Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Uvita

Micheal was so cool. Very helpful finding the way to the house which was mildly tricky. Great communication. Overall, I will be staying here again and loved my time spent. We saw sloths, monkeys, parrots, many crazy looking birds, and more at the place with an impeccable view of the ocean and jungles surrounding the home.

The place is undoubtedly wonderful, an excellent strategic point, it feels like home, the pool is delicious and the host is very attentive.

We found the location great: a small convenience store close by, good Mexican restaurant two blocks and beach four blocks away. Further: view restaurants 15-20’ in both directions; life-changing sanctuaries (Alturas) and wildlife preserves (Sierpe! Playa Tortuga!) 30-60’. Variety of surfing beaches from a walk to a drive away. Great couple renting boards right at the beach entrance so no need to carry them home. We loved the outdoor shower and especially the pool, heaven on a hot day or after a warm walk or hike. We loved taking an early morning “nature walk” to see monkeys and birds as they wake and look for breakfast. Real treats: Cherrie’s Tanagers, Morpho butterflies and especially the Howlers coming through the corridor next door at 4:45am. Tropical thunderstorms with frogs calling, enjoyed from the shelter of the terrace with lightning all around, rain splashing in the pool. The local Mercado with fabulous yogurt and smoothies, fruit and bread, Wed/Sat. House a sanctuary!

This was our 2nd stay at Casa Mar Y Selva and obviously we loved it enough to return in 3 months. It has an amazing view and wildlife is abundant. First day of our stay we literally didn't sit down much because we were up taking photos. We sat on the patio daily from 6am til sunset enjoying our surroundings, Relaxing and peaceful. Nicole is the TOPS when it comes to communicating and hosting. Always kind and friendly and shares with us local knowledge. Hope to return again soon. Thanks for everything.

The house was perfect and private. The outdoor patio and pool area was lovely and refreshing to come back to at the of the day. The kitchen was beautiful and very well provisioned. The beds were very comfortable. The house was spotless! Nancy was very responsive and helpful!

This was an amazing experience! The villa was well equipped and very beautiful. The location was amazing as well, in the middle of nature but still close (less than 10min drive) to Uvita itself. We also saw tucans and monkeys from our balcony. We would defenitily recommend this!

Great place to stay with beautiful views. A little difficult to get to, but we fully expected that. Was worth the drive up and down the mountain for a nice clean house in a quiet setting. Plenty of good restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay! Teri and Rich were absolutely amazing hosts – incredibly friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They organized surf lessons for us, personally took us to the beach, and were always available whenever we needed anything. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed – including a lovely pool to relax in. We felt completely at home and really appreciated the peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. I couldn’t be happier with this Airbnb!! My husband and I booked Brian & Karla’s Casita for a week to enjoy our honeymoon. I wish we’d booked it even longer. This place has a way of making you feel completely unplugged from society, all the while being as modern as it gets. Pictures don’t do it justice! The wrap around balcony was perfect for evening sunsets, and the inside of the Casita was a perfect place to relax after adventuring Costa Rica. The Casita is a short drive down the mountain to Dominical, which has tons of local restaurants - Brian’s recommendations were spot on! You are also super close to Nuayaca Waterfalls, Uvita, and Manuel Antonio! Brian is an amazing host and quickly responded whenever we had questions. Him and his wife even made us dinner one night. We highly recommend this airbnb and we would book at Brian’s 1000x over! Pura Vida

The hostess is very friendly and communicative. A beautiful place, a great view of the sea, very tidy, clean, very quiet, beautiful nature.

Our stay at this property was absolutely incredible, with a breathtaking view! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. The concierge was welcoming, and we appreciated for a hot shower and fresh towels. The pool area was stunning and well-maintained.However, there are a few areas that could be improved. It good to have coffee or tea for guest, and we were surprised to find there was no iron. Additionally, some house rules were unexpected, such as the prohibition on drones and no BBQs, despite them being shown in the photos. Although the balcony is shared with other guests, we were fortunate to have it mostly to ourselves. The bar chairs on the balcony were not very comfortable, and there was only one patio chair for the two of us. We also felt a bit uncomfortable with the presence of several cameras on the property, including one right of our apartment. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was fantastic! We would definitely stay again!

Great AirBnB room in a hotel complex. Very great and large balcony with great views over the garden and the sea. In the middle of animals and wonderful vegetation. Great hotel trails and very nice pool area. Very good food and friendly staff. Very quick response to questions and very helpful hints. Highly recommended !

You can never get enough of the view! Amazing place and surroundings. Totally recommend this place to stay. Friendly hosts! We loved our stay, we will definitely come back. It is very up on a hill so don’t expect to walk to town center Uvita, you will need a car (4x4 on rainy season). But the drive is totally worth it.

Kim and Will were really helpful from the start, provided a great list of suggested activities off the back of our interests. It’s a lovely house with a mega view and pool. Highly recommend.

I only stayed one night this time but could have spent many more nights here. A very nice place close to everything! This place is inpecably clean and fresh- the apartment as well as area. Comfy beds! The staff was highly communicative before arrival and very welcoming. I appreciated being able to keep my luggage stored after check out. Again: highly service minded staff. Lovely! Above all it was excellent We were surprised to arrive and see such a beautiful, tidy, organized and clean place, the pool is quite deep (about 1.70cm since I measure 1.47 and did not reach the bottom) Which is quite comfortable to swim at ease and dive for a while, the kitchen is very well equipped⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ With Victor I did not have to wait 2 minutes for him to respond, he always gave with the result of my inquiries, and Gabriela undoubtedly to some very kind and attentive to our needs, the place is just as in the photos, close to beaches and the place is very quiet to take a walk, go to eat, beach and even waterfalls(10 minutes by car) I recommend it quite a bit, in short we will come back some day⭐⭐⭐⭐

I came for a yoga and meditation retreat. This was the perfect 1 bedroom home to base myself, kitchen to cook each day, nice hill to go for morning walking and hikes, large lounge and balcony to practice my morning yoga. Good internet to do my work at the computer. Good air conditioning to keep cool when in the house. Lizzet was always responsive and helpful. High recommend.

This place is exactly as it looks and is described, which makes it a good Airbnb and good value (at the price as of April 2025 at least). Carles and his co-host communicate well and everything about the place is easy (easy to find, check-in, care for, etc). It isn't fancy but it is nice/well-built (small things like the shower water doesn't get all over the bathroom like with many similar shower setups) and comfortably arranged for 1-2 people with 2 desks for working etc. Would absolutely return. Downsides, if you want to know them: the immediate surrounding area is nothing special (it's in a nondescript small development), and there was quite a bit of noise in the morning, including starting at 5:30am on Saturday (this may be temporary/construction). It didn't interfere with my enjoyment, but it is good to know.

I really liked the accommodation, very peaceful, lots of birds, and sounds of animals that convey peace. We went with a 4x2 car and it was fine because it was summer. If you don't know how to drive on a gravel road, a 4x4 is necessary, or in winter if necessary. The views are unbelievable. .

We enjoyed our time in Uvita! The space was comfortable! Marlène was prompt in responding! The pool was fabulous after our adventures on hot days! The location was great! 15 minute casual walk to Marina Ballena National Park (The Whale’s Tail)! I would definitely stay here again when in the area!

This location gave an excellent view of the surrounding area. Waking up to a wall-sized window viewing the beautiful countryside was lovely.
