Elegant villa with a beautiful view

KathrynRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I cannot say enough about the beauty of this location. The view is unbelievable. The house is so well sited to take advantage of the view. The porch is gorgeous and soaking tub is lovely. The house is glass on two sides to take full advantage of the view but also completely private. Modern decor with a serene and peaceful vibe. Isaac responded immediately to our questions when we arrived. Great weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

La Cabaña first floor

PaulRating, 5 stars28 months ago
Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.
The modern kitchen features sleek black cabinetry and a marble floor, complemented by stainless steel appliances. A spiral staircase leads to the upper level. A kitchen island with seating for six is visible, along with a washer and dryer unit thoughtfully integrated into the design.

Casa Quepos near Manuel Antonio with Jacuzzy

AzizaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hands down nicest place, really enjoyed it. manuel Antonio is right around the corner! The powerful AC throughout (kitchen and both bedrooms) provided the best night's sleep of our entire trip. The location is ideal - close to shops and restaurants while feeling secure behind the gated entrance. We absolutely loved the luxurious touches - especially the comfortable beds, large washer/dryer, and that amazing jacuzzi shower room! The balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. After a week of traveling, this place felt like absolute luxury, and we appreciated how responsive and kind the host was. We felt the cleanest and most comfortable we'd been in Costa Rica - honestly can't understand how anyone could leave this gem a negative review!
The Jungle Pod Cabin is framed by lush greenery, showcasing a unique angular design with a wooden exterior. A pathway of stones leads to the cabin's door, while vibrant plants add color to the natural surroundings beneath a partly cloudy sky.

Waterfall Farm Cozy Cabin Stay

KarliRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Definitely a gem! I love San Luis and this is a great place to stay. The cabin is super cute and the property is gorgeous. I loved the rainbow eucalyptus trees right outside the cabin. The amenities were very nice, super relaxing - especially the infrared sauna and the yoga area, which both have a view of the distant waterfall. I especially enjoyed doing yoga while watching toucans fly from tree to tree in front of me :)
An open cabin features wood-paneled walls and a spacious bed with a light blue patterned cover. Bright blue curtains frame large windows, allowing natural light to fill the space. A small seating area with a table and chairs is visible beside a fan, along with a kitchenette area.

Uvita Oasis Retreat - Cabin near Beach

TalinRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We had such an incredible stay here. Walking through an incredible garden by Marino Ballena National Park in the morning felt like the biggest treat. Listening to monkeys and macaws from the terrace was a total immersion in nature. I needed to walk to see Uvita Oasis’s pool, laundry room, veranda, outside seating areas, etc. Our cabin in the Uvita Oasis was a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. With excellent air conditioning and WiFi, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to be completely self-sufficient. Although there are various private parking areas in Uvita Oasis, the cabin had its own parking space well protected from the sun. Milena, our dedicated point of contact at Uvita Oasis, was exceptional. She swiftly arranged a day trip to Corcovado within a couple of hours and was always prompt in her responses, ensuring our needs were met. 100% recommend

La Cana La Gruta

RolfRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Costa Rica is more than just beaches & surfing. Ruben’s mountain cabin has beautiful views, a private “eco-spa” in the stream, and a swimming hole nearby, fruit trees, and birds of all kinds including Toucans. It’s a short walk to the market and bus stops, a 15 min trip to San Isidro by car or taxi, and a half-hour to Dominical. Days are hot and it gets cool at night, and it is always quiet, just the sounds of nature - reminds me of being at a cottage in Canada in summer.

Casita "Kolibri"

Rebeca Rating, 5 stars3 months ago
The place is beautiful, it's close enough to everything, but at the same time it's very private. Regarding arrival by car, a 4×2 car can climb the hill very well if it's high and it hasn't rained much. Benjamin is very friendly and was always very attentive to all our questions.

