una opción en la cual los huéspedes pueden pedir brunch para entrega en el lugar de un restaurante local. En síntesis, fue una excelente experiencia que todos disfrutamos y 100% sus instalaciones son PetFriendly!

10/10. The host family is very kind, helpful and communicative. The space is beautifully bathed in natural light and surrounded by nature. There is hot water, generous space, good reception/wi-fi, and everything you might need in the kitchen. The climate is cool at night so we slept great. Great neighborhood with good restaurants and stores walking distance. We stayed for five weeks and would absolutely do it again! Highly recommended.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft neben dem Jungel. Nächte sind ruhig und es gibt eine tolle Außenküche. Tana hat uns super Vorschläge für Unternehmungen gemacht und uns die Gegend gezeigt, dank ihr haben wir uns in Uvita verliebt . Wir hatten wirklich eine tolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder.

We absolutely loved this home! You are immersed in nature, with howler monkeys early in the morning, macaws, yellow throated Toucan, Mealy Amazon parrot birds and so many more everywhere. We got to see white faced monkeys in the trees right behind the house, and at the beach. The kids loved the pool and the beach is a short walk away. The beach is amazing and usually there is not another person in sight, very private. The kitchen is great too we grilled out almost every night lots of fresh fish, the grocery store is a short drive as well. So much to do and see, I would highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing week at the casita! Heather was so helpful at every step of the way and went above and beyond to immediately address an issue we were having with the TV and to answer other questions to help us get situated. Even before we arrived in Costa Rica, she was offering suggestions and advice which was much appreciated. The casita is exactly as pictured and was truly an authentic jungle experience -- really magical. Seeing a whole troop of monkeys swing by on the trees off the balcony was a highlight for sure!

It’s only been 5 hours since we left and we miss our casita already. Colin and Stephanie are great hosts and very nice people. We quickly felt right at home and our 1 month stay went too quickly. We loved the neighborhood, great for a challenging walks when we wanted extra exercise. Groceries close by, great restaurants and we loved the variety of beaches with in 20 minutes. Colin’s chickens provided us with the best eggs, we really appreciated that! We would love to return and look forward to enjoying the new pool and casita’s that will be completed soon.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in Casa Sendero. Het is een mooi huisje in een prachtige jungle-omgeving. De eigenaren zijn erg aardig. Het is een goede plek om de omgeving te bezoeken, wij gingen o.a. naar Reptilandia, Finca 6 archeologisch museum en natuurlijk naar het strand.

Considering the lot of the property there was a lot of space interior and exterior. 3 of us stayed here and enjoyed the pool, tanning deck, and Ac in the bedrooms. We were able to walk to restaurants and the beach less than 5 minutes away but when inside the property the gate provides a lot of privacy and the neighbors are quiet.

David's place is a perfect location to walk to anything you need. It was amazing to sit on the balcony and see and hear all the wildlife. We will definitely stay here again.

​Our stay at Apartamento Flor de LyS in Quepos was truly exceptional, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Lester and his wife. Their warm and genuine "pura vida" spirit made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The apartment was immaculate, well-equipped, and perfectly located for exploring the area. Lester and his wife went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing excellent local recommendations and promptly addressing any questions we had. Their kindness and attentiveness made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone visiting Quepos!

Compared to the other properties in the area for the price, everything was perfect. I wish I had read a little more to know there was no a/c but it really wasn’t much of a problem. Lots of properties don’t have a/c in the area. It’s common. Thanks Tina!

Un lugar muy cómodo y tranquilo, sin duda para volver.

A taste of nature for sure. Birds and monkeys right off the front porch, and just far enough removed from the city that it was literally in a little jungle valley. Probably amazing in the rainy season when the little river behind the property is flowing. Very peaceful, and the land lady on the premises was always there for help.

Excelente experiencia. El lugar era justo como en las fotos, muy limpio y acogedor. La ubicación era perfecta, cerca de todo lo que queríamos visitar. Además, el anfitrión fue muy atento y siempre respondió rápido a nuestras preguntas. Sin duda, una estadía memorable. ¡Recomiendo 100%!
