Arts and craft style lodge

we found it just as described and felt quite at home during our stay. Thorrington lodge is a lovely little cottage with some interesting history. As a base we managed to visit all we intended too and more and would recommend it for sure.

Modern Flat with Private Parking

SheenaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Sara’s place was perfect. It was super clean and very welcoming. Sara arranged for us to check in early as our flight to Edinburgh arrived very early in the morning. This was a game changer for us and we really appreciated how accommodating sara was in being agreeable to our request. The kitchen was well supplied, bathroom very clean and modern, bed extremely comfy, parking very easy. We particularly liked how conveniently located the suite was to the main village square. We highly recommend staying at Sara’s if you are in the Kelso area.

Another great find with everything thought of. Clean & comfortable in very peaceful surroundings. Don't trust the SATNAV as pointed out by very helpful host Sarah ! Follow her instructions. Will be back again for sure.

Kestrel Lodge

Lovely location, with great views. We were only there for two nights so didn't make use of the hot tub, but everything was there if we'd needed it. The property was exactly as described, clean and fully fitted out. A decent breadknife would have been handy (we didn't think to buy sliced bread!!) but that aside everything else was perfect.

Thistle Nook - Cozy Country Cottage

Deborah JayneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. beautifully presented and although compact, it's a very usable space. The directions for arrival were slightly confusing as it directs you to the church to find the property. The old church is now a community centre and the actual church is on the other side of the road. Was fine once we figured this out! One small negative was the wooden bar stools under the dining table made using the table uncomfortable. Overall we had a lovely stay, Coldstream is a great place to explore. We did some long river walks and there was a bonus play park a couple of minutes from the cottage. The locals were friendly and I would highly recommend visiting the local butcher and bakery!

Renovated railway carriage

Gorgeous place to stay, we had such a lovely week with our little one and the dog who loved running round the enclosed area around the railway carriage and looking out at the stunning views. Very sad to have to leave!

The Granary

MaryroseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Apartment was great, very spacious and comfortable. Ideally located right in the centre of town but private and secure. Managed to get parked right outside but there's plenty of free parking close bye if you're not so lucky. Most shops, bars snd restaurants within a 5 to 15 minute walk. Went to the races one of the days and the course is just a 25 minute walk away. Would happily return should we visit Kelso again.
