Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Übersee

Even the welcome by Pauline conveyed a good feeling of being welcome. It was like staying at a friends' place.

We had a wonderful time with Maria in Geißach! The lovingly developed Alpine-style hut is a real gem – very well maintained, cozy and idyllically located at the end of a hermitage. We particularly liked the quiet location on the mountain, surrounded by orchards, where you can relax in the shade and watch the calves. The amenities were excellent, especially for our little son: baby travel cot, high chair and even a stair gate – everything was available and in top condition. Despite the quiet location, you can reach Aldi or DM in a few minutes by car, and the surroundings also offer many beautiful excursion options. Maria was a very warm host, who makes you feel welcome immediately. We will be happy to come back!

The small idyll was a bit tight for 4 adults, but you can also call it simply muggy and cozy. The noise of the highway is so subtle that you don't even notice it. And so you get a really cute cottage everywhere peppered with little touches. This is still a real AirBnB where you feel welcome and where the owners have thought about. The quaint style is positively deceptive, because the house is above average equipped with charging stations, kitchen technology and co. However, I would treat the house to one more door that separates the sleeping areas from each other. Thank you for the uncomplicated hospitality It was really nice to stay with you.

The apartment is just as great as described. It was super clean, is excellently equipped and very well located to explore the beautiful Chiemgau. Anja, our contact person, did the check-in with us and also gave us good tips. Sabine also inquired about us and was super friendly and interested. Next time, we would book the accommodation through Airbnb again.

We had a wonderful stay at Elisabeth's place! The house is spacious, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Elisabeth was an excellent host, providing thoughtful recommendations that really enhanced our trip. I highly recommend staying here!

We were able to spend a very nice and relaxing time here again. The beautiful view, three different seating areas outside, garden, terrace, covered barbecue corner and the quiet secluded location of the house are highly recommended. The surrounding area invites you to do numerous activities. The hosts Jutta and Hannes are friendly, unobtrusive, but always approachable and helpful. Really wonderful location with magnificent views. Absolutely as described and we all felt instantly at home. Finally saw the roaming cows on our last night! Truly amazing. We felt at home in the beautiful, small apartment. It is tastefully furnished with a lot of love for detail and very well equipped. Communication with Markus was very good and extremely helpful from the beginning. Markus and Sandra are really the best hosts. The proximity to Lake Chiemsee and the beautiful mountains with fantastic hiking opportunities made our vacation perfect. We will be happy to come back.

The place fully met our expectations! Super cozy, great cooking equipment, great balcony for breakfast, excellent location for excursions and hikes! Simone is a super communicative and likeable hostess! We received great tips for excursions and could always contact them when we had a question. We will be back!! :)

Beautiful apartment and very sweet, helpful hosts! We were greeted by a high-quality furnished, top modern and clean apartment, which is located in a new, very well-maintained house. After the vacation, our son probably first talked about the apartment, which he liked so much, in kindergarten. In the basement, the apartment has its own washing machine and dryer, both of which are ready for use at any time if needed. Despite the proximity to the highway, the apartment is quiet. Baker, butcher and a small supermarket are within walking distance. The location of the apartment makes it possible to explore the area around Lake Chiemsee as well as the entire Bavarian Alpine foothills up to Austria. Carolin and Stephan always had an open ear, were always easily accessible and were there to help. Her friendly manner made the stay even more enjoyable. We'd love to come back!

Clean apartment at a very good location

The apartment is a dream: spacious, super nicely decorated, in the kitchen you will find everything you need, comfortable beds with different pillows to choose from. There are 2 balconies, plus a garage for the bicycles. E-bikes and the e-car can be charged for free. The location is perfect: right on the spa garden (concerts can be heard from the balcony), 3 minutes' walk to the bakery, butcher and Edeka, by bike just 10 minutes to Lake Chiemsee (on foot a good 30 minutes). Ulrike is a very lovely and helpful host, she was always quickly available and the laundry service was 1A. We felt absolutely comfortable with Ulrike and would book the apartment again at any time.

We had a wonderful time in Ingrid and Jochen's beautiful, very quiet apartment. It is equipped with everything you need, has a large terrace and offers views of the countryside and mountains. Marquartstein is the ideal starting point for forays in the Chiemgau and hikes in the Chiemgau Alps, which you can even start on foot directly at the apartment. The chairlift to the Hochplatte is also within walking distance. Ingrid and Jochen are very nice and attentive hosts who also had a treat to welcome us and lots of tips for us. Unrestricted recommendation!

The apartment was just beautiful. The bathroom, kitchen and bedroom are perfect for 1-2 people. There is not much to explore in the village, but the nearest town of Traunstein is just a few minutes away by car and has everything you need. The popular tourist locations around Lake Chiemsee are about 20 minutes away and are very suitable for day trips. Heidi was friendly and helpful, the apartment was clean and cozy. I would book it again anytime.

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

We felt very comfortable. Bea and Alexander were very open-minded and had great tips for activities, parking, etc. We'll be back.

Everything as described, Stephanie responded very quickly and the apartment has a personal touch. The location is of course great. Check-in is in person and you don't just get a key code, which we like. Everything was also provided for our child. There were plenty of towels and a small basic equipment in the kitchen such as tea, coffee, oil, cereal and milk.

A truly excellent find. The accommodation is very well equipped and comfortable with amazing views and sunsets it is easy to understand why our hosts feel privileged to live there. Indeed our hosts were remarkably generous, kind and helpful and gave us great ideas on what to do. If we are lucky enough to return to the area we know where we would like to stay. The apartment is great, we felt very comfortable! It really has everything you need. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and we were allowed to leave our luggage on the day of departure, so we could spend another day at the lake. Rainer is very warm and helpful. The fruit provided, the champagne to welcome and the sweets were very sweet. We would really have liked to have stayed longer - if we are drawn to Schliersee again, we will be happy to come back to this apartment!

The apartment is located in a quiet residential area with parking in front of the house. You go to the apartment at ground level despite the hillside location, which was an advantage for my mother with a walker. Unfortunately, the weather was modest, but thanks to Netflix and cozy apartment, a rainy day "at home" was also no problem. The apartment is fully furnished, the beds were wonderfully comfortable. We had a lovely stay, the environment is very peaceful, great if you want to have a quiet stay near nature and visit Munich. Please note, there is a 20-minute walk between the accommodation and the train station, the only downside :-)

The accommodation, in typical Bavarian style, has been able to charm us very much: in a quiet, green residential neighborhood in the immediate vicinity of the Chiemsee, with all the amenities for a pleasant stay present, neat and spacious for 2 people. Clear instructions, a smooth written contact with the host, a folder full of tourist information and a small welcome gift made our arrival all the more pleasant. The apartment in Chieming was the ideal base for us to explore the region and to make day trips to Munich, Salzburg, Königssee, … We had a top week there!