Smurfs 3 cabin

MichaelRating, 5 stars38 months ago
I liked the location here as it’s just far enough from town to have enough quiet around you to enjoy some wildlife. I saw hummingbirds, toucans, monkeys from the patio. In the morning and evening I could hear the ocean waves. It’s about a 10 minute walk to town. Lizzet was very communicative, responding quickly. There’s no screens on the windows or AC. Overall, I had a good stay here.

Mohe's Cabin 3

Tanyeli MelodyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This stay was a fun adventure—like camping but with the comfort of a room! It would make a great camping-style getaway for a family. The location was fantastic, just about five minutes from the beach and with eateries in both directions. A couple of things to keep in mind: there’s only a fan for cooling, and the water is cold, but after a day at the beach, it’s actually quite refreshing! Overall, a unique and enjoyable experience for those looking for a simple, nature-inspired stay. Can't recommend enough.

Cabana el Congo

An ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of people and the city, just to be quiet and disconnected from the urban world. You have to have a 4x4 car because the entrance requires it. Don Marco was very attentive and explained the house rules well and waited for us at the entrance, verifying that we would choose well. We loved the place

Lapa’s Nest, nature outlook

JohnRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Brad's place was really great. The deck overlooking the balcony was beautiful. The kitchen was perfect for cooking my modest breakfasts. The bathroom was clean and I didn't even use the hot water in the shower. The cool shower felt amazing. Ideally you have your own car if you stay here. You can get by relying on the buses, but it's not quite ideal. It's a beautiful place to stay though! Would definitely stay here again.

Private Riverfront with 2-Acre Organic Food Forest

DonRating, 5 stars4 months ago
You'd have to search a long, long time to find a more helpful, generous, and gracious hostess than Laura. She went out of her way to help us with a problem we had in getting to her place. There was a bowl of fresh fruit harvested from her property waiting for us in the kitchen, and Laura had put four fresh coconuts in the fridge, already husked and ready for us tothe cold milk. Laura also included us in a nice birthday cookout for one of the men who works there. This is a great place to rest and recuperate from traveling. The house is beautifully built and very comfortable. The king-size bed and the walk-in shower are luxurious. The washer & dryer allowed us to leave with clean clothes in our suitcases. The nights were quiet; the stars and the sound of the river were wonderful. We had a car but never left the property. The kitchen is one of the best equipped I've seen in Airbnb rentals and there was coffee & tea. We could have lived for several days on the items in the pantry.
The cozy sleeping area features a red bed adorned with colorful pillows, framed by rustic wooden accent walls. Two standing lamps provide soft lighting, while a round side table complements the decor. A window covered with light curtains offers a glimpse of natural light.

Homestay in a gardenhouse 10min walk to the beach

MelaniaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A very nice and cozy place, it has the basics for an excellent stay in the Uvita area. Close to the entrance to Marino Ballena Park. Nele and her husband were very helpful and pleasant at all times, they gave us recommendations and welcomed us very warmly. Very clean place and surrounded by nature, just to relax and unwind, a spacious bathroom, with light and good ventilation with mosquito protection, fully equipped kitchen and we loved the small terrace in front with a table and lights at night for a beautiful evening.

Beautiful cabin in the woods of Ojochal

LeonelRating, 5 stars17 months ago
The cabin is really nice to relax and good location to drive from to nearby beaches and waterfalls. I felt the cabin is also larger than it looks on the pics! Especially the kitchen area. The second bedroom is probably more suited for children than adults, it has no space to put your bags and clothes. Only the main room has some space for this. Also, second bedroom is only separated from living room by a double set of courtains, they're thick and dark, but there are no doors or walls. We visited as a couple, so no problem for us :), but something to keep in mind if 3 or 4 friends want to visit. Our favorite area of the house was the terrace overlooking the woods, great to just hang out and also has a nice table to have breakfast, lunch, etc
A private swimming pool is surrounded by lounge chairs under a protective canopy. Lush palm trees provide shade, while water is gently spraying from wall-mounted features. The bright blue water reflects the sunlight, creating a relaxing atmosphere for outdoor enjoyment.
