If you are not so mountain-savvy, you can also take the mountain railway to the Säntis, where a panorama with a view of 6 countries awaits you. Some hiking trails pass right by the house and for a training round, a sports course in the forest can be found within 2 minutes. Everyday shopping facilities are located in Speicher and Teufen, the city of St. Gallen can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The access to the accommodation leads over a forest road - in winter 4x4 or the 10-minute walk
